Welcome to Gyre-Viper and Chief_1's overly-complicated custom contest!

There are 3 categories:

1. Manimal - custom build your own Manimal. It can be a re-imagining of a classic, or something from the depths of your imagination...

2. Movie Character - Any movie, any character. Silent Bob? Large Marge? The Waterboy? Go for it...

3. Unproduced 25th/ME - Any character from the G.I. Joe universe that hasn't been made / remade in the 25th/ME styling yet. Footloose, Billy, RoC Breaker in RIA, etc...


There will be 3 winners picked from each category, and one grand prize winner that can be from any category.

-The figures must contain G.I. Joe figure parts, but they may be from any era, and may contain parts from any other toy line or whatever you have lying around to kit bash with.

-While category #3 must be in the 25th/ME style, the other 2 categories are wide open for ARAH O-ring, Sigma-6, VvV, 12", ME or any style of Joe figure i may have missed.

All entries must be created for this contest. Any customs already created and posted on the Tank or at any other site are not valid for entry.

NOTE: While Gyre-Viper is involved in this, it is NOT a slaughterhouse contest. Entries done in a overly silly manner will not be considered ( crazy Large Marge head = OK / The cast of The Godfather made from Mr. Potato Heads = Not OK)

I personally am very excited about this contest.
It's been a long time in the making.
This will be a chance for Cdt Weasel to stretch his
meerkat paws and finally get to be on the other side
of the fence which I know he's been dying to do
since we started the Slaughterhouse gig. So watch your backs
cuz I know he's got some pent up glory in him.
As for prizes... they're not all GI JOE.
Hopefully none of you are doing this for prizes.

I personally don't think the prizes are super amazing
but Chief assures me they are ample.
And if you're a customizer who isn't a particular fan
of myself (or Chief for that matter) please know that you
are more than welcome to participate.
This is isn't about us, it's about you as a customizer.
Anyways... I'm really excited and hope a lot of you
participate and have fun with it.
And I hope you all submit at least one entry into each

There is no limit on entries. If all of you are willing to take the time and effort to create an entry, we will be happy to consider it for the contest.

That being said, i think at this point i should mention that there are no "team" entries, so if you have multiple characters that share a common theme, please enter them each seperately, not as a group... i.e. If you do the Maginficent Seven.... Please make seven entries...

If this were your choice, and Lincoln was played in the movie by Tim Roth, you would want to started with the hulkbuster tim roth head, and turn him into lincoln just like they did for that movie.

No it's Blowtorch body with arctic doc legs modded the Red off the arms and the black off the legs also switched knee caps I got the tip from Mandingo Rex for the base and went my own way from there makes for a great paintless airtight (except you have to paint the green)

Ray is built using mostly GI Joe Pit Commando Parts, the Proton Pack, Ghost Trap and PKE meter are all kitbashed using lots of GI Joe parts, random Star Wars parts and some Apoxie Sculpt.

Slimer however was completely sculpted by hand.

OK Guys this if my first entry into the contest. Of course it fits into the Movie Character Category, so without further ado I present to you The Real Ghostbuster Ray Stantz with Slimer.

Ray is built using mostly GI Joe Pit Commando Parts, the Proton Pack, Ghost Trap and PKE meter are all kitbashed using lots of GI Joe parts, random Star Wars parts and some Apoxie Sculpt.

Slimer however was completely sculpted by hand.
