I checked the Toys R Us in Tigard (Beaverton) last week and didn't see any, but I'll keep checking.

How much were they at Toy Bliss?

They were $29.99 at ToyBliss which was exactly the same at TRU.

Toys R US had them on Saturday the 7th, but they went pretty quickly. The employee at TRU said they only received two cases and were limiting customers to one of each.

I've heard that most stores were shorted so who knows if they have gotten any more.

Wave 2 was a ghost in this area. I finally got mine at a Target in Hillsboro about 3 weeks ago. Haven't seen or heard of more since.

I know we're in the dead zone (post-Christmas, pre-reset).

But I wanted to drop a line on what I've found recently:

TRU and Fred Meyer seem dead, but Targets are getting restocked with Wave 3 rev. cases. I grabbed a revised torso Beach-Head (what a difference that makes!) at Jantzen Beach Target in Portland yesterday.

Anyone find Wave 5 in the NW? It seems like I saw Willie&Joe post that he snagged them in Eugene, but I can't find that post now.

I figure Fred Meyer's going to be a good bet for Wave 5 sometime this month since the warehouse got one shipment of Wave 4 pre-Christmas and sold out fast, meaning (presumably) that whatever they get next will be Wave 5...

Also, if you're willing to drop an extra two bucks on the buggers, Things from Another World are stocking them, the Milwaukie and Sandy Boulevard locations had Wave 3 rev. as well.

Check your Targets. I found comic packs at the Target on Canyon Rd next to the 217 hwy.

A lot of the Targets have had wave 3 lately but nothing beyond that.

We saw a quick spurt of wave 4 from Fred Meyers but nothing and i mean nothing since. In fact, the last two Fred Meyers i hit had removed the G.I. Joe 25th pegs and you wouldnt even think they carried them...if they still do.

Wave 5 is at Target.

I found remnants at both the Jantzen Beach and Mall 205 Targets. One black Snake Eyes each and a single Crimson Guard at Mall 205 (I bought that one).

I'd imagine they hit Thursday (rats!). It looked like Jantzen Beach had a lot of the wave since they had many many Shipwrecks and hooded Cobra Commanders.

If anybody's looking for Wave 5 still, the Tanasbourne Target (SW 185th in Beaverton/Hillsboro) has been good luck.

Every morning that I've gone in there they've had a fresh case of Wave 5 on the pegs, along with a billion Stalkers and Shipwrecks.

Wave 4 is hitting hard at Targets. Jantzen Beach and Mall 205 both had the better half of a case each.

Also of note, Mall 205 Target was out of comic packs, and the tag had the little silver sticker on it (that means re-order, right?). I hope Wave 2 hits soon enough.

I have only heard of Walmart having wave 2 of the comic packs thus far.

Bummer, I just started a job in Beaverton / Hillsboro area so I am checking that Freddies and the 185th target more. Oh well I made a call to a buddy who checked the St Johns Fred Meyers for me and was able to get all 4 sets. So I can check those off my list now I need to find Wave 2 comic packs, Flash and the carded Wave 4 Storm Shadow and Rocket Cobra soldier.

I just found all 4 of the Wave 3 comic sets at the Tigard Fred Meyer on Hwy 99. I didn't see any left, unfortunately.
Havokss22-I also check the Cornelius Pass Rd Fred Meyer and 185th Target regularly, so if I see anything I'll let you know. I did see the Rocket Pack Cobra soldier at the Target in Sherwood a couple days ago; they seemed well stocked on Wave 4 characters. Haven't seen Flash in a while, but I'll keep an eye out.

Cool dasaffe, I seem to cover the city of Portland, I work near the 185th area, and live on the SE side. I've had really good luck at the Mall 205 Target and Target off of NE Glisan but I haven't been able to check those as regularly lately. If I find anything I'll let you all know.

I work next to the Target on Beaverton-Hillsdale and 107th, all they have are Wave 1 Comic Packs (Minus the "Doc" Sticker), couple of Red Ninjas and Buzzers. It's been like that for Three weeks now.

Also,25th G.I. joe does not exist at the Freddy's on Beaverton-Hillsdale Next to the 217. Been like that since Christmas.

My wife takes the car to work so I can't drive around to hunt for figures, It would make it cheaper the E-stores and E-bay.

