View Full Version : How Do I Make Stickers Sticky Again?

So, I had some minor flooding recently and as a result, humidity built up inside my 25th Stinger box and... hey, the stickers are mainly see-through sheets now.

Is there a glue people like to use when a sticker peels or is no longer usable? I figured super glue, but then I thought it might be corosive or leave a visible film behind.

Any tips are welcome!

I would try those spray can adhesives, such as this:

3M Super 77 Multipurpose Spray Adhesive: strong-bonding, fast-drying glue that you just spray on. Think it up, glue it down! (http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/3M-Super-77/Super77/)

Should be the most similar to the original stickiness of the sticker.

Replace them with new/repro ones.

Look into fabric glue... It's usually washer-safe (as in waterproof once dry) and won't be affected by moisture. I've used it before with mixed results.

Just get clear and brush it on with an old brush, but don't glop it on.

Deffinatly don't use superglue...it will leave a haze. I tried using it on the Fang missles and other small round bits like on the AWE striker, and not only does it not work well, but it leaves a chemical burn/haze and if you don't spend 45 minutes each piece trying to smooth it down, your stuck with upraised plastic bits... kinda' sucks.
