Masive Clearance on the Sigma 6 line at the target in Abington

As i hollowed out a giant log to use for travel down this treachorous river, it dawned on me that my fellow Joe's would have their figures released around this time.
I packed some essentials, left camp and proceeded to hike about 5 clicks N-NW towards the town center.
I finally reached my destination and in the midst of all the hustle and bustle of American commerce....there they were!

I got my Cobra 5-pack and all 5 single, carded figures at a WalMart in Fairhaven, MA.

The Dartmouth, MA WalMart had nothing as well as the Toys R' Us. Target in Dartmouth also had nothing....

strange.

btw - i grabbed the last of all the single, carded figures. Only one other Storm Shadow and (2) Snake-Eyes figures were left.

The 5-packs i grabbed (1) out of (5) Cobra sets and there was only
(2) G.I. JOE sets. i didn't grab any of the Joe sets because the boxes were just to messed up. I'll wait for the next time. My buddy, who's been working there for approximately 13 years said, "hey, those came in today..." didn't inform me either, that bastid!

The KB Toys in Braintree (Both) & Hanover & the TRU in Kingston Have the 5 packs

they have filtered everywhere now in SE Massachusetts.

as of today:
Target has maybe 2 SS, 4 SE single carded and 2 COBRA 5-packs and 1 JOE 5-pack.

TRU in Dartmouth has 4 COBRA 5-packs and 1 JOE 5-pack.

Wal-Mart in Fairhaven has 1 SS and maybe 2 SE

Wal-Mart in Dartmouth doesn't have the single cards or any 5-packs..

the funniest thing was when i called Wal-Mart in Wareham...they transfered me to this chick in "toys" who was like..."the what?"..."we don't have those and we won't be carrying them"

the super-Wal-Mart in Rayhnam/Taunton, the guy was like "we have no 5-packs and the single-carded figures are out of stock but we should be getting more in a few days"....very professional and knowledgable.

The new figures were already scooped.

Hey im in New Hampshire not too far away at all, they do have wave 3 here as well as I just came back from my local Target and a guy with his girlfriend decided to fill up the whole basket with them. He literally only left a Snake Eyes and a Storm Shadow which was bent really bad. In his basket he had 2 Zartans, 2 Fireflys, 1 Cobra Red Ninja, Stalker and CC ---> ): I literally asked him if he would let me buy one of them right there in the store and the guy was like "no im a collector " oh well. Also , I told Outback there is a Wave 2 at target in Somersworth but its a hour drive for me and im all set, They have all 8 I was told and if its worth it to you you may want to check it out.

I am in VT(Rutland) and i had to do the hour drive to Glens Falls, NY, but i scored a full set of wave 3. Boy, was it nice to find new joes on store pegs! I just wish i could find the Cobra legions pack(anyone help with one or two fo them?)

I haven't seen wave 3 for a few weeks. I saw it back in October at Walmart but haven't seen it since. It looks like Target/Walmart in central Mass are due to restock within the next week.

I saw three or more Cobra Legions packs at Walmart in Brockton, MA near Westgate Plaza. Other than that just Stormshadow and Snake-eyes warming the empty pegs. What's with all the other military toys taking up way more shelf space. Oh I also saw new Sigma Six Cobra Comander and Destro in the new Target in Easton, MA in Haniford Plaza. The Silver & chrome CC comes with an awsome Serpentor-like glider & Destro comes with money and gold bars. Happy hunting.

Target in Easton started marking down their 21st Century figures $3.39 & Vehicles $9.99. They had two empty pegs of 25th Anniversary figs.
Walmart in Taunton had not been restalked yet. Every price on every peg was blank. Hopefully they will adjust their shelves soon.

Found a lone wave 5 Snake Eyes at the Target in Warwick,RI. Checked the other stores in area and just found waves 1,2, and 3 plus wave one of the comic packs. All the Wal-marts in RI and southeastern Mass still haven't done their resets and have no joe anything. I figure when they do they may get wave 5 single and wave 2 comics in. Seems to be the case around the country. I work overnight at Wal-mart so I keep an eye out. As soon as I see something I will post. Rumor has it the reset may next week. Good luck hunting.

On a whim I decide to go the local TRU that has nothing since befor Xmas, & they were down to 1 Legion pack & 1 Lady Jaye as of this week (still), and today... I finally found a COMPLETE set of WAVE 5!! A fresh case & a FINALLY happy ending!! Thanx TRU!!