Yeah, I live in Milwaukie, and I hit all the Wal-Marts regularly...it's been slim pickings. I've only seen Wave 1 Comic Packs, keeping the pegs nice and toasty, but nothing else. Almost everyone has the re-releases, but the ANY of the Cobra Troops are long gone...it's annoying to say the least. I'd like to hook up with anyone in the area, so maybe we could keep a lookout for each other, 'cause I'll be damned if I get gouged on eBay:)

In my experience Target and Fred Meyer are the only options. Wal-Mart stocks for nothing in Portland proper (though the Vancouver locations seem to be better). And K-Mart might as well not have a toy section.

I ordered Wave 2-08 (Torpedo, etc.) through Smalljoes and only wanted the Ace/Weasel comic pack so I'm good until the Viper/Spirit/89 Snake Eyes wave (woo-hoo).

That said, I'll keep a look-out for you guys.

Comic Pack Wave 3 and single-pack Wave 5 appeared in Target, central OR, probably earlier today or yesterday. It looks like this comic pack release was a revision, because it included a mix of older comic packs. I didn't pick any up, but there was no Tomax/Xamot.

I did see a single FLASH over at Beaverton Target today...The paint on his nose and pants was coming off...the other two figs on the pegs was BUZZER and RED NINJA...blah

I really like the idea of keeping an eye out for each others wants. I live on the east side in Portland and regularly check a Target, a few Freddy's, a couple of Wal-Marts and occasionally the totally deserted TRU (I thought they were supposed to carry toys ;)

Crazy Bones and I already keep in touch over our finds, but it would be great to extend the network state-wide.

As for me, I am looking for all of Wave 5 and the Wave 3 comic-packs. I have been running across Wave 4 on the pegs recently, so if anyone needs any of them, please let me know and I'll see what I can find for you.

Sounds good to me, I have no problem picking up an extra figure or two for a fellow collector if I see them. I'm sure I am covering many of the same places that everyone else is, but sometimes you get lucky.

A few nights ago the Walmart off of 82nd (the older one) had most of wave 4 including stormshadow, but no jet pack troopers.

Current needs are Wave 6 and Comic Book Wave 2... I know who doesn't.

Just an FYI. Ran some errands this evening: Cornelius Pass Road FM has absolutely nothing. *sigh*. 185th Target has some wave 2 & 3 figs & wave 1 comics. Nothing new. Interestingly, Toy'R'Us in Tigard had Serpentor who I've only seen once before and an Ace/WW comic pack. Not much else (Buzzer & ShippWreck, I think).

You might want to hit up Your nearby TRU's Today I scored a Fred/Scarface 2-pack, a Jet Pack Troop, Breaker/Destro and a standard Cobra Troop, in one swoop. There were like 5 Fred/Scarface 2-packs on the rack at once...I wanted to buy two for troop building, but I know a lot of you guys like myself have been searching high and low for 'em...Might as well give you all a shot. I warn you though, it looks like they were retaped, I hope stockers aren't robbing packs for Doc tickets now...damn that would suck...good luck folks!

After not having found anything new in almost 3 stinking months, I found a fresh case of Wave 3 comic packs at Freddy's, scoring Breaker/Destro, Dreadnoks, Twins, Ace/Weasel and 2 x Fred/Scarface! I passed on the SE/SS sets because well, I already have enough SS's and SE's to last me a lifetime.

Seriously, this find restored my faith in collecting, because I was about ready to give up.

Great find there! I'd been scouring Freddy's left and right to no avail...I only need the 'Noks, and I might pick up another Fred/Scarface pack as well as an Ace/Wild Weasel for army building/customizing Bad news, though, the Doc certificate was ripped off in BOTH of my Comic packs...I even inspected the package for tampering too...damn it... Check your packages folks...I love buying the 25th Anniversary figs, but I hate getting screwed over... There are some real scumbags out there...

My Hawk/Scarlett pack that I bought a while back was missing the doc stick and I wrote a complaint to Hasbro via their website. They sent me a pre-paid shipping sticker so I could send it to them and they could send me a brand new one. You might want to do that for yours.

I ended up just returning it to Target since there were so many Wave 1 packs warming the pegs and I got one with a sticker.

I was sure to tell the customer service peeps at Target that the item was defective so they would hopefully not put it back on the shelf and instead return it to Hasbro.

I'll keep my eyes out for more comic packs for everyone!

