I should have qualified my statement. I haven't seen him yet around here. I made my earlier comment based on the many reports by other tankers who have reported finding Major Bludd and Sgt. Flash figures in the latest batch of revision cases.

Ahh. I was just trying to figure out what to keep an eye out for. I know I'm picking up the TF Animated Swoop, but everything else is a maybe. I should buy the new SWAT vehicle and Red Rescue chopper, but I want to see where my finances are after the new Joe stuff (SRO 3-packs, Planes, Wave 10, Second pair of DVD sets) and Halo 3 Series 3 are over with.

Went to the TRU off 410/Blanco Rd. in SA and nothing new to report, unless you need any of the SRO Blue Cobra or GI Joe sets. They had like 8-10 of each. NO new SRO packs Also saw several comic packs, 2 of the Tripwire/CC one. They also had 1 or 2 of the Night watch/Ninja 5 packs. As for single carded, mostly the same ones JetPack Duke, PP Officer, Rock and Roll, Blue Baroness. No new waves. I also saw there building a Target across 410 from the TRU. They will open in mid-October. That should make hunting easier in that area.

I dont think any TRU in the area that has gotten their first shipment of new 5-packs have seen a restock of them yet. TRU Frisco should still have plenty of the old 5-packs.

Nothing new at Target around me. Found the Target version of Viva Pinata:TiP, but that's it.

Big score at the Ridgmar TRU. Got the 2 new exclusive 3-pak of the joes, Wild Bill, Ace and Sky Duster and Torpedo, Deep Six and Cutter!

They did not have the damed Iron Grenadier one though :(

Manager said they had every joe in the buidling on the Isles.

They had huge issues pulling those 2 paks on their registers and almost denied me purchasing them. Tried to give me some lame exucse they are not supposed to be on the shelf but they gave in and sold them to me eventually. Told them nicely I will be spending A LOT of money with them as this stuff comes out and the manager even told me to check back this Saturday LOL, so I guess it's good to not blow your top to quickly.

Finshed up the evening checking out Target's in Weatherford, Lake Worth, Keller 377, Eastchase I-30, and Mansfield and not a single rattler/conquest, no place on the shelves either. I figured out how to use their instore price checking thingies without numbers on them to pull up DPCI but every store read-

Hit the Walmart's around those targets and only saw BATs, Flashes and Major Bludd's in Weatherford and Willow Park. I am not so into the BATs that much so I left em all there. Seems Snow Serpents and BATs are back on the rise.

Finished off all my comic packs with Scarlet/Hawk, Duke/Redstar, just need the red ninja pack, hopefully I can find them up at Frisco tomorrow evening. All in all it seemed to be a good day but I got 2 awsome pilots now who need aircraft :(

No biggie, Sundays and Satrudays are about the only day I can get out and run through most of the area, work week is just too cramped. I need to get out and do something, and figure hunting is a lot of damn fun in ways (cept when you have gone a million places, spent 45$ on gas and end up with nothing). If I am really in the mood to do so I can hit a loop from Weatherford to Gainsville to Greenville to Terrell to Waxahachie and complete the loop back home, takes about 14 hours total, spend about 8 mins in each store. I have had more luck with just going to look than waiting on reports or using the look up system. Been doing this since early June, just have never posted wanted to see if this stuff was for real and if I ever would have info that would be usefull to you guys.

I too beleive there are a lot of scalpers who watch this site and can beat us to the punch. I don't collect this stuff to go right back out and sell it on Ebay. It is probabley going to be one of the last oppostunities to have all of these figures I had as a kid and chose to unwisley destroy them all over my younger years.

As for the bats there have been from 1-2 in each of those remote stores, I figure they have only gotten 1-2 boxes with that revision in overnight from Saturday I guess, first I had seen them but only in Burleson (none left) Weatherford (2 on the pegs) and Willow Park (2 on the pegs). Walmart on 287 in west Arlingotn on I-20 was my last stop last night and nothing new.