My Wal-mart, that I have been hitting for almost 4 weeks straight on lunch break, (minus weekends or a day here or there for weather etc.) had an unusual lone Snow Job on Friday with the Jaye-Bird that has been there since November, & the wave 1/2 comic packs from a few weeks ago. Most likely a return as not even a Hooded CC from a wave 5 case was left.
So today, low & behold, after my 4 weeks of persistance I came around the corner to find they has finally restocked...

Literally FLOODING the 3 pegs was more Zartan's, Fixed Stalker's, Red Ninja's, & Buzzer's than anyone would ever want, oh yeah & the Snow Job was gone but Jaye was still there...her lousy paint job has kept her unloved for far too long... -_-

Thank GAWD for TRU & the case of Wave 5 I found there a few weeks back, otherwise I would be going super-seiyan on that Walmart.

Checked that very TRU today and they recieved a case of wave 4 with only the Joes remaining & more Joe & Legions 5 -packs. I have all the figs, but it would be nice to see some of the newer stuff breaking the pegs...

Our local Kmart had the wave 2 comic packs. Thanks to PoweredConvoy I now have a fixed crotch SE/SS set without the horrible leftover plastic flash that I have seen on all the fixed hips on this particular set... which is sparse at best out of the 150 I have seen on the pegs.

hey guys, new to the board. thought i would post what i found today at the dartmouth wal-mart. i pretty much have been avoiding going there because there has not been anything there for a while but decided to go this morning. i found 8 that i previously have not found and they were the only 8 left. destro,ss, roadblock, scarlett, duke, air trooper, gung ho, and the original cc. i was lucky enough to walk into the kmart in fall river last week and grab flash, snow job, and a crimson guard.

The last couple weeks have been exciting. Bennie's in Mansfield had two of each 2 pack, CG Scar face, Twins, WW Ace, Damaged SE SS. Target in Easton had RR battle CC Torpedo Snow Job Destro and more. Toys R us in Brockton just put out a few cases. I picked up an extra Battle CC. No Target vehicles but it has been an expensive week.

Noticed that Stop&Shop did a toy reset at their stores. They are now carrying 25th joes. The store in Somerset,MA has the newest comic packs for reg price of $9.99. Singles are priced at $5.99, but they didn't have any yet. I see it as a good thing cause its just one more retailer to make joes available. Don't know if every store will follow trend but its worth a look if your at a S&S. Good luck hunting everybody.

Found good stuff at Swansea,Mass Toysrus. Had Senior ranking sets as of 10:30 am. Also have 1 SE vs Red ninjas set, and 2007 wave 2 revision set ( SE w/ Timber fixed crotch and two peg joe stands). Got myself one of each Rank set and the one Cobra Night Watch set they had. They had at least 3 of each Rank set when I left. The Wally-mart I work at also got one case of 2007 wave 2 revision set. I would avoid going to the Framingham Toys R Us as they had 2 sets of the Crimson senior ranking officers and 2 sets of the blue shielded Cobra Commander and I bought them, one for me and one for my cousin. I wouldn't trust what they tell you on the phone. 90% of all retail employees are lazy. They probably didn't check or just don't know whats in the store. They had a sidekick of single carded joes and at least 3 of each 3-pack when I left at 10:30 am. I don't have a camera so I can't post any pics. Gotta definitly invest in one. Good luck hunting.

I went on the way home from work today (from Fall River around 3:30) and they none of the exclusives. I already have the Night Watch set, but I want 1 of the Joe ranking officers. All they had were some singles, a few comic packs, and the 5 packs as far as 25th anniversary. I wish I could have gotten there earlier, but oh well.

I went to the one in Warwick, RI and all they have for the exclusives is 1 of each of the 5 pack troop builders.

I found my 3 packs last week at the Springfield TRU. I called first and was told they didn't have any. I was in the area anyways so stopped in and low and behold they had at 3 of each. As well as a single carded Flash. I bought 1 of each, and left the Flash. Though I doubt he is still there.

When you call a TRU you get the returns desk and they are always too lazy/busy to walk across the store and never really seem to care much about you not wanting to waste your time driving out to a store with empty shelves. Even if they did look, would they know the difference between the new 3 packs and the old ones. I may be generalizing but I feel that the service industry has gone down hill.

Hadley Stop and Shop had a Snake Eyes and Spirit. I grabbed them though. Springfield Walmart had Serpentor, Lady Jaye, and Beachhead among others, no wave 7 though.