Portland Wal-mart 82nd and 40th - WAVE 4 was all over the place...Wave 1 Comic Packs

Portland Wal-mart 82nd and 100th - One Serpentor, and the rest was comic 2 packs, Two WW/ACE...the rest was Wave 1 comic packs-

Both Freddy's on 82nd Ave - (Freddy's on Mitchell) I found two CG/CT comic packs which I happily picked up...nothing else exciting here. Except A couple of ACE/WW if anybody cares. The other Freddy's down the street must of had Invisible G.I.joes because I couldn't find them there.

Target On Beaverton Hillsdale - Looks like they might of put out a fresh case of wave 3 and 4 on Wednesday, All that was left was one Air Trooper, Couple of Shipwrecks, Buzzer WOO-HOO!!! (Sarcasm) and wave 1 Comic packs. YES!!! (more sarcasm).

I think the biggest problem I'm having is finding COMIC PACKS that have been tampered with for the DOC sticker. One thing is not finding the figures I'm looking for...I can deal with that...but toy terrorism has got to stop...please!

Man the new comics packs hit and left....Though I didn't score the 'Noks, I'm glad I don't have to be jerked for the Crimson Twins on Ebay... Yeah, I'm sure you guys are tired of my bellyaching about the Doc stickers, but yeah, that whole thing is ruining it for me... I mean, damn, how many Docs do they need to hoard? The scalpers obviously aren't using the ill-gotten proceeds to move out of their mom's basements, heh.

A few months back I picked up the Scarlett/Hawk Pack at Target when it was first released. NO STICKER! I thought I might have dropped it on the floor or under the couch. I blamed myself for being careless. After an hour of my wife and I searching we headed back to Target where an employee at the Customer Service Desk explained that I wasn't the first one to encounter this problem.

I remember when I was younger walking into TRU with my dad. I guess People would bring an exacto knife and cut out the flag points/UPC from the back of the single carded figures. Not only does it take balls but you have to be a completely inconsiderate soul to do such a thing.

I guess some things never change.

Yeah, I see myself doing that too with these. I'm trying to avoid what I did when I collected Spawn and Marvel Legends, and that's get caught up in that whole "I gotta have everything!" mentality. I'm trying to collect what I like, and these two packs just don't have enough of a draw to make me buy. The troopers aren't a color I like at all, and the Ninja pack sticks us with yet ANOTHER snake-Eyes. Thanks for the heads up though!

I thought the Nightwatch pack would be a cool complement to the troopers I have. But it's clear that I'll wind up with at least one more trooper throughout the year by buying various multipacks. I don't need more than 10 of the darned things.

If the set was $20 or $15 I'd be tempted, but at $25, I'll save my cash.

The ninja pack doesn't interest me at all.

I've been pretty good so far. I've passed Serpentor up multiple times, as well as the Crimson Guard/Scarface comic pack. I just can't bring myself to buy either of those.

I obviously skipped the Duke/Cobra Commander comic pack, too.

Yesterday I picked up Sigma 6 Battlefield Cobra commander and Zartan at the Clackamas TRU they had a couple Snake Eyes with timber and storm shadows.

Today I stopped by the Tigard TRU, because I decided I wanted a Sigma 6 Snake Eyes and Timber, they had at least a case on the shelf I got snake eyes and Lt. Stone fig, they had at least 1 more of each plus CC, Zartan, and SS. Also had 1 25th Red ninja pack, I decided to hold off, I'm on the fence if I want them or not. Had some 25th Ann. Comic pack wave 3s and wave 1s.

I stopped by the Forest Grove store this morning and found a jackpot: a fresh case of Wave 3 (rev. 3?) comic packs. I scored a Twins pack and a Dreadnoks pack, which pretty much satisfies my search until the Target vehicles show up.

I left behind a CG/Scarface, another Twins pack and a Destro/Breaker pack.

I know there's a Bi-Mart in Beaverton, Gresham and NE Portland. Google for actual locations. You need to buy a membership to get in but it's $5 for a lifetime sign-up.

I've been going to the Target at Tanasbourne (185th) for a few weeks now. Last week they put out all the Star Wars and Transformers figures on the endcap near the checkstands. But no Joes.

This morning, the Star Wars and Transformers had been restocked and there wasn't even a tag for the vehicles.

Either some lowlife bought all of the vehicles from the backrooms and we're not going to see any in the region (LAME!) or they haven't arrived yet... hard to believe.

Either way, this is why I hate exclusives. They're a colossal waste of time. /rant.

