Many of the customs were fantastic, but I voted for Ripcord. In my eyes he was the best one that could be made into an actual figure. The Snow Serpent and SWARM were of course phenomenal, they made for a difficult choice.
Baroness was very well done and creative, spectacular even, I just could not imagine her being made with an ages 5 and up sticker next to her.
Interested to know everyone's picks.

Note: actually locating and figuring out the process of voting: Enormous pain in the ass.

'm a member but I keep rotating around because it won't let me stay logged in but everytime I log in it sends me to the front page. I select the contest, then vote now, then it asks me to log in, then it sends me to the front page.
I would have voted for the Snow Serpent. 100x better than the production their bringing out.

If you can find the page that has the current results, I believe you have to go through the discussion section of the forum page. (Once there you will see a voting thread.) You hit vote under where it has a link to view the entries. If you click on "click here" it just takes you to the entries.
It is extremely cumbersome hope this helps.

Any members have trouble voting? I'm a member and it won't let me vote. I keep getting bumped back to sign in screen.
If I could vote, I'd have to vote for my top three. Snow Serpent, Alpine and a three way tie between Bombstrike, Cobra female trooper, Tunnel Rat. In the tie, I'd have to go with Tunnel Rat.
# 1 would be Snow Serpent.
I love the Baroness. Awesome work but, I don't think it has commercial appeal. The thong, though a sexy touch, wasn't needed. I still want one.
Swarm is just sick. I think Swarm has a chance to be in top two.

Ditto for both.
Seriously, why is the GIJCC website so awful? Don't even get me started on Master Collector. You can't even view past orders! I would say that it is outdated by at least a decade, but it's unacceptable even by those standards. It doesn't have to be fancy (in fact simplicity is best), but it shouldn't be impossible to navigate.

Instead of using the VOTE HERE link (which doesn't work, like you said), log in to the forums, find the Vote thread at the top of the 25th Anniversary Forum, and then I think you have to click a little Vote link at the top to change the display from a bar graph of the results to the actual voting form. It's pretty ridiculous.

Favorite to least Favorite:
1. Fridge (Nostalgia factor off the charts)
2. Slaughter (Uncanny resemblence)
3. Snow Serp (Cool Warhammer feel that I really appreciate as a miniature painter)
4. Snake Eyes Vietnam (Love the hat shielding the face)
5. SWARM- (Incredible detail I just have no idea who or what this is)
6. Steel Brigade (This might as well be a production piece its so clean)
7. Big Boa (I would really like a closer look as the photo is somewhat distant
8. A.V.A.C.- (Impressive helmet molding?)
9. Starduster- (Perfect paint job)
10. Desert Scorpion- (someone had to be last as Im not as big a fan of the other entries )
Baroness certainly has that "it" factor but as much as we all like her Im not sure of her practicality in terms of marketability therefore I cannot place her at the top of my list.

I voted for Da' Fridge, I think it looks cool as hell. This was a good choice of figures, but I've seen some others that should've been chosen also. I personally liked Shogi's Mutated Cobra Commander.

I'm not a member but I like the Lamprey hands down over all the rest. Many of the others are good, but either a bit too simple (just repaint) or overdone and no longer Joe-like. Over-all a lot of good stuff though.

I think your Eel will get more votes than yours. It is a very well thought out figure and very cool looking too...

I agree with the fact that Shogi's mutated CC should have been in the mix too. That figure is fantastic...

I think one of the problems with the voting system is that it shows you the results before you vote so I would think that would sway some peoples vote.

Figuring out how to vote was horrible!
I voted for Lampreys. I really dug him
Now, about the prize. Where did everyone get the idea that the grand prize is the winning custom being professionally made?
Here's the official announcement:
The Contest WINNER will be announced and featured on www.GIJoe.com and receive a special prize presented by the Hasbro G.I. Joe Marketing team.
So even IF it was the custom being professionally done by Hasbro, only one person is getting it anyway (And they made it first! :) ) My guesses are either a box of new toys (or prototypes) or possibly they'll get made into a figure like Red Zone

1. on the main page look on the left and click on forum.
2. Sign in and click on "Go"
3. At that point you get a screen with a pic in the middle with kids and the 25th logo. Look to your left at the wooden sign and click on "Discussion".
4. You are now looking at a forum page. Click on "2007-08 G.I. Joe: RAH 25th Anniversary" under the 3 3/4 inch GI joe category.
5. Now look for one of the stickies at the top. "25th Anniversary Custom Figure Contest - Vote here! "
6. You will see a list of all the figures and above that there is a red line and in that red line it says "Select your Favorite Custom Figure!"
7. Follow that red line over to the right and click on "Vote".
8. Then choose the figure you want to vote for and than press the gray Vote button below the list.

I agree with everyone else here, navigating their site is so horrbile I almost gave up. All of the customs look great but some where so awesome I had a hard time with it but eventually settled on Lampreys.

I like the baroness but if that is one of the top 3 I cant see hasbro declaring it the winner and putting it on their website... I can see them putting swarm or snow serpent up though. These are just the top 3 right now. Rip cord has a chance as well.
Does anyone know when the voting stops?

I surprised by how many people say they love the Baroness, but did not vote for her becuase her outfit is not G rated. Who cares? No one said you were voting for a figure they may make, you are just supossed to vote for the one you like the best. If there was a problem with this outfit, it would not be one up for voting.