Talked with a Target employee a bit ago at the 121 & Glade in Colleyville store and he made some intersting comments. Stated that they show to be "active" but they had no stock. Got more interesting as he looked at Wautauga and the NRH store that the one guy got them from and he said they were both showing "negative two units". I found that strange but I guess if they did not have them in stock and sold 2 before thier cycle counts then it would put them in the negative by 2 if that is accurate assumption.

He asked why don't i just order it online and I told him they don't have them available there either. He then says "well thats really stupid, why show we are goign to have them and not sell them". I said "I would like to know that as well" LOL funny stuff.

She found them in her computer and went back and got them.. unfortunately.. the new DVD packs share the DCPI numbers of the Wave 1 packs.. so I came up empty.

On a good note though.. they have a spot on the shelf marked for the jets.. asked her to check that DCPI number and she said they are showing out of stock as usual.. so she checked all of the Target stores within 25 miles. Showed NRH at -2 units.. like Crimson said. Asked her if any are on order and she said they will more than likely come in sometime this week since they just put the tags on the shelf for them that day.

So all we can do now is keep our fingers crossed.

Thanks Nirvana for the heads up on the Red Ninja pack, only needed one and it was sitting there at the Frisco TRU when I finnally broke through traffic to get there at 8:45pm last night LOL. They only had that one pack, looks like someone got the Nightwatch one. Had a Crimson Guard SRO 3pak but I have like 4 of those already and 5 CG 5 packs, my CG arny is complete, now just need some CG vehicles :(

Yeah Magik, I went back out there last night, think before you posted and did'nt find those BATs, I moved them to the bottom peg and all the way to the back in a futile attempt to "hide" them LOL. No BATs to be found now anywhere once again.

Hit Azle and Mineral Wells last night just to rule their Walmart's out on anything knew and they had notta. If your into Indiana Jones though they had TONS on 2 different rows of the 3 3/4" figures, some I have not seen before like the Zombie warrior things and some from the Last Crusade line. Wish the zombie rmasks would come off easily or I would make some Elite Skull CG Guards!

Just about all of the Walmarts I went to yesterday had that Bumble 3 pak Snow Job was looking for, not just a handful but like 2 palletes of them 5 high 4 deep 2 across! Wish they would do that with joe stuff :( Also had the deluxe Bumble one thats a pretty damn huge transformer....If that had been Starscream, Thundercracker, Baricade, or Lockdown I might have been swayed to get one for $35 haha.

Checked the Target look up site for a huge perimeter around the DFW area, all show to be Out of Stock on the Rattler/Conquest, going back to sleep, GL guys.

Whenever Hasbro gets around to their mass release of the Rattler (probably in Python style), I'm sure we'll have plenty of custom Rattler options pop up. Hell, I wouldn't mind a Crimson Rattler, myself, in addition to jungle and desert styles.

Hey Guys. I'm new here. I've been collecting Joes since i was a kid. I think it's great how you all help each other out in the hunt. Since i myself go to several stores daily i would like to help. I live and hunt in Austin and the surrounding areas.

I just got back from the Round Rock Walmart, and they had obviously just restocked. Lots of BBQ, Hawk, Bazooka, and Black Storm Shadow. They had one of Major Bludd, Flash, and a Snow Serpent. No Bats however, and that is the only figure i don't have. Must have just missed them. Hope this helps.

I hope they havnet changed something. They even had the price tag on the shelf...I asked how it could be discontinued already when it hasn't hit the shelf and the manager said with exclusives they reserve the right to put them online only and may be the case.

I usually just buy from Ebay, but recently started selling off stuff to make room for more stuff. LOL Most of my problem is getting anyone to communicate. When I win something and use paypal.. I still message the person selling it, so that they know I have a pulse. I have messaged people after they win and out of everything I have sold.. only one person answered back. and I always message a second time giving them a tracking number. In the last 2 weeks, I have sold 5 items and and followed up on the tracking myself and know 3 of them have gotten there stuff already and none have left feedback. the other two are going to take awhile.. since they are in Canada and China. LOL

Notta today, target rattler finder finds nothing in the whole state, have tried Ohio and Cali too just to see if the site will ever say "available/limited availability" vs. "Out of Stock". Nothing to note.

