Got real lucky today, stopped by the Lewisville Walmart on Main St around 10 AM an a hunch feeling and scored the last Fang/Claw, and Firbat they had.
Left the AWE as I already had one. No new comic packs or wave 10 though.

I actually went in there not really looking for them either. Kind of was on the hunt for Buzzer or Zartan as I don't have them yet, I looked down and saw the Fang, My heart skipped a beat and I snatched it fast, then I saw Firebat behind it and got even more excited.
I love finding stuff like this in the stores. To me it is more fun then getting them in the mail.

i understand you on that .. walking over to the joe section and seeing something new i guess if you order by mail you know you will get it in a couple of days, but when you find it at a store it is more fun cause you dont expect it

In the case of Wal-Mart, and Target to an extent, could the culprit be the multiple revision cases being put on the pegs? If these are warming, the store might not be ordering anymore until these move. The Wal-Marts at Ohio/121 and Coit/Bush have had more or less the same stuff for the last 2 months.

No, because I know several WM/Target stores that have been putting out revision sets almost every week and the stock still moves enough in those 7 days for a new box or two of figures next restock time.

The WM that was suppose to have the new TF figures Snow is looking for didn't have them. Doesn't even look like they put them out yet. Nothing new for Joe, even for revision sets. Found Cmdr Cody today and some cheap DVDs, so it wasn't a total loss.

The Wal Mart stores in my area aren't getting any movement on figures, so they aren't even putting out new revisions. One store doesn't even restock joes but once every 2 weeks to a month. they have plenty of room, just refuse to stock. Same goes for the Target near me. They have had the same 25th carded Buzzer and Stalker since the line came out. Only thing new I ever see there are CP's, but they keep getting the wave 5 revision and no wave 6.

I have pretty much given up on searching for now. figure that when the reports start coming back in about new stuff or if I just happen to be in the store for other reasons I will look.

Heres the thing, we still have several at least 2 more sets of revisisons to come out too! We wont be seeing the new figs around here for months. I am pretty much done with it since we are hardly seeing the revision kit with Wv1 Flint Firefly snowjob stalker and such out this way. Only in northern Dallas or extreme south east Dallas have I seen this wave pack or any of the new vehciles. Still no sign of any wv3 vehciles or CPs either. On my way back from houston today I hit everything Walmart related and NOT A DAMNED hting cept IG Destros and IG bullshit.

So I am going to pre-order waves 11,12,13 from every site I can get at least one set from and be done with the hunting piece unless I just happen to be bored and near a store (have 4 pre orders for those waves now so it is just sit back and wait time now).

Kinda glad this may all be coming to an end soon when the movie launches. Have had my fill of wasting gas while Sam Walton laughs at me for doing so!

Toywiz, BBTS, Small Joes, GI JOE club and that is about it for figs. Other than them TRU, picked up 4 SRO IG packs from them but so far they have been the wrost at shipping, had 2 boxes squished and the main box was perfect they came in so the product from thier warehouse was damaged, asswhipes!

I ordered from HTS and got one with strapps and got my first from 3rd planet on 59 by Kirby and it didnt have the strapps. I went by there thursday and they were all out of the new dvd packs but they did have a Bazooka Trooper TF Duke and I think Crock Master from wave 10. They also had the exteme conditions packs there.

We did not do a good job of descibing how to actually meet up, like looking for a needle in a hay stack. I guess we shoul dhave descibed what we were wearing but I fiugred we would bump into each other, there were not that many people in there....

Anyways, found me an F-22 Raptor at TRU and man is it freaking awsome! Initial setup of the pilot is a little tight, but if you turn your figure just right he'll fit in and then there is plenty of room for him to fit. I highley recomend it, the plastic is as hard as the plasitcs found on the Rattler and X-30.

Gotta figure out what I am going to do with it now, will post some pics later.

Also, Nirvana thanks for the Flint stash, after knicking the bottom shelf off and almsot tearing down the whole wall dispaly I was able to get the figure off the top. They had decided to stock a TON of those stupid dallos cowboy figures right above the joes, was a pain in the ass to finnally find him up there LOL, but he was there!