Made my last trip of the day to Walmart in West Boylston and same old same old. Target on Lincoln St in Worcester had garbage, as always, though I picked up a Zartan that I never got, Target in Westborough had a single Night Spector with Grand Slam in iffy condition, so only make the trip if you plan on opening, plus they had a lot of same old stuff, only fig I haven't seen in a while worth mentioning is Lady Jaye and then the Walmart across the street I snagged four Vipers and they still have two each of Duke, Spirit, Wild Bill and Snake Eyes.

man...I just missed it. I left as soon as I saw this. I got there around 10:30 and they were already gone. I checked TRU Swansea and they didn't have much except the exclusives. BUT...

I found a viper on a crushed card at Walmart in Seekonk...and wave 4 comic packs! I got all 3 and they had at least 1 full set left plus extra Shipwreck packs and Firefly packs. So the trip was quite successful after all.

I just went to TRU in Brockton. A couple two packs Hawk and Duke ones. A bunch of three pks Blue CC and Joe command, and of course joe 5 packs. I picked up two Indiana Jones Cargo trucks and a Jungle Cutter. But two get one free. The figs and Narnia figs were all buy two get one. I couldn't believe they did it on the vehicles to/also.

The older associate with the hearing aid asked me if he could help me. I told him I was looking for single pack Joes and he just pointed out where the Joes were. I told him they don't have enough dedicated space for single packs. Its just a screen hanging off the end cap only has 6 pegs and two were for two-packs. The others had no description just empty J hooks. Hopefully a couple of cases will show up soon.

I didn't even try the Walmart around the corner. It's always a mad house, especially when you have to buy something. I took my dog for the ride and didn't want to leave him alone in the car again.

wow...I'll pass. I would never pay that much for a figure ($10 / figure). I'm all caught up except for wave 8. I do have the wave 8 CC already though. I'll find them eventually one way or the other. I'm not worried. I just hope the distribution improves as that would really negate this type of stuff. Some stores seem to get a case or two and then when they're gone, they have nothing for a while...at least when we check.

Just got back from the Walmart in Leicester for a non-GI Joe run (needed a shelf and some dog food haha) and took a peak at what they had. Managed to pick up Lady Jaye, which I never got, and they had a Wild Bill, Serpentor, Torpedo, Beachhead and a Cobra The Enemy hanging on the tags. Not much. All Wave 1 comics.

I didn't see Torpedo out there for long when I got mine so if anyone is looking for him, that's where you can maybe find one...

I live in the metrowest area and usually hit stores from Framingham out to Worcester and from Marlborough down to Plainville. I also sometimes work in Boston, Walpole and Providence, so I occasionally hit stores around those areas as well.

I was in NH and Maine this past weekend and acquired all of Wave 8 with little issue. Also saw some decent remnants of the Wave at the Bellingham TRU today.

No sign of the new comic packs... and for them to hit any of my local walmarts will be tough... they all seem to have restocked recently and are overflowing with older product. The Targets seem less jammed so hopefully they'll turn up there soon... I'm eager to get them but with gas the way it is, I just can't justify going out of my way to hunt anymore, so I have to be patient.

They had 4 - 5 of each, but no Bludd and no PP Officer...very odd that someone would buy all of those, but leave the rest including 3 vipers. I could understand maybe taking all the PP Officers if you army build, but why take 5 Bludds? Or why would 5 people take Bludd and not the rest?

I checked Kmart in Cranston tonight. Nothing but a couple old comic packs and the 5 packs. I also checked the Walmart that I scored at last night and they were wiped out except for a Viper and a wave 7 SE. I checked TRU in Warwick and they had Buzzer, Serp, a couple 3 packs, and a ton of the exclusive 5 packs. Walmart at the RI mall had 2 air troopers and a crap load of comic packs. I go to Walmart right here in my town. They get them in fairly regularly (about every 10 days or so). So glad I was able to get the CP's for wave 4, especially Duke/Red Star as he is only one per case I think. Still looking for Bludd, Roadblock, SE Parka, Baroness, Wild Bill, TF Flint, and PP officer x3. Wow, I guess I need more than I thought. I have to check out my Stop & Shop as they were expecting more, and then I am off to Waterford south of here to check Target, Walmart x2, TRU and Stop & Shop.
Out of curiosity, anyone else find Wave 8 Vipers without painted buckles and Cobra symbol on the belt? I found one and am trying to figure out if its a variant. One other person I talked with has one too, but thats all.

Been hitting up Wal-Mart in Warwick as well-came up with Spirit today and the new case assortment featuring Firefly, Zartan, Duke, SE, Viper and Commando SE.

CC wave 8 was part of that, too and guess what? I went there on Thursday and it looked like those guys hadn't even been touched! Wow...I wish I were rich and looking for an army of Vipers because I would have bought the 5 or 6 that they had. My Bludd and PP Officer came in on Thursday though...w00t!