I've been checking stores obsessively for new stock for like a month. I keep telling myself that buying GI Joe figures doesn't count for a hobby, but I never seem to listen to reason. I was very fortunate today. I picked up the Target vehicles at the Hillsboro Target on TV highway. I gave them the DCPI number and a really nice employee pulled a case for me. They were in the back because the store doesn't have a designated floor location yet. The thing someone on here will want to know is that as of 5:45, they had at least 1 more case in back (I think he said they actually had 3 cases, each with a set of the three vehicles). Good luck! Keizer target has about 2 of each vehicle on the shelf by the checkout as of today, and maybe more in stockroom (they started off with 12 cases). In fact, they are always well stocked on Joes since not many people shop there compared to other targets. In fact, Keizer target is almost as deserted as K-mart most of the time...

I snagged a SHARC at the Jantzen Beach Target. I was there around 8:30 a.m. Sunday and they had brought some boxes out to stock them (they hadn't set up the endcap yet). So I'm not sure if they're on the shelves or in the back.

Either way, the folks there were very nice and offered to dig up different vehicles in the back for me if I wanted them to.

Looks like my fears that the scalpers would buy these up before they hit the shelves were unfounded.

Meat-Head: Nobody had ever spoken up before, and I've only run into one other collector who says he rarely gets out to Forest Grove/Cornelius.

I know a Transformers fan who gets out there (though I've never met him) and I think there is one scalper who hits everything in Washington County when new stuff pops.

That said, there's not much of a reason to head out that far from Portland unless, like me, you work out there. Just a Fred Meyer and a Bi-Mart. Neither of which are sure bets for many (or any) joes.

I've been tempted to try to take some of the stuff with the old price stickers on 'em up to the checkout counter and see if they'll honor that price:)

I got my complete case of Wave 7 from Entertainment Earth today! I must have a friend at Habro or something because the figures were, like my Doc, perfect. No rolled cards, no hailine creases, anything. Man it's fun to find stuff on the shelves, but man is it a blast actually cracking open a case:) I'm offically hooked on pre-ordering now!

Yep, I can confirm it. As of 11:30am, the Clackamas Wal-Mart had remnants of Wave 8 2 Vipers and a Cobra Commander w Crystals. I snatched the Vipers, left the CC. They apparently got about 2-3 cases of Wave 7. Dukes, SE, Wild Bill, Spirits GALORE, I left some Vipers too, And the cards look great, nothing bent at all. Good luck guys!

I had a heck of a time finding Wave 7 in Vancouver, WA (I had preordered a case, but wanted a couple more vipers). I'm not too stoked on Wave 8, with the exception of Major Bludd and the Roadblock, but I'm wondering if anyone has seen the new wave of comic packs in WA or OR? I know we are a bit behind, but if we have Wave 8 already, then they could be coming in soon. If I come across any of the comic packs or Wave 8, I'll let you guys know.

Went back to the Wal-Mart I mentioned yesterday to see if they stocked Wave 8, they did but I missed it! Well, I managed to get a Roadblock, which was cool because I didn't pre order him and figured he'd be readily available. Only W8 stuff left is that same Cobra Commander, and a rather viciously BENT Viper.

Pardon my little rant here...

I understand that some figures may get damaged in the shipping process, but this one HAD the work of a bender. The Card was literally bent down the middle and a corner of a bubble was ripped up. Seriously, man... In a simular topic on the main board, there was a discussion about benders and how they're trying to fight the good fight against scalpers...weak. It's BS. Perhaps if they bent everything first and THEN bought their fill, I might think they had some kind of noble cause...

I found some interesting things tonight.
Fred Meyers on Cornelius Pass Road-nothing.
Target on 185th- SE and Duke w/ Jet pack
Fred Meyers on TV highway in Beaverton-SE & Duke w/ Jetpack. So new, their SKU numbers weren't in the system.
Target in Beaverton-SE, Duke, Some Wave 4, and a **** load of Cobra troopers and air troopers.
Target at Washington Square: Wave 4 only.
So some Wave 7 hit a Fred Meyers and Target. I picked up SE, but couldn't find and Vipers or HISS Tank Drivers, which is what I was hoping for.

I left a lot in the stores I just picked up things i need like all wave 8 they had 3 complete sets, i left 2 complete sets. Some of you might not remember, but 9deadjoes gave a shout out that Wave 7 had hit Oregon in the heat of the first sightings. No one was expecting we'd be seeing them that soon and it gave some people the chance to grab some joes early. Scalpers don't do that kind of neighborly stuff.