I also found the new 12 inch joes at northern Walmart, if anyone wants location PM me. It was Cobra Commander (UGLY AS HELL), Beachhead and Duke....

Nothing on the other fronts of new stuff...

I grabbed 10 loose Python CG figures from that seller on eBay. I'll grab two on card when (if) they show up here and customize two of the loose ones then. The seller dropped their prices to $4.99 each. I'm pretty sure they were $8 or something + shipping when Magick grabbed some.

We were there for well over an hour. I think air & I left about 4:30 giving up on you two. The three of us were sitting at the table to the right of the entrance. I went around when I got there, but only saw air and that odd group of pool table players. Had you gone around, you would have noticed the two printout sheets air had of the GI Joe figure waves. ;-)

Solid was sitting at the bar and I guess noticed the GI Joe sheets or something. LOL.

Not so fast!

We sat at that table for a good 3 hours, ordered drinks from the chica in the Long horns shorts, saw the referee chica in the very busty top and such. Only group over on the right was a large group of about 12 people and we knew they were not who we were looking for since they were cheering the game on and heavily drinking. I think they would have slit our throats if we asked "hey is your name Nirvana and do you use Hisstank?"....

We saw on eother group of 2-3 people right near the front on the right but they never looked up from the table the whole time. Much less looked at anyone who came which was only like 1-2 peeps

At least you found the Flint figure. I think air was going to find Beachhead and Stalker at WM Prestonwood after she left. I just went home and got ready to go out to dinner after shooting the zombie pics. Still need that other webgear one day, Magick.

O.k. so things weren't fully planned out.. happens when first meetings are trying to be planned. Main focus is always the Where/when...then on to other things.

I work for QT.. If I am out and about I am usually carrying a QT sling bag with me at all times.. I walked in looked around a bit then went back outside where I ran into Crimson sitting in his car.

We both came back in looked around afor a sec, then went and sat down over by the tables. Since we didn't know what anyone other than eachother looked like, it was hard to tell. I figured that the people sitting by the front door were Nirvana and company, but wasn't fully sure as it seemed more like a lunch meeting. LOL

Oh well live and learn.. The next meeting will definitly go off better since we now know that we have to include some sort of description of ourselves. ; )

Nirvan.. I am free today if there is a place that isn't too far away. (Meaning I won't have to drive all the way to Plano. LOL ) Like some middle ground area would be nice. If so, I can bring that stuff. (Webgear, Firefly part, and ACC head to swap.)

I vote a new place.. somewhere not so far next time? there are several places on 75.. or off of 121... 35E.... That place wasn't bad I suppose, but the traffic getting there from my location was horrible. I left a little before 2 and didn't get there till 3:30ish.

Guess this is stuff that can be worked out later. As a heads up, I am going to try and put another meet together for next month. Probably the week or 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. So everyone check their calendars and start trying to see what weekend would be good for any of you as well as maybe finding a new location to meet. (If one can't be found or agreed on then we will just make Wizards the place again)

Going to have to be very strategic with the next one, november for a retail employee lik emyself is a touchy month. Stupid holidays require added attention to work detail and we usually move to 6-7 day full work days (basically 24 hours or untill everyone goes home) I can't wait till we get into januaraty HATE decemeber and Novemeber. Actually if we can just fast forward to March I would be happy! The further away from Green Friday we can do it the better, that day/week is awful....

I actually got your number from SE76 but I'd already met up with Nirvana and Air, which was cool, but by that time I guess we just figured we'd catch you on your way in. I'm up for the next meet and greet. Let me know when and where. I will throw my 2¢ in for a possible location... How about IHOP at 121 and Preston (NE corner). IHOP is always very accomodating with groups. As for making sure everyone knows where to sit, we could designate someone to show up early and tell the host/hostess to let everyone else know where to go.

Never, ever had that problem. I'm just trying to stop myself from more Serpents. I think they rival my number of BATS for the moment. I have enough custom ideas on my plate for the moment without adding another one or two. I almost debated a second Zombie...

Some of my cheapies from the bay showed up. Damn Stinger driver helmet was messed up with black spotting everywhere, so I repainted it full black with the light gray Officer symbol left alone (Like the Nightwatch Officer, I guess) to make a Stinger Officer.