Made a trip down to Grandbury and Cleburne last night. Cleburne had a single revision 9 box and it had a single very nice MOC BAT in it, so tore the box open bought him and left the rest on the pallet. Had 1 snow serpent 1 major bluud and a flash in there also.

They have some serious issues with getting this stuff out. Where are the Fan choice ones? I would like to go back and get some of those to have a SE and Timber/Firefly to open. Wave 10 is still not out and now all were getting is approx 1 box with 6-8 figures barley of wave 9 revision.

As much money as I am spending in gas right now I am about to just start paying $14-$20 per figure online and just order it and get back to a normal life LOL. I give in...

They according to most targets I talked to along with the Wautauga Target show to be negative 2 for that DCPI so both planes are not there according to their system. Since they have not acutally counted them into their inventory and asigned a row/isle at the time they were sold, they show negative 2 since they had no quantities to start with to begin with accodring to their inventory I specualte.

Up to 4 bats, 3 open and 1 sealed and on my wall. I only want 4 of each too, of the viper/cobra forces (only expcetion is my CG army which I still have boxed up, got 5 5packs, 3 3paks and 4 individual ones). I always imagined the signature named Joes as being the ones who always fought Cobra, don't much care for having an army of "greenshirts" of anonymous soldiers, takes away from the mystique of them being the special mission force they are!

Something I was wondering if any of you guys know is why does Ross get the Cobra Legions 5 pak? I just found a second Joe 5 pack (scarlett Duke SE Roadblock and Gung-ho) and nabbed it, I love getting 5 characters for 11.99 thats insane modding fodder. But where do they get these from? I know Ross is like a second hadd down place for retailers but I have never seen the Cobra Legions pack anywhere else. Wish they had more stuff! But I figure the other stuff is just not availble for them, but why these paks exclusivley?

Overstock. Probably leftover from Target that was either sent back to Hasbro (and resold to Ross) or to the Target warehouse (then resold to Ross). Why can't I ever find one of these magical Ross stores with the Legion packs still in-stock? Every where I check it's a bust. It is hit and miss. I dread even going in that store but once someone her mentioned it I thought I would try. Took 6 Rosses till I actually found a Legions. I thought it was a joke at first but then there they were. I have seen them at Glade 121 Ross in NRH, one on Macarthuer in north irving right off of 635, and now I can't remeber the other ones, been to so many damned stores they all blurring together. They are not always where you would think they would be.

The last joe 5 pack they had I walked thier bleak toy area and did not see them then as I turned to walk out of that to area off to the left near the women's shirt racks was a modular shelf that had them sitting side by side on top accross from the toys.

Also, to those looking for Night Landings and '84 Rattlers, I have 1 complete night landing and 1 night landing that is missing a couple of parts (the gun, shovel, radio, etc). I have 2 nice Rattlers but only 1 has the complete weapon set-up. I'll have to check the landing-gear for them. Also, both have 1 pin missing on the gun turret canopy. The other pin holds the canopy in place when closed. The best Rattler has no stickers applied but I have the sheets and also the Blueprints. I also have a Wild Weasel if you need him.

I am going off of memory here. If anyone is interested, I can look at them in more detail and send pictures.

Prices: I could sell the complete Night Landing for $13 and I could make sure the Rattler with no applied stickers has most/all the necessary parts and sell it for $40. PM or e-mail me (e-mail is better) if interested. Local pick-up is preferred, but I will ship (for actual shipping cost) to our friends in southern Texas if desired.

Found out a tid bit of info tongiht at the target on 121 and Glade.