What's up with Collector's Connection? I know that he says he's got a Hasbro account, but I saw him at the Portland Comic Book show with a massive wall of Target Exclusive vehicles on the day of their street date hit. For weeks before that, he was selling out of full cases on eBay. BS.

He *might* be ordering Waves from Hasbro but he is absolutely *not* ordering Target exclusives. He's buying them at the store. I have a sneaking suspicion that he's the reason we all have such a hard time finding these damned things in the Portland area.

I went to the Springfield Walmart yesterday and found the remnants of two cases: 2 CC w/crystal elements, 2 Roadblocks, 2 TF Flints, and only 2 Python Patrol Officers. The Green Acres Walmart had a CC and w 11th walmart had nothing except wave 4 comic packs (and I got them - hawk and redstar). I need wave 8 and hope my fellow Oregonian Tankers can keep an eye out for me and pick up anything they find. My #1 wave 8 need of course is Major Bludd, but I need everything else too so hit me back and we can work out a trade, thanks.

I reread my post, sorry if it came across a little harsh; I'm having one of those days at work. It's frustrating when scalpers come through and grab everything in sight just because; but everyone here probably knows that. *grrrr*
I also spoke to Collector's Connection at the Portland Comic Book show. He was trying to tell me Hasbro can't keep up with demand and he's only getting 87 cases when he orders 100 because of that. The Target exclusives puzzled me though. He was also selling single figures for $10 and tried to convince me I wouldn't find Torpedo anywhere else since they had already hit stores months before. I held off on Wild Bill and Spirit from Smalljoes since it's so pricey, but knowing that Bill isn't shipping in the next two revision waves and we probably won't see another surge of Wave 7 around here for a while, I bit.

If I hadn't ordered the Torpedo/BACC/RnR wave from Smalljoes I wouldn't have it. I still haven't seen any of those at stores.

Yeah HTS is better for singles...IF you can catch them. I've been lucky enough to catch some good stuff as they update the page, but once it's announced and on the front page, you may literally have A MINUTE to log in and get your order in. I've "lost" a VAMP, and a black HISS mid-order, and THAT sucked.

FYI, Tigard Toys'R'Us just got in a shipment of the TRU exclusive 3-figure sets. I saw the GI Joe ranking officers, Cobra ranking officers, and Crimson Guard ranking officers. Looked like a pretty good stocking in case anyone is still looking for those. They also had the Cobra NightWatch 5-pack, Snake-eyes vs. Red Ninjas 5-pack, and a few comic packs, but no single figures.

Yeah, I agree with you...After the rapid-fire releases of Waves 7 and 8, I got a bit spoiled, and was all ready for Wave 9. But it's good that it's taking awhile; it'll give me a chance for my wallet to recoup:) I'm glad I took advantage of that limit 10 BATs on HTS, I'm thinking scalpers are going to be ALL over that one...and the vehicles... You're going to have to sell an organ to get a break on a HISS and a Trouble Bubble!

I'm new to the site, but have been a Joe collector for years. I really got into GIJOE again when the 25th Anniversary articulated pieces came out. Just wanted to send an FYI to anyone in town that Wave 7 and Wave 9 figs are at the Clackamas Walmart and the Walmart just over in Washington off of Mill Plain Road on I-205. Was headed back home and stopped at these 2 and saw a bunch....2-3 Wave 7 embossed logo Wild Bills and SE also were there....but get this, I didn't see a single BAT at either.....I suspected that BATs would be tough to come by because some collectors are into army building.

I collect 2 of each, one with a mint card and one opener. I ended up picking up my Snow Serpent mint card and Snow Serpent opener. There were 3-4 BBQs, Hawks (bomber jacket), black Storm Shadows, and Bazookas at both Walmarts that I mentioned. All the cards of these guys had flaws that I couldn't live with so I'm just going to wait for my online stuff to come in since I paid extra to have minty pieces. Good luck everyone....hope all the collectors get what they need!

If anyone's looking for Vipers, there were plenty of them.

185th Target looks like they are starting their reset of the toy isle they had one each of the DVD packs (weather dominator and the part 1 mass device) I picked up the mass device set. They also had 2 of the serpentor chariots vehicle sets and a lot of the 12 inch joes. No new comic or single packs available.

At the Feed Meyers off of TV highway in Hillsboro they had 2 each of Falcon / Nemesis and Tripwire / CC no Destro packs. I left them there I have a case on order from Entertainment Earth and I may have an extra sets if anyone is interested.