Hit about 12 walmarts on the way back from Frisco and there was abolutley nothing of note. I did see those large end cap repack revision green boxes of single card stuff at several of those and but nothing else to note.

BTW stay away from my post on that other wave 11 thread, I do not expect anything but flames form it from posting my opinion. So my Texas brothers know that, I am not physically mad, I was interested in seeing how flammed one can get for thier opinion and that experiment has come to a conclusion....

3 stops tonight and nothing but one sidekick and one where they took all the figures out of the sidekick and pegged them. Other than that.. not a thing.

Went to Target down the road from me earlier and they had the same figures they have had for the last 2 months.. scanned one as well as a CP and stockroom was empty. Makes me made that they went from having joes all the time to not getting anything in at all.

I'll apologize for my tongue lashing at Crimson on the Wave 11 thread. I just got a little crazy because I can't find any new Joes in my area and someone else in Texas is finding treasure.

I have a question. It may not be anyone on here, but if it was.. please raise your hand. I rolled by my local Waco Toys R Us and as I was walking in, someone walked out with 3 of the 5 -packs of Crimson Guard and Greenshirts. I mean they wiped the shelves clean!! I already have the 5 packs and wasn't too irritated about it, but my gosh who needed all those Joes?? Did I spy a scalper in my area???

College Station Walmart got in another wave 3 vehicle case (1 HISS, 1 AWE Striker w/Leatherneck, 1 Fang & Claw, and 1 Firebat), I passed on them for the second time due to the sides of the boxes being slit when the case was opened. I might just have to buy these online if I can't find them in good condition.

College Station TRU has plenty of the exclusive wave 2 5 packs - Crimson Guards and Greenshirts. Still have wave 1 Combat Heroes. College Station Target got in wave 1 Combat Heroes as well.

Went to early vote today and got out so early that I had time for a WM run. I stopped at Wal-Mart on the Tollway and Park. Picked up the only Arise Serpentor DVD pack. If I'm not mistaken, Dusty even has the web gear! It's just some straps for the backpack from what I can tell. It was the only 1 there. They had multiples of the 1st and 2nd DVD packs. Lots of re-relase figs too.

Well the down side to my job, is that I sleep during the morning hours that Target is open and possibly has stuff.. so by the time I get up and out, if there was stuff..I would never know cause it would be gone. so I only get to hit Wal Mart when I get off work and be disappointed as usual. Nothing yet again last night.

The only time I can hit a target is on the weekends and by that time everything is still usually gone. Fortunate enough my roommate is getting up early to go vote..so I plan to send her with written instructions to hit every Target between here and there. LOL Hopefully I will wake up and it be like christmas..(My luck it will be a Christmas carol and Scrooge A.K.A. Hasbro will have once again left me coal.)

I keep trying to order stuff through HTS, but every time I go to use paypal it screws up and it tells me to try again later, then I go back and look at my Paypal account and all the times I have retried it shows pending and then I have to go through the trouble of getting those payments canceled.

Crimson.. your Techno Viper pretty much has the same look as mine. LOL I have been using Rich's design from the Hasbro team. Changed a few things I didn't like on his. Is your helmet removable? I have used a cast of Armored CC head, that same helmet, the lower arms from the same SW figure, tossed up on the hiss body or Major Bludd body. have both sitting there with parts.. Flash upper arms.. Twin upper legs so far..w Viper lowers..

Will have to take some pics with him held together. He won't be painted just a WIP pic.

Went to the Targets at Campbell/Coit, Montfort/635 and Stonebriar, and Wal-Mart on Ohio/121. Zilch at all of them. One thing I found interesting were some foil-carded figs, Scarlett and Buzzer, at Stonebriar this morning. I haven't seen them in a while. Frisco TRU had one lone Sea pack SRO as of this morning.

Another odd thing I found at the Tuesday Morning in Frisco today were some Transformers knock-offs. They had a Devastator 6-pack and 5-packs for Defensor and Superion. I was tempted to pick them up at $7 a pop, but I really gotta be watching what I'm buying.

