They really do. PoC is going to give me a lot of new definitive versions of characters, namely Beachhead and Firefly.

I have yet to find a real gripe about anything we've seen.

These all look great. I will have multiples of several of these. I'm not usually a MOC collector, but some of these I'm going to keep MOC because they look so sharp.

No one has mentioned that Snake Eyes, who looks like the best version of the character since the all black ME Wave 6 version.

Maybe the face-tats make it look different enough to get away with it, or they got a better deal with Vosloo and it was cheaper to use it than make a new sculpt.

I'll be passing on most of these. They don't look that great. Just more of the same crap I already have. The only one that really stands out is the Jungle Viper. The others are pretty lame & boring. They should have stuck with the 25th/ME line. If I wanted a fashion show I would collect Barbie.

I thought they were going to change the colors on Desert Zartan's face/hood to "classic" colors in addition to changing the headsculpt. But thank god if they are keeping the original intended appearance, since it looked a LOT better than the one at Toyfair.

These guys are just like ROC figures for me . I'll pick and choose the very few i want. CC,Jungle Duke,Recondo,Dusty,BeachHead, and Zartan.Those to me are the coolest.

Some great out of the box thinking here, especially the Jungle Viper. The Duke, not so much. Look too much like those guys from Contra. The Firefly looks like a straight-up terrorist. Good stuff overall.

All these figures are freakin' awesome. The whole wave is just sweet. Too bad that they will never see the light of day in retail here in The UK, looks like its BBTS for all my Joe needs.

These are mostly cool. I even like the packaging. It's great the brick font is back and it's even gone platinum. I'm back to buying cases from BBTS. Recondo is the worst one IMO. His outfit looks like it makes no sense. Like a Spy Troops or VvV design. Hopefully he'll be better in hand.

I love the new "Star" logo especially compared to the lame-ass movie "Hawk" logo. The new Star logo feels like GIJoe and is the best designed yet.

Hopefully they don't make every other figure a Duke, SE, or SS. I'm already pissed at that W1 SS. That design is one of the best there but I wish it was someone else. It just needs to be a color other than white. I wanna troop-build it to be some sort of arab-ninja faction.

Not a big SW fan, but Dusty reminds me of princess lea disguised as a bounty hunter in jaba's palace.

Snow Job, SS and SE look cool, but I really don't need another one of those.

I've only recently become aware of Alley Vipers and have picked up a squad of ARAH style in blue. They are some of my favorite post '87 o-ring Cobras. Can't wait to get 3-5 of these!

Jungle Viper is unbelievably cool and I'm guessing will be nearly impossible to find at stores. I'll want at least 2 to use as snipers.

Zartan may replace 25th as the go to Nox leader if his head scarf stays on tightly (looks loose in the pics and I'm more of a player than displayer!)

Duke, Recondo, and Beach Head are all excellent! Been waiting for a Recondo update and this one is better than I thought. I hate Duke figures, but this one says "bad ass soldier" to me instead of "paper pushing weenie" that ALL previous Dukes look like. I'll have to give him a new code name. Beach Head and Res7Pak BH will go nicely with 25th version to make up a nice squad of Special Forces.

Firefly's head is awesome! Glad to get something different to distinguish him from the other ones. This is the best FF since V1.

Anyway, except for the Alley Viper, these are easily passable. This line seems more like an off shoot to Venom vs Valor than anything else. Soon we'll be having cobra soldier hybrids with wolves and such.

The only other figure I'll buy in this line is if we get an accurate Cover Girl.

Overall, some look great and some that I was looking forward to are a disappointment.

Again, Beachhead looks like he's about to cry and the Firefly head looks unfinished. The only 2 I would consider purchasing are the Snow Job and the SE's. The only one I'm purchasing is the SE's, haha.

The stuff they showed for later though, that was more impressive.

Each case comes with 8 figures (2 Awesome Troop Builders, 4 Who gives a rat's ass figures and 2 Kinda cool figures) Well if you sell them all for the same price, eventually you have a bunch of Who gives a rat's ass figures that no one will buy and you haven't sold enough figures to pay for the cases you bought from Hasbro let alone make any form of a profit to continue your business. By charging more for the "In Demand" figures, they are assuring that they'll make back enough money to cover the cost of the cases they bought and then later they can clearance out the who gives a rat's ass figures for $1 and everyone will buy them up like they were crack.

Unlike us, the businesses don't get to pick and choose which figures to sell out of a case, they get stuck with the crappy figures too.

Exactly. I know of one particular Joe dealer who literally went out of business because he was stuck with so many "filler" figures that he simply could not get rid of. I actually went to his storage facility once, and it was amazing. I don't even remember which figures they were, it was from the Spy Troops line, but this guy bought all these hundreds of cases of figures, sold out on three two-packs out of the case, and then was buried with all the others. He couldn't afford to restock the cool figures because he could only plan on selling the best figures of the assortment, and ended up stuck with so much overstock he basically choked on it.

Lots of folks really don't understand what the small time dealers have to go through to carry these lines, and I totally understand the pricing discrepencies. It makes perfect business sense.