You guys probabley know this but in case not, if you see a grey circle sticker on the $24.99 price tag for the "Large GI Joe Vehicles" price sticker than that means they do not have them. Tonight when I had a guy scan it to see he said "dosent look good" and I asked why he said that. He pointed out the grey sticker and said that when those are in place it means that section has been checked for stocked items and if a grey sticker is present it tells the inventory people to stock that item when it arrives. Thought that was pretty usefull, however...

I will still use the DCPI look up and ask :)

Truck is empty? You a unloader or stocker?

Driver/unloader. I work for QNT which is the warehouse owned by QuikTrip. Just run as two seperate entities. We have trailers brought down from the Warehouse in Belton Kansas and then do local deliveries to all the stores in DFW. 3 trucks and 62 stores. Will be 64 by Oct. Trailer usually gets here between 7:30pm -9pm We hook up, then head out on our routes and don't come back till the trailer is empty. We also have guys who do back hauls during the day.. stuff that the warehouse needs to restock on. So when the guys drop off our trailers, they pick those up and head back to Kansas.

Pretty sweet job. Get payed by the Miles, Wieght and stops. Get a fuel and safety bonus each month. Full medical/Dental/Vision, 401K...Vacation time. And make about $75,000 a year. Not too shabby. LOL

Well now that you know all about my job.. ; )

As far as sightings go.. pretty much bust everywhere last night. Saw a lot of remains from wave 9 revisions.. Major Bludds..Bazooka..Flash.. etc. etc. No Bats or wave 10.

The lady said two guys showed up and bought everything they had at 8AM when the doors opened. I guess that's what "available" means.

Several Austin area Targets showed up as Limited Availability on Schuman. SW Target at Mopac and 290 showed up as available. Rushed over just after 9:00 and they had one Conquest and one Rattler on the shelves. Picked them both up. I'm so stoked. I only need one of each, so if i find more i'll help you out. There are still a few Target stores in the Dallas area with the planes. I have my set and my nephew's set secured. A friend has an extra set for my air force buddy. I didn't have any luck finding one for the local on his honeymoon with last three stops. Hopefully someone else will have better luck.

Whoa! Major score! Way to go. So, from all the stories I've read thus far, including my own experience, it looks like each store only received 1 Rattler and 1 Conquest. I do hope they plan to re-stock soon.

Just checked the Schuman site again. Target at 290 and Mopac in Austin said available when i went, which i assumed meant they had one of each. I got the only two on the shelves, but now the site says limited availability. Which i would assume to mean that there is at least something still available, just not on the shelves.

There was not room on the shelves when i was there to display more than the set i got. So jump on it guys. Call them up. They might just have something in the back waiting for you.

Thanks to Lo'Tek, I was able to take an early lunch and run up tto the Lakeline Target in Austin/Cedar Park. Picked up the only Rattler & Conquest they had out. Scanner was broken so I could not check to see if they had more in the back.

I think they use the same dcpi # as the wave 1, I also thought the same thing but it was wave 1. I did manage to snag the Rattler/Conquest today. There are a few stores close buy but could only check 2 and only one store could put thier hands on them. I will have to wait till sunday or monday to check other stores. Most stores are going to be closed tommorow and not unloading trucks because of the storm, it was crazy at the ones I went to!

I have used that site many many times. In fact i used it today to find my Rattler and Conquest. But for some reason it is not recognizing the ASIN now. Maybe since 3:00 P.M. or so. I was doing so good today. I found planes. I helped out others. I picked up the clear matte spray paint I needed. Then I stopped back by the house since Hobby Lobby didn't have the flat black I needed.

Someone had tried to break into my garage because I left the screened window (the garage is designed to look like another room on the house) partly cracked because there's a shelf on the inside which is good for drying painted items. A neighbor scared them off in time, but it was the shelf I was letting the IJ cargo truck parts air dry in front of. The jackass knocked down and crushed the main cab section and messed up the doors/dashboard section, too. $20+supplies and two days worth of work down the drain.