Yeah, that one's Superion, I'm not sure but I think the group is called the Aerialbots. The Protectobots form Defensor. I've also seen other knock-off sets but the figures aren't matched to the right sets.

It is. I think it's 25th compatible, too. I could go doublecheck, I have both planes.

I'll post that custom on TD when I'm done. It's just the first step as part of a group. Each helmet is going to be slightly different in blue color as this is a special unit like the Republic Commando squad. Just need one or two more from the 'bay for cheap.

I have both of those water firing planes as well. they are small though.. that is the one thing I didn't like about them when I was a kid. Seems that the older I got the smaller the planes got. ; )

think about it.. other than Cobra.. all the planes got smaller. Joes had the skystriker first.. it was big.. then came the Conquest.. the Ghoststriker X-19(O.k. take that back... the Ghoststriker x-19 was not small) Then we got that abyssmal attemt of giving us a F-16..but it had a projection screen in the intake and made sounds.. etc..etc.. then we go the storm eagle.. a cheap plastic plane that you could shoot water with... I know I have probably missed a few smaller planes.. but just wanted to point out that the planes on each side switched.

Cobra started with the decent sized Rattler.. then they got the Night Raven which was huge, but not a lot of function, next they got the huge Condor..also around this time is when they released the huge Helicopter called the Mamba.. they just had something with large aireal vehicles that had detaching parts. LOL


Saw a few of those jets at TRU, but couldn't bring myself to buy one.. Looked at the cockpit and realized that there would have to be some modifications doen in order for me to happy with it. and at $24 a pop.. I can wait. Big Lots will have them soon enough. ; )

The Night Raven had plenty of function and had a second vehicle. The only problem was that it needed 3 and only came with 2 Strato-Vipers.

I will be more than happy to experiment painting an F-22 if the mold happens to fall into the hands of "Worldpeacekeeper Forces." If the old OH-6A fit 25th characters a little better, I'd probably have converted one of those already.

Found the remnants of wave 11 in Denton late yesterday evening. I had to go in Target for something and I wasn't even expecting any new stock especially on a Saturday, but as soon as I saw the isle I spotted Cobra Flint. Funny that Denton sees wave 11 before seeing wave 10. All that was left was the Flint and 1 Airborne. Got both of them of course.

I noticed a few of the Wal Mart stores that I normally stop off at have als had a fluxuation of figures being bought up.. One of which has had so many revision packs that they literally had to move the Macfarlan stuff to use those pegs for the joes.. nor they are back down to 3 rows and even those are slim.. A lot of Vipers are gone, as is Wild Bill, the CG's, Python Officers... IG Destro. I would go out on a limb and say that maybe it's just early Christmas shoppers? Maybe there are some kids out there that didn't get these the first time around.. so this time their parents can get them? who knows.. that can usually only explain the figures.. no clue on the jets, 5 packs and 3 packs. Haven't even been to a TRU in almost a month.

I saw the same things today, strange fluxuations, I found a TF Duke at a Ft. Worth Target so very interesting....was only newer fig I seen this far south in some time. Found tons of Flints and Se+timbers all over the rest of creation from Lewisville down. No comic packs, DVDs, nor vehicles anywhere :(

Would like to find one more Fang/Claw before they dry up if that is not already the case...

Because TRU Execs are g**d*** idiots when it comes to ordering stuff. I'd love to know what the hell the order count was for the TRU exclusives since it's obviously well above the Target exclusive numbers.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the large numbers to collect stuff... but the Wave 1 3-packs are only good for two troop building figures so it's not like people are going to aim towards these unless they're desperate for the troops. I only picked up another recently just to do the Arctic CC and as a bonus I got two more troopers.

I think they are looking at velocity. With troop builders buying large ammounts of these it may be counter productive. They see like 3-5 of these per order in bursts and think they got a hot item on their hands. I seriously doubt they know what a "troop" builder is anyway...much less care so now were flooded with stuff that they will never sell through. Same thing for Walmart it seems, they think we need all of these revisions cause we have bought multiples of them in the past for modifications LOL. I bet as a whole there is only about 12-15 of us that acitvely purchase this merchandise in all of DFW on a regular basis.

