are the Cobra figures from sideshow toys real Cobras, they look great, feel great, look completely authentic, but I bought the Cobra Trooper 12 inch, and its copyright 1996, and its got the spectra style helmet that dates back to Cobra when Cobra was a full flunge terrorist Group, can you imagine that, the figure I bought recently, after the 25th line came out, and on his ass, it has copyright 1996 Hasbro, freakin, then you look at the sideshow toys, they are dope, way dope, but the fact is, they want nearly 150 bucks, for a figure that aint as authentic as the Cobra Trooper 12 inch, not that I ever seen that Cobra trooper style in real life, cause if they is real I wouldnt tell you about it, but they just aint the same thing as the Cobra Trooper 12 inch, funny thing that pisses me off about him, his pants say, GI Joe brand pants on them, freakin, itd be easy to get some real camo on them right off the bat, perhaps even some Cobra camo that would match the figure, some stuff that might freak you out, really tho, the sideshow toys figures just dont seem the same, maybe they are some old Leichstenstein Guard or something, you know from some classified inteligence, but you aint Leichstenstein!

serial, they have a heavy price on their back dont they, just a simple compare and contrast of the appearance of the figures right, you know, dimensional economics, a strictly here by buisness, there by goods, when where what and why behind the reality of the figures!
So, you're comparing Sideshow to older 12" figure lines?
I'm not quite sure what it is that you're asking... or telling.
But to answer the first 9 words of your paragraph; yes, they are real Cobras. Sideshow's goal is to blend classic iconography with modern gear.

well
I am comparing it to the Cobra 12 inch that has just as of recently come out, made by hasbro, recently, after the 25th line came out, the 12 inch figures, then sideshows came out online, I paid nearly only 15 bucks for it, compareable to 150 bucks for the sideshow toys figure, but hell yes, you ask me, anything to do with Cobra to someone like me is worth it, Im King Cobra man!

Not rying to sound like an ass but, wrong forum dude.
I know you are trying to sound cool, but we're cracking our brains trying to figure out what you are saying. I don't see a need to compare a toy that is like dated back in 1996, it's like saying how expensive the ROC toys are now compare to the o-rings era.
Look at the quality of the plastic, fabric and mold they are using now for the Sideshows compared to the older hasbro ones. You'll feel stupid trying to compare things from different era as SS already said they are modernizing the Joes from their predecessors.

I think he's saying the hasbro one looks more like the traditional cobra trooper (Cartoons, comics, 3-3/4" figures) than the sideshow ones.

That was a heckuva run on sentence, king. I don't quite understand either. It seemed like you were comparing the Sideshow Cobra Trooper to the Hasbro Cobra Trooper. However, the comparison in quality just isn't a fair fight. While Hasbro figures are designed to withstand the punishment that my 1-year-old son doles out, Sideshow designs their figures for better articulation and better detailed/scaled weapons.
As to the dating on his back-end. Did you buy a newly produced Cobra Trooper or did you perhaps win an old one from Ebay that was made in 1996?

Remember in the news how they always say, we should have seen the signs that this guy was going to go crazy and hurt people. Is this guy giving us a sign here?!

I bought the Cobra Trooper at Wal Mart, 15 bucks or such, I bought it at the same time as I bought the 12 inch Storm Shadow, he came with the M-16 and a Colt .45 or something, a modern helmet, and a grenade laucher of some sort, but to say that it compares to the sideshow toys, it realistically doesnt, the sideshow toys do look Cobra, but they are from a different unit or something, the thing that is very authentic looking about one of the sideshow toys Ive seen on the internet is, the AK-74, on the non officer one, that gun has a story behind it, the Cobra with the M-16 doesnt, but anyways, terrorists dont kill Americans with AK-47s, so your saying right, off the bat, the Soviet Union, as far back as GI Joe and Cobra date back, to of when a date I dont have, all I am saying is, on the 12 inch Cobra Trooper I bought from Wal Mart, sometime in early 2009, 2008 maybe it has a copyright date on the figure of 1996 Hasbro made in China, the Sideshow toys, look to be a Cobra Trooper, that has more of a era looking asfexion feature appearance, of like a hard line Storm Trooper of some sort, as well does the Cobra Trooper 12 inch I bought at wal mart that is made by Hasbro, it has a modern combat helmet, that is blue, and has the Cobra logo right on the helmet! the AK-74u that the Cobra Trooper from sideshow toys in the pictures ive seen on the internet has all the authenticity it needs in my opinion, that figures looks realatively authentic! but if you wanted to hear from me, its like a Texas Chainsaw massacre type of action figure compared to the 12 inch Cobra Trooper I bought at wal mart
