For the second time in a week G.I.Joe Headquarters was on high-alert. Six days ago a Joe fighter squadron had disappeared without a trace flying near the region commonly known as the Bermuda Triangle! No warning. No messages. One minute three aircraft are being tracked on radar and the next moment they're gone.
Six days later and the alert is something so unexpected that even Shipwreck is stunned to silence. One of the jets has returned... but the sole surviving pilot, Brad Armbruster-Ace, just doesn't "seem" right. He mumbles something about his suit being damaged as he's rushed by Duke and Covergirl to the medical wing. He has no answers for them when pressed on the whereabouts of Slip-Stream and Ghostrider...
Shuffled away from the bustle of well-wishing and curious Joes, Ace finally finds himself relatively alone. I was originally gonna glue a piece of polystyrene painted black with 'censored' written on it, but that stuff just doesn't seem to like paint.

Yeah they are built tough. I'm using mine a bit differently than you did, so its all good. I need to come up with a paint scheme, but I keep coming back to IG colors. Also not knowing the scale there, may be the same character but differnt toy lol. (Mine has the pop out brain and playdoh).

I may be in the minority, but I love Tiger Force, and making just one or two Tiger Force figures is just silly. Hasbro needed to make more. I went with Recondo because to get the figure right it couldn't be done with just a simple Recondo repaint, some parts needed to be swapped to make him accurate to the original mold.

Here's my first entry, a bit of a softball as I take a break from more complicated stuff.

Unproduced 25th Red Laser...unmasked!

I know everyone's done a Laser, but I've been wanting to try one that wasn't a straight repaint, or a modernized cyborg deal like I've seen, while retaining what I feel is the essence of the classic design that I really dig. I kept the flared gloves,since he's such a 70s design, and they scream 70s anime villain to me...or something. As a bonus, he's got his ugly mug revealed, from a single comic photo I found, with sculpted bandana, sideburns, hair, and ears. I tossed in the sword since the bandana reminded me of Japanese WWII pilots who carried swords as well.

It's Spirit, oddly enough. Somehow the Native American's being decendants of that land bridge crossing from eastern asia made sense. That, and Red Laser looks pretty ugly, like WWII era boxy headed charicatures, and the ROC Storm Shadow looks downright dashing.

Well, it was him before I chopped and sculpted the bulk of it, but much of the face is still his. Interesting discovery: a big reason Spirit looks kinda dumb is Hasbro painted the bags under the eyes, rather than the recessed area just above.

X-3 there are all kinds of mutants. if you watch the bridge scene where the brotherhood is rushing the guard towers, one of them appeared to have a black mark over one of her eyes. I took this to be Domino. So if that is what you are asking.. then Yes if you want to consider that her Cameo.

Presenting my first custom the Crimson Command Cobra B.A.T
it is made from the following items

Defence of Cobra Island Bat - head, arms, backpack, weapons

destro - briefcase

the shade of red used is Testers "Insignia Red" unmodfied straight out of the bottle

i learned alot making my first custom
#1 the type of paint means EVERYTHING
#2 its better to paint it then assemble, then to put it together then paint it.
#3 priming it means more coats of paint!
#4 2 words for you "spray" "seal"
#5 building a coat hanger figure stand saves alot of repainting
#6 cut the paint in the joints with a razor knife. so it doesn't flake off after u bend the joint.
