I have been posting this script on IMDB since before the movie came out. It was a fun way to deal with the early reports, that said we can't do this or that in the movie.
Ironically that was before I joined here, so I figured I start an official post for this script.
Rise of the Commander (I thought of the title before the title of the movie was announced.)
The concept is that the commander works his way up into a secret society, he gains power & becomes the cobra commander that we all know. It also deals with a few questions we always wanted to ask, like where did all the tech come from? the idea was how to cast Cobra in a real world while trying to stay true to the origins.
