While I think it's cool that they listened to the fans, I really hope the original modern sculpt is still available. I think the camo bala on the larger figure looks silly, JMO. It's a testament to the care that they put into these figures that they tried to match it, but it never really works.

If I remember correctly, the exclusive was the IED. FF is really the ultimate in their line so far. Can't wait to get one.

This is really steering me toward getting a Firefly. I also like the Beach Head. 2 of my favs very well done. I'll wait and see if he shows up at my local Hastings when he finally hits. If he's there, then he's mine.

Holy shat! I can not wait for him now (got me an exlcusive in my cue)...sweet he looks perfect now...why can't Hasbro do these things with thier own material when people have issues with it?? All they have to do is make them like this in 3 3/4 scale, apprently thats just too freaking hard. Keep it up Sideshow, you definelty will get every penny I have if you keep making figures as badass as this. The CC throne was amazing, Now I need Beachhead to stand next to Firefly and that will look incredible too! I can't wait to see when they do a Crimson Guard! I will be totally broke lol...

Having just gotten Duke ( my first Sideshow Joe ) I can't WAIT for the rest in the pipe.... Flint, BEachhead and of course, Firefly.

Honestly, I didn't need the camo head as a buying point as I Was already sold the minute I saw him. I will probably display him with the dark gray camo head as originally shown. Will look better with the dark gray sweater I think.

Either way, Awesome figure and line all together. Now for some pics of the up-coming Commando Snake Eyes and the women of the Joe-verse.

My oldest's Birthday is this month, so along with Mother's Day, my Sideshow money will have to go on hold til next month. :(

I'd been getting extra accessories for my Cobra Officer, but I think next month being Father's Day I will treat myself to the two Cobra Troopers I need. Then I'll take a couple months getting some extra accessories for them. Once I get the Sniper, and outfit him, it's onto Duke. Playing catch up sucks, hard. maybe I'll hold off on the extra accessories til I get caught up on all the figures. I'd like to be caught up with the figures I want before Christmas.

Atleast I'm skipping SE, SS, and Flint. I wasn't going to get any Joes, but Duke and Beach finally got to me.

Can't wait for Firefly, the teaser photos of him way back were what got me into the Sideshows, and 1/6 in general. Possibly the coolest figure I've ever seen. They sure seemed to put alot of love into his design.

If you are interested in getting a backpack please let me know and I will set you up with one they are $30 shipped and include all parts shown the backpack, opening tool box, C4, smoke grenade, and working straps. So just a recap all parts are removeable from backpack and included in the final set. The straps are adjustable to make a proper fit to your Firefly figure. Ok here is an update on the backpack I found a good source of 1/6th scale straps and buckles so decided to improve the look of the backpack. I added buckles so it is easier to get the backpack on as well as a strap and buckle to hold on the C4. There are straps added to the smoke grenade and the small pouches as well. I also gave it a quick weathering job. If you are interested in getting a backpack please pm me because I would like to offer these up to you guys. It will look great on the new firefly coming out or your own custom built one. I tried to make it as close to the original design as possible. On to the pics.
