Yes, Mr. Moderator, it would have been very helpful to members of this board if you would provide us with some detailed information, and not just say "anyone here going?".
It's a good thing you have friends with funky ass glowing hands.

That's no excuse. You wanted the job, and now you have it. Better start pulling your weight, buddy, or will send you to Mod mylilpony.com ;)
Pretty cool that Sacramento has it's own show. I wish I lived out west, I'd check it out!

(better late than never!)
I ended up going to the show. Drove 9 hours from Portland.
It was a great trip. Met some very nice people.
As a 3.75 collector, the show itself was decent. The 12 inch line seemed to be the main focus and I would say only 20% of the booths carried the 3.75 plastic crack. Luckily, the dealers that did have the action figures had a great selection so i still got my fix.
Supposedly, this show happens twice a year. One in Feb and another in Sept. One of the promoters said they are having to move to a larger location due to the growing popularity. This should give them double the space which means double the toys!
Looking forward to making it down again. May try for Feb in 2008.

Cool. If you hear anything more on a September show in Sac, it would be great to know more about it.

There's no such thing here. That's one reason I miss NYC so much, at least there was a strong following there that had their own "mini conventions".

Ask and you shall receive! :)
Just got the flyer for the September show. They have moved down the street from where they had it before and they now have double the space!
This Sept show isn't "just" a G.I. Joe show, its now a general toy show as well. I really think this is good as it involved more vendors and can make it an even bigger event.
