After some assistance from a helpful mod, Thanks Shogi, the Montana Sightings thread is up.

Ok, so the situation here is pretty bleak. 4 pegs full of wave 4, although no Storm Shadows left at 1 of the 2 Wal-Mart's here in town.

No recent sightings of wave 5, other than the 1 full set I found almost 2 months ago at Target.

Wave 6 was found at the local TRU, got my Torpedo and RR, but no sign of Armored CC.

The TRU exclusive 5 packs are in ample supply here.

No sightings of the Ranking Officers sets.
No sightings of the Target exclusives.

Waiting on wave 7 anxiously.

Don't know what I'm expecting, I don't think anyone else is on this fourm is from Montana, but it's worth a shot.

2 full sets are on the shelves here.

No sign of wave 5, 6, or 7.

No sign of the Target exclusives...yet.

But aren't they supposed to hit on the 13th anyway?

At Bozeman Target.

Picked up AWE Striker and Hiss. They had 2 Night Specters that I passed on.

They also had a couple of each Hooded CC and Spertentor.

Found Wave 4, 5, and 6 today at Wal-Mart.

On the pegs when I left were:

Scarlett
Gung-Ho
Duke
Destro
Air Trooper
Cobra Commander w/Helmet
Roadblock
Crimson Guard
Rock & Roll
Torpedo

Bought torpedo and left the rest.

Hope wave 7 hits in the next couple of days!

Also checked Target, K-Mart, and TRU...nothin except Hooded Cobra Commanders and Buzzers.

Well, TRU had the TRU Exclusive 5 packs as well as the 3 packs, but I'm not collecting those.

When's the best time to look for figures at Wal-Mart? Late PM or early AM?

Today at Wal-Mart they had Wave 7 on the pegs!!

Found a few Dukes, no variants.
1 Spirit
2 Snake Eyes
2 Wild Bill

Wave 4 remants found as well.


Grabbed me a Duke as well as Spirit.

No sign of Vipers or HISS Tank drivers.

Glad these finally showed up.

Headed out tonight to check the Wal-Mart and Target on the other side of town. Wal-Mart...same Wave 4 figures that have been there for months. I was like, "Damn, man, when the hell are they gonna get their shipment?"

So I left, feeling like this was going to be the same round trip as always, with nothing to show for my hunt.

But then it happened. I arrived at Target and found a full set of Wave 8!!
...and a lonely viper.

I reached for the kick ass Snake-Eyes figure and Cobra Commander with the crystals for the M.A.S.S. Device, so sweet!!

I was holding onto Roadblock and Major Bludd when another guy came around the corner and said, "oh...you beat me to them!"

We laughed, talked about the struggle of looking for the joes, and I asked him if he wanted Major Bludd or Roadblock. He was like, "yeah, sure, I'll take Major Bludd!" So I gave Major Bludd to him and I put Roadblock back on the peg. Everyone else from Wave 8 is/was left there on the peg, as well as that Viper. Turns out he already had a full set of Wave 7 and 8 and was just looking to get a second Snake-Eyes. He's clearly one of the many I'm competing against here for the joes.

Anyway, he was a nice guy and I found 2 figures I was really hoping to find.

It was a good day.