Don't know if it's been posted in this thread already, but Target.com has the jets back on the site. I put myself on the "Sign up to be notified when this item becomes available" list. With the hit and miss stocking they're doing, and with scalpers clearing out the entire store of jets, this seems like the only way to get one. Hope it works....

I have yet to see them email me about them even they they were available today, why I been zip code bombing the hell outta their look up site on find it at target till I see some store saying Limited or Available.

I have 2 extra ones, I am starting to doubt whether I really need them or not. They are rather large, and unlike Magik :) i have no Aircraft carrier cept this one below :( no where to put them and I am not about to hang them from the ceiling. I am also doubting I can actually do a good enough job of painting them to create a crimson guard verion. I am affraid it will f'in ruin it and they are to awsome to do that to them. Also disappointed the pilots have like no accessories and have no figure stands. The canopies are also very dark so you can hardly see them in the planes. Lets see if theya re going to be reatrdley rare and if you pick one up let me know either way. As buyers remorse sets in over the next few days if you don't find any I can possibly hook you up. I'd rather have a consortium with you guys and be in this to win it over those who wish to sell this stuff on ebay for proffits.

Nothing was taken, luckly. 10 years ago the garage was broken into with a lot of stuff stolen. I mostly use it now for excess Halloween/Xmas decoration storage and all my heavy tools. Bench grinder, heavy wrenches, chainsaws, etc. Trying to take any of that stuff will make you give up after the first load. I had my small fit, fixed the damaged screen, re-locked the windows, and added back the obsticles I usually have there. I have some nice old school rat traps sitting there for the next idiot.

Probably the same clowns that were breaking into homes over here a couple of months ago. The police doubled their route through the neighborhood in addition to the homeowner assoc. security patrol. If they're back, they'll be caught this time.

Saw an X-30 today if anyone is wanting one let me know its still on a shelf at a store that thier instore scanner says does not exist by the way. Targets DCPI site is not working as of right now so I can't see if its showing that location to still have them or not.

TRU in Ridgmar did get a SRO shipment but it was the old stuff. They had 2 nice sets of brand new Crimson Guard SRO packs that had really updated paint, they looked to red though, but nice in any case.

I will be out on the West / South West frige Walmart's and Target's later, if I see anything, well let yall know.

Where are you guys at with what your looking for Joe wise? I know Magik wants BATS, we all need wave 10 stuff, I am still looking for any re release Timber + SE that is supposed to be the fan choice best of stuff. Odd that hasn't shipped yet either.

SE w/Timber & Flint are in several different revision waves coming out soon so I don't expect to have a huge problem finally finding a Flint and SE w/Timber if it's anything like the Wave 8 Rev shipments a couple of weeks ago. I might pick up two SE w/Timber sets just to repaint Timber.

Re-painted as in a better coat. It is hard to describe you would have to see it to get my full point. They stand out more red than crimson, the ones I have gotten are more matte crimson where these are a tad more brilliant.

Hopefully that makes sense..

Netted 4 Snow Serpents (one of which has become my new Arctic Serpent Commander) and What I beleive to be the last BAT within a 200 mile radius of the metroplex....brings me to a whopping 4 BATs and one left on the card...

A lot of the stores had new pallets but nothing Joe related, guess well have to see if anything shows up later in the week. I hit the Ridgmar West Fort Worth Stuff earlier and to Magik's point, nothing else to note.

I am not getting this "fixed crotch" vs. "diaper crocth" stuff, I can't tell a difference since some of those characters I do not have open versions of so I have no idea what one is vs. another.

The TRU in Irving is a freaking circus with the store clsong thing going on, the place is a comp'ete mess, shelves all over the place,toys scattered up and down every isle, looks liek a bomb went off LOL.

Found another BAT at the mesquite I-30 Wal Mart, but nothing else.

K-B-toy outlet in Terrell had a ton of VvV figures but only of 5 types. They had my Xtreme Detail German Officer so I got my trench coat weeee.

