My Joeverse summary -

200-300 years in the future, Cobra, a ancient secret society whose list of historic leaders/Cobra Commanders include Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Ghengis Khan, and Hitler, finally succeed in taking over the world through the massive use of nukes.

Survivors of that nuclear holocaust find themselves cast into a future dark age under fuedal law with Cobra dominating every aspect of their lives. It's a high tech cyber punk industrial wasteland world.

For those who choose not to live as a subject of Cobra, their only choice is to escape into the Badlands, vast areas of nearly unihabitable wasteland, where they live as outlaws, bandits, pirates, and or freedom fighters.

Create your own band of outlaws/freedom fighters/mercenaries/pirates or your own Cobra strike force for this world! You can even have your own Sector, name it Sector WHATEVER YOU WANT, or you can be an Cobra Noble with your own land to rule. Rule it however you want. Create fantastic background stories and post away! Choose your side and let the creative juices flow!

How the World Looks Under the Cobra Flag:

Today’s world is wrought with fear and uncertainty. The generations that came after the nuclear holocaust find themselves servants of Cobra living in constant fear of warfare between disputing local Cobra Lords and roving bandits. Each citizen is the property of their local Cobra Lord. They live in a dark age under feudal law with almost no opportunity to rise above the peasant class.

Formal education is only available to the Cobra elite; however, most citizens are trained in computer programming technology and engineering so they can service Cobra’s advanced mechanized weapons and maintain the machinery, cybernetic robotics, electronics, and equipment needed to ensure survival in this inhospitable world. Even children have been trained to program and equip the most sophisticated computers, machines, and robots.

With the introduction of Cobra-La, an ancient religious cult, Cobra controls the dwindling population through religious fervor, social oppression, and promises of salvation in a spiritual afterlife. Even as they are surrounded by a high tech world created by science, most of the population is highly superstitious and blinded by their faith in Cobra-La which prevented them from questioning Cobra’s absolute authority and the world around them.

For those who choose not to live under these conditions, their only option is to escape into the Badlands. These were vast areas of the world that have been scorched by nuclear fallout and considered uninhabitable. They were barren lawless wastelands where resources were scarce and competition was fierce. It was there, in the Badlands beyond the frontier in Sector 858A where the seeds of revolution were planted.

How Cobra Conquered the World:

Only the highest ranking members of Cobra know the true account of history and exactly when the following events took place. All that is known is that some time during the late decades of the 21st century, Cobra, an ancient secret society who claims Alexander the Great as their first Great Cobra Commander, conquered the world. They did so by using nuclear weapons to wipe out nearly 2/3 of the world’s population.

After decades of secretly consolidating power and placing agents in key positions of the military and governments, Cobra executed their conspiracy plan. Cobra attained all the nuclear weapons they needed from rogue nations. Without warning, all of the major population centers around the world simultaneously vaporized under massive fiery mushroom clouds the size of mountains.

What was left of the world declared the attacks an act of terrorism. Using fear and political rhetoric, politicians (who were really Cobra Agents) from all over the world seized emergency powers from their respective governments. Because GI Joe failed to stop the nuclear attacks, the United States formally disbanded GI Joe.

The world’s governments then formed elite strike forces empowered to arrest all suspected terrorists and their agents. This list included existing members of government, the academic/philosophical elite, artists, and high ranking military officials suspected of treason. Those arrested were actually innocent people Cobra deemed a potential threat. Charges were trumped up, evidence was fabricated, and public trials ended in swift execution. After being disbanded, GI Joe was powerless to resist the wave of irrational actions brought on by overwhelming public fear.

Without political opposition, these new world leaders united their governments in a move they hailed as the first steps towards world peace giving citizens a false sense of security. Once the key players and major governments united, smaller countries were left with no choice but to surrender their sovereignty. What was left of society rejoiced under the guise of world peace. However, the exhilaration was short lived.

Slowly, this new United World Government (“UWG”) began stripping citizen’s rights to bear arms, speak freely, and assemble freely, claiming that their actions were only temporary until they can verify that those responsible for the nuclear holocaust were defeated.

Only a few years after the nuclear holocaust, the UWG began to fly a new flag. They now claimed the world under one power, under the Cobra flag. The surviving population was rounded up into concentrated pockets, referred to simply as numbered sectors, under a feudal system of laws. Citizens within the sectors were cut off from each other. Vast areas of wasteland scorched by nuclear fallout between population sectors became known as the Badlands. A new dark age was born.

Gun and vest was from one of the Avatar figures (not the cartoon, the James Cameron movie). It was the bald guy. The vest was heavily modified by cutting the front half and attaching it the the back half of 25th para viper's gear. Hope that helps.

Wow, did you actually read them? Didn't think anyone did that. I started at part 100 b/c, well, I didn't think anyone would read pass part 1. Jk.

Truth is, it started at part 100 b/c it's based in the future and I wanted to think of it as a continuation from the existing ARAH storyline and then add another set of storyline that dates back to WWII, where it all really started. In this Joeverse, the Western Allies did not become aware of the secret society known as Cobra until they discovered that Hitler was secretly Cobra Commander. Then all the conspiracy theories come into play. Per this Joeverse, the 1st Cobra Commander was Alexander the Great who established Cobra as a secret society bent on world conquest. There's so much more yet to be written. The stories have endless possibilities.

In this Joeverse, these are used by the Baroness's personal Air Wing, the Companion Air Cavalry. They're suppose to be the Air Superiority Fighter of this era. I suppose they should be faced with rivals from Destro and such.

BTW, I dubbed the air wing the Companion Air Cavalry b/c the Baroness is suppose to be a direct descendant of Alexander the Great, the world's first Cobra Commander. Alexander the Great had what he called the Companion Cavalry which became famous for kicking @ss throughout the ancient world.