Target is at least finnally getting the newer stuff so maybe that will become the hot spot, I am just worried they will jack thier prices back up on single carded figures and 10.99 CPs suck...

Probably stopped shipments when someone higher up realized that the FANG and CLAW pilots were swapped. HTS has been shipping out sets with the figures matching the artwork now so we'll probably see these in the next few weeks hitting stores. As long as there is an open spot for them, of course. ;-) I can think of one Target that has 5 HISS Tanks sitting on the shelf and nothing else for vehicles.

i think it is hasbro. even the people working the hasbro booth at joe con were totally oblivious to anything joe related.i recall one lady behind the booth saying "which one is destro?"

I don't expect the people manning the Hasbro booth at JoeCon to know much unless they came from corporate. The ladies peddling Joes for the HTS or JoeClub site or whatever didn't strike me as someone who does more than get to sell toys at a booth and beg you to buy that stupid Joe card game.

TRU's buyers should *know* crap about what they buy. Any time I've worked as a buyer for a company, I made sure to know everything about anything so that stock flowed.

Buzzer will be back. We'll eventually get Funskool colors of everyone at this rate in addition to plenty more revision waves of Serpentor and Buzzer. ;-)

Well went out and hit a few Targets..unfortunately..so did other people.. by the time I got up and saw the text on my phone from nirvana (thanks BTW) I was apparently too late. went to one store and all they had were ver 2 Baroness and ver. 2 roadblock.. And I mean several of them, not just one of each LOL

The other stores didn't have jack either.. only picked up a Python Officer..not sure why.. just figured I didn't want to go home empty handed. I would have picked up a few Vipers or Hiss drivers if I would have found them.

Found a full set of Wave 10 at Target and a Fang/Claw at Walmart(was an Extra BAT at the target I left it (got em for the 4.99 price chaching) at from wave 10 assortment, and a Firebat at the Walmart i found the Fang).

No clear Wraith just one of each of wave 10.

Infiltrated almost every north Dallas Target earlier this afternoon to find what I did since apprenlty wave 10+ Joes are not allowed in Tarrant County. Found the Fang on my side of town though right under my nose suprisinvg enough...

I went to Kohl's in Frisco after work, scored the Mainframe and Scrap Iron packs, and a Para-Viper and Bazooka Trooper. It looks like they had 2 cases of Wave 10 out and a case of Wave 6 CPs.
With a Kohl's card, you also get either 15%, 20% or 30% off on top of that 20% that Crock Master mentioned. My wife picked a crappy 15% scratch card, but it still knocked the cost of the CPs down to $8 and change.

Stopped by CG's favorite Target in Plano. No BATS on the peg... and then I noticed two BATs, one on top of the other turn so that you wouldn't notice them unless you picked them off the lower shelf. Score! Custom BAT time.

Hit a shit load of Kohl's today- Benbrook, Keller, Flower Mound, Lewisville, Carrolton, Irving, Grand Prairie, and Arlington. Several were stocked full of Wave 10 and Wv 6 CPs. Most stores appear to have put out at least 2 boxes of both waves. No wave 11s and a few did no thave them out yet but had several shelves cleared.

I also found a full set of wave 10 at another target, Nirvana you may wanna look under you nose again...check you PMs

I did not find anything i needed and given I picked up a full set of wave 10 from target last night I did not need anymore from my Kohl's findings. Note: They all had regualr wraiths for those that had them but no clear wraiths so maybe he is going to be rare. I still doubt it since most of these Kohl's stores only put out 2 sets of wave 10 tops so that is only a 50/50 chance.

I did come home to find this on my porch from BBTS though!!

Snowjob.. I am far from rich especially this month.. I just realized my bank account is in the double digits.. so my spending has halted for a few weeks till I get caught up. Had a lot of crap that needed to be fixed and drained me. Most of my collection is from when I was a teenager.. would go to conventions and such plus worked with a guy who bought and sold old joes and picked up stuff from him for free for the help. ; )

Didn't they make a Stargate playset or something awhile back when they aere using Joe molds for the vehicles? I remember them making a SF(Street Fighter) Base thing using the electronic Battle playset thing from the 90's..wasn't sure if they did the same for this line...