Walmart in McKinney has that revision case(forget which one it is) with Flash and Major Bludd. I picked up the Flash on new card, and left the Bludd for whoever wants it. Same DVD packs and vehicles. LOL, I had planned to do the same thing with one of my Legions CC's. Great job on the custom. I like the CG Tank driver as well.

To paint the Hiss, i would take it apart as much as possible.. wipe it down realy well with Alcohol to get all the oil and such off of it and just use a Matt or Flat Krylon crimson color. Don't buy the fusion stuff.. it has a habit of tearing up some plastics. Learned first hand. LOL

then just pray Krylon Crystal Clean Matt finish on it afterwards. Usually what I do with all my customs and each has worked out so far.

got back to houston today to find that 75% of my apt complex had been destroyed by ike but by the grace of god my apt was in perfect shape,also i had my electricity. went to target and scored the jets(finally) all in all it was a great day,cept for the fact i had to wait in a line for 3 hours to get gas, my heart goes out to those who was greatly affected by ike and thanks to the city of dallas for great hospatality and your efforts in helping houston recover.

Magick- Yeah I almsot bought some red Krylon Fusion tonight LOL good thing I didn't.... I would probabley have a melted HISS in front of me...Battle Damaged HISS anyone?? Got hit by a new GI JOE BFG20K...They don't seem to have a good red color, do any of the hobby stores have anything better? Or just get the darker of the red tints in Krylon?

Need to clean up the Drivers head though it was a rough draft really, wasted a HISS commander head on it, screwed it up a few times so it looks rough under the gold paint :(

Just wanted to say my awesome wife just scored the Rattler and Conquest for me right here in Houston!!!! She went up to the Target at Eldridge and 1960 for some stuff for us for after the Hurricane (we did ok, some shingles off the roof and I have to fix part of my fence) and found them!!!

Things are already looking better around here!!! Hope other Houston Tankers made out ok from the storm.

It basically is just using the selection tool to select just the main body area, then use adjust contrast/color hues till you get the color your looking for.

Then you can use the smudge/blend tool to remove decals you dont want, find decal pics online and use selection tool to outline those and copy and paste at will.

Just takes a few tries and youll have what your looking for.

As far as sightings go, nothing turned up last night except paints, brushes and food :(

Finally got my Rattler!! Spent a good hour putting in the stickers but it was worth it! The thing looks rad! Now I just gotta figure out where I'm gonna put the thing!?

Has anyone found that Wild Weasel doesn't really fit in the cockpit that well?

Here is the tank he speaks of ! (Thanks for the compliment) I used the krylon fusion but it was not red. Wal Mart has a color that is crimson. Works great, but be patient. Spray in fast motion from about a foot or so away so that you only get a light coverage. Let the first coat dry 24 hours, then add a second coat. I stripped everything off the tank that would come off and masked off the treads. Good Luck, Crimson!

Figured I would post it while I was posting pics. Also threw in a couple of Cannon Fodder's ideas that I stole. He made a short sleeved Beachhead that I had to copycat. It is lower Shipwreck arms and Cobra Scarface hands. Simple, but cool!

I can see the fusion working on the Hiss, due to it's harder plastic, but not sure I would try it on the Rattler. But if you want to keep them uniform, I suggest using the same paint for both. Which ever you decide.

Nice Airtight.. As one fo my favorite figures, i plan to make this one, but just haven't found that look I want.

BTW, any options for better plane stickers that are cheaper then cobrastickers? $14 is a bit much for a sticker sheet.

My cousin (for now on known as "the idiot" within the family) stayed for Ike and got himself a nicely flooded house. I've checked the random Walmart/Target between DFW and the coastline as I go up & down, haven't seen any Wave 10s yet. Does borrowing an F-350 count as a "haul"? ;-)

I was barely able to pick up some for myself.. As for the stickers.. I only put the insignia and control panel stickers on most of my stuff. Not much into all the numbers and "not a step" type stickers.

Probably not. Those clearanced for 2.50, so without a receipt that is what you would get. Your receipt is only good for 90 days after purchase.
