Duke (My opinion)

Overall, the idea of Duke is great but, execution is lacking. I have a few issues in the Quality Control/Assurance area. Basically it sucks. For this kind of money we should be getting a Soldier Story quality figure and detail in parts.

Headsculpt- I like it better than I thought but, oh wait each ear has a discolored small mark (looks like from the helmet going on/i haven't put it on yet)

Shirt- I like the fit but, the grey velcro pads should have been tan also and the jump wings are glued on crooked,

Padded Molle Style Belt- Ends are cut/not finished, belt material slips through buckles too easy making it difficult to keep it snug on the figure

Rifle- It is great to have something other than an M-4. The XCR is cool except for the fact that the flash suppressor is squished a little.

Backpack- A sling bag is a good idea. A lower profile one would have been better though.

Pouches- I don't like the pouches with plastic clips, fabric lace through type hold better. 40mm Grenade triple pouches are too big for the actual grenades or the grenades are too small, take your pick.

Water Bottle- H2O bottle is whacked out. WTF, Why not a camelback instead in the backpack or such.

Boots- Again with molded boots/feetpeg type. I think some nice lace ups would have looked great.

Pants- Good to go not much of an issue here

The water bottle is hooked using a carabiner. I also swapped out the holster, pistol and boots

Some people are just hard to please I suppose. I love this figure. Right otu of the box he's cool as hell. All the accessories, pouches, belts, pack and so forth are all great. I, for one, love the use of clear plastic strips to attach the pouches to the MOLLE gear. Makes more sense, especially since little belt a loop systems would have driven me nuts trying to attache them. All the weapons are top notch accept the laser rifle which I don't care for. Great nod to the Real American Hero from my childhood but it would be my only complaint.

I toyed with the idea of adding some different pouches to hold a radio or whatever, but then I figured I'd be doing the original figure an injustice by doing so. Not that the pictures provided here aren't flipping awesome. I'd just probably change it all back because I'm anal that way.

Does Duke's shirt fit super snug on the body?

I wanted to switch this out with a Hot Toys body (possibly for a more beefier look), and was wondering if Duke's shirt has enough clearance to allow a fit?

Can anyone confirm this on their Duke, especially around the arms area. Is it super tight around his biceps areas? Or is there some clearance?

Anyone have any recommendation on better knee pads for Duke? I am not digging the stick on knee pads that comes with the fig.

I love mine- he is super sweet- Got Cobra Trooper last night- want to take some pics soon of a knife fight with them.

I can agree with some of the remarks though. The shirt seems a little too loose and I am not overly thrilled with the plastic clips- do think they will work it out though.

I don't have any of these sideshow joes, but from the pics, I'd say that Duke looks pretty freaking amazing.
