i check there every 2 -3 days and i haven't gone since tuesday evening.

i go there last night and what do i see??

one snake-eyes w/ white timber and one storm shadow.

i'm immediately pissed. now the girl tells me they are "working on a truck as we speak"...so to come back when we open tomorrow morning.

i'm there.

but...Target employee said the "GI JOE" stuff was in boxes in the back. i will be returning tonight and tomorrow morning. i will get those suns a' bishes!!

You're lucky. I stopped by a few Targets, K-Mart, Toy Hobby Shop, and TRU (So Cal / San Gabriel Area). Unable to locate any figures or hint of them being there.

At my local target I saw the labels for the new joes and 8" Commandos and AT. Surprisingly no soldier labels?

One of the Targets in Colorado Springs did their reset Aug. 2nd, which was about bout 10 am, when I got there, so I went back this morning and they had 25th Joes, new Sigma's and the "new" BBi stuff. Finally got me black Timber and Snake Eyes. So start checking Targets!

Yup I know what you mean I get 6 of every trooper and army build like a nut. If I really like the figure like these new Cobra soldiers...I will buy 12 of each.

It gets expensive with the Cobra 5-packs.

I hope they sell the cobra soldier with the red cobra emblem by himself later in the year.

Black Timber is going for a bit of money on Ebay. I would hold onto that.

I've seen no Cobra Soldiers/Officers at all in my travels. I got the single pack SE, SS, Flint, and CC from TRU. I haven't seen any 5 packs.

I got my first 15 figures at Target. I would check the Targets if you can. I got all of them in a 3 day span. They get a shipment every day. You just have to catch them at the right time. I have found that around 3-6 pm has been the best time.

Don't know about everyone else.But,kmarts seem to be the hot spot for them.All of the figs i got (i got all single packs and 1 black timber) came from kmart.I guess with kmart being the last stop( and thought) for anything,they seem to have a good amount of them.

Each Kmart I have gone to aside one has been an utter mess. Its as if kids went rampant in their and stampeded the aisles a long time ago, and no one ever bothers to clean up. I was looking for a figure once, and the security guard nearby said "I can't belive you even found something in this mess!".

No. A member on macrossworld made a clever fix though. He used the clear plastic bands from the packaging of hasbro toys and wrapped them onto Flint's wrists. He then repainted the entire hand brown including the plastic bands. It gives off a gloved look.

Walmart is ordering these and transformers heavily for fall, and the ones that did not do their xmas endcap test runs are catching up now. Within the next two months you should be able to get a hold of these, but I honestly think by next month you will be able to get these rather easily.

i went next door to WAL-MART and they had about 7 Storm Shadow's, 10 Snake-Eyes, 6 -7 COBRA Commander's no Flint's or COBRA Officer's at all...

few Sigma6 and Combat squad items and all 3 animal packs/boxed sets.

Im in Columbus, Ohio. I have been all over creation for the last 3 weeks and havent seen a single 25th joe in the stores. Now I did hit the mother load at Toy R Us (S Hamilton Rd) about a month ago and got everything except a cobra officer. Which I wanta few of!!

BBTS has Wave 2 listed as September...when!?! Is there a drop day I should know about?

Anyone know of a store around Central Ohio selling wave 2 or has a stock or Wave 1? Because I see nothing except empty shelves!

After reading this I want to post my story.
For my job I drive around from NE ohio to SW texas and back. And Ive been to every walmart, tru and target and quite a few kmarts from end to end. And Im stopping at 2-5 places per day. So far Ive managed to get 1 black dog snake eyes, 1 white, 1 storm shadow, 2 officers 3 cobra 5 packs and 2 joes. Other then that All Ive seen is random numbers of snakes and storm shadows and maybe 6 cobra 5 packs I didnt buy. Personally I think its getting a bit rediculous constantly going to places to look at empty racks where the figures should be and Im getting more and more upset by it.
All I want is a decent Flint and CC carded and maybe 2 more officers. And I must say that if the wave 2 and 3 end up being like this I will simply stop caring and stop (trying) to buy them.... And If I real this way Im sure alot of other people do to.