Coming home from Foxwoods this morning I hit the Warwick, RI Toys R Us and found two fresh cases of the new vehicles on the shelves.... 2X of each set.

I grabbed 1 of each set plus both RAM/Trouble Bubble sets that were there. So left as of 11:45 AM were 1 HISS, 1 VAMP and 1 Armadillo/Chariot.

And, to top it all off, my meager blackjack winnings from Foxwoods paid for them all ! Sorry RI people... didn't mean to raid your area, just dumb luck on my part I guess. Blame it on the GPS my girlfriend gave me for Christmas that led me to that TRU.

Also, is this the first sighting of these at a Toys R Us ? If so, I might have to take a pic of them with the receipt for the front page before I crack them open.

I've got everything else up to this date (minus the red ninjas pack that I don't want). It's just that I always check when I'm near stores and I didn't today. I don't usually go out with that as my sole purpose. As I said, congrats. I've got them on preorder for only $5 more plus the shipping so minus sales tax so I know I'll get them at some point. I'm pretty sure I preordered that the day it went up as well.

edit: scratch that, my preorder is only $1 more since they're $15.99...at TRU anyway. My preorder is for $64.99 vs. $63.96 plus tax

About four cases of Wave 9 at the TRU in Dedham, MA at open this morning. All were present and accounted for except for one Hawk and two of the BATS.

Grabbed one each of Hawk, Ninja-Ku, Bazooka and BBQ, plus the last two BATS and two Snow Serpents.

What remained as of about 11AM was two snow serpents and a heck of a lot of the other figs... 2-3 sets worth.

It's been two days and two awesome hauls for me.

I got my set of 4 vehicles from smalljoes this morning. My g/f found 2 cases of the vehicles in Swansea TRU a couple hours later looking for something else for her brother, but I told her to leave them since I only want 1 of each. I PMed a few people here and someone was able to get them. :)

I'm in central CT right now Chiesher, Meriden Southington. The Kay-Be Toys had a full peg of joes $8.99. Odd assortment. Picked up Spirit and Balck SE. Left Hooded CC, Shield CC no element, Fire Fly, Serpentor, 2 Vipers, Buzzer, Stalker.

Went accross the street to Target and nothing. No new Indy, no Joes, no Star Wars. At the register was the toy coupon and an explanation of how and why they would not accept it. They claim tampering. That's all for noe. End of line.

I managed to grab a HISS Tank at the TRU in Framingham today. It was surprisingly the last vehicle left. Everywhere else I have been, they just have the VAMP and Serpentor sets.

Don't feel bad there is no WAVE 9 in Southeast, MA. I did find the DVD Packs, 12" Figures, and Vehicles at Target.. Get the DCPI numbers and have them check for you... Best advice I can give you and the best help... Anyone in Rhode Island find anything???

I used to be in Westerly twice per week. Where do they sell JOE's? Is there a Wal-Mart there? Or are you venturing into Connecticut? I know Pawcatuck is right over the line, and been there a few times but never seen any stores. But then again it's been a few years.

I saw the Wave 9 repacks in Chelmsford, but nothing else. The vehicle packs seem to be popping up everywhere, but they aren't always easy to spot (Wal-Mart tends to put them down by the floor or on the top of the shelves a few aisles down). Most of the Targets in the area seem to be slow with their resets, so that may be delaying the vehicles and DVD packs there. It looks like stores are only getting a case or two in at a time, but they're selling slowly enough that they'll probably be piling up like the Indiana Jones vehicles in less than a month.

Well after many a trip (I look almost daily on my lunch) I finally had some luck scoring WAVE 9 in MASS for ME & my BROTHER'S collections.
Last Friday:
WM CT 1 = wave 4 comic packs
WM CT 2 = wave 7 + 8 pegwarmers
WM CT 3 = wave 9 Torpedo (grrr) + wave 7 pegwarmers
TG CT = wave 7 + 8 pegwarmers
SS&S CT 1 = 0
SS&S CT 2 = Wave 8 Cobra (-Python Patrol Officer)
SearsES CT = wave 7 complete
WM CT 4 - wave 7 & revision pegwarmers (LJ etc.)
KM MA = 0

TODAY:
WM MA 1 = wave 9 x 2 (minus the 2 troop builders & BBQ)
WM MA 2 = wave 9 x 2 count them 2 COMPLETE CASES YO JOE!!
Finally after having the wave 4 comics, DVD sets, & all the vehicles for weeks, & way to many trips in between... my brothers & I FINALLY have wave 9!!