Thus far I've seen about 3 Flints, 4-5 CC's, 1 Black wolf Snake Eyes and about 3-4 Officers since the single packs came to my area. Mind you now I can really only find White Wolf Snake Eyes at any stores (Even Storm Shadow is nowhere to be found)

I'm starting to feel bad about busting up a Flint for a custom now (I thought they'd be easily found by this point)

when wave 1 was out, I think it was around July, I got my wave 1 only last August.

so I'm guessing, for wave 2, it "might" be September, but something tells me it will be October when I see it in stores.

i dunno, just a gut feeling, after witnessing a dismal 1 week, or even heck a few days release of the wave 1. let's just hope that TRU and other stores will have wave 2 and a restock of wave 1.

There is no room in the smaller walmarts due to space taken up by other lines. This line grew quick, remember it was originally was just a 10 figure line consisting of 2 battle packs. Transformers has a lot of space due to high demand, and because retailers underestimated how well it would due(it made more than two times more money than walmart thought it would make). Target is you're spot to go, of all the places I have gone to, they have things more often than TRU and walmart.

Its a combination of some retailers not ordering, and high popularity. Add those two factors together, and you have figures that are harder to get a hold of as usual.

God I hate that. I remember looking desperately for Transmetal Rattrap from Beast Wars and 2 weeks straight of empty shelves. TransMetal 2 Megatron was even worse.

Oddly enough I ran into a Hasbro rep in the toy aisle at Wal-mart today. I asked about Joes and he said the Wal-mart we were in had ordered 3 and they were sold out pretty fast. As for Transformers, he said that Hasbro knew they'd sell well but not this well! Apparently people started going crazy for them. He even told me one store manager (Who doesn't even collect Transformers) saw them and just had to have them (Apparently the guy bought a whole wave) So that would be why there's no product (Transformers or Joe wise) anywhere

Alright folks, the best thing I can advise, is to look on the shelves and see if there is a tag on the shelf or racks for the 25th anniversary figures. The prices should be $4.88 for singles, and $24.96 for the battle packs. If your walmart does not have these tags, it will probably not get the joes until january-febuary.

TRU and Target are your best bets at this point, Target is more consistent, I think they are getting more cases than TRU, or TRU simply ordered later.

As far as Transformers, it was pointed out that Walmart greatly underestimated potential sales for the Transformers toys, hence why they did not order enough. Actual sales were more than twice what they predicted.

In my area TRU sucks! I've seen 1 CC there from the 25th line. That's it! Wal-Mart I got lucky and found 4 of the single carded ones. I've seen the 5-packs at two different Targets, but sadly didn't have the cash to spare at the time. So now I'm back on the hunt and not having much luck. Hopefully with the holiday season upon us now, we'll start to see some better stocked shelves Joes and TF's.

The Star Wars aisle was made bigger, wrestling figure aisles bigger, and the militay figure aisles bigger, but now they no longer have tags for the Joe 25th stuff. Only had one case of singles and that was 2 months ago. 5-packs were restocked a few times, but now no tags for either. They did get new Sigma figures, "new" 21C figures, and "new" BBI figures.

They had Sigma Six on one end of the Military aisle next to that was a Steel Brigade 6 pack and some comic packs (They were on the pegs on the side of the endcap) the planogram showed "Boxed Joe figures" and vehicles for where all the Sigma 6 stuff was, I didn't see anything talking about 25th figures or anything

Its all over, TRU is returning to the old format aisles, the new ones were weird and confusing, and lacked space for all those toys. Guys, if your TRU does indeed have the 25th figures, the single packs will probably be at the very end on the extensions, and the battle packs will be next to the Sigma 6 figures. In my experience, both sell fast at TRU.
