Hey, CrimsonGuard101(and everyone else for that matter), I found nothing new on the way home. I went to the TRU in Frisco, the Super Target in Frisco, and the Target in Allen. Nothing but revision stuff, wave 1 vehicles, same 'ol comic packs, and same DVD packs.

I did find something interesting at the Allen Target, though. Something I didn't notice at the Frisco one. They had the single packs at a "lowered price". Was $7.99, now they're $6.84.

I'm in the same boat as you. I haven't picked up any vehicles past Wave 1, the SRO packs (but I got 2 of them incoming from a fellow Tanker), the CG TRU pack (passing on the greenshirts), and the wave 6 CPs. I'm not too worried though, if the previous TRU exclusives are any indication, they'll warm eventually. So will the CPs and vehicles. I hope!

i figured it out. They are loading us with all these revision cases to keep the scalpers at bay. so only the supposedly variants are rare, instead of normal joes like BATS and Serpents and Flints and Snow Jobs. I have to make sense of all of this or I can't sleep

All I ever find are the remains of Wave 3 vehicle sets (no love for the Desert AWE, I guess). Nothing new on the CP/DVD/Single front. Took back one of my extra pairs of planes and picked up the Target Exclusive Marvel Legends BaF Red Hulk set (including variant) in one swoop.

Lame that neither of us noticed until it was opened. So now I need to get the receipt from him and find another set. Had to stop in Plano to talk to mofo TWC on the way home. I stopped at Parker/75 Target, they had a revision case that had 2 CGs, IG Destro (the first time I've seen a carded one in the wild), and Snow Job among others. Target at Custer and 121 had a another revision case that had a Flash, and a couple of Major Bludds.

Booga, I was at that TRU on Thursday and I didn't see any new SRO packs, though there was a hint of restocking it was mostly wave 9 revisions. Though they may have stocked up after I left, it has been a couple days since.

I should mention that military PX and BX stores carry Joes. The ones I've been to have been comic pack heavy with little or no single packs, and the occasional vehicles. Though they could possibly prove fruitfull as I've been eyeing the same Tomax/Xamot CP for weeks now and no one has touched it.

PX and BX are just small stores on base, I have no idea why they call em that. I'm just saying if one happens to know someone in the military or are in the military themself its worth a look since most collectors dont' go there.
CVS pharmacy stores are also known to have some rare figs because not many people go there for toys. I've yet to check a CVS myself.

Both the BX and PX are nice if the base has one near by. When I lived in Wichita Falls, I knew a lot of Airmen so I was on base most of the time and would stop in at there BX. From what i've heard according to some of the other military guys on here..it's been a hit or miss on getting figures there. Most of the time they are figures from several waves back.

I think one of the guys actually talked to the guy who does the orders at one and he started ordering the figures more often and kept them up to date. Would be good to get in with the Supply guy at one of these. there are none around me unfortunately.. there is what used to be an old air base near me (Carswell AFB, also known to have had parts of the Roswell wreckage shipped and stored there) Now is it a National air field that is used for Marine/Navy flight training. Get to see a lot of touch and goes a well as some really cool aircraft.. like the F-22 and F-35...and my favorite.. the A-10.

Well as for my trip.. wish it would have been under better circumstances.. was hard for me to try and hunt for joes..But I hit a few HEB's in the Waco area on the way home...found 1 wave 10 figure.. can anyone guess who it was... I saw the new comic packs one day this week at the Denton Wal Mart. They only had 2 of each and they were gone the next day when I had to go back in there. I got the Beachhead/Mainframe pack but passed on the others. I am holding out for Scrap Iron since they will end up releasing a single carded version anyway. The Snake Eyes/Hard Master set just didn't impress me enough to grab it. Maybe next time. What I am really wanting is the new DVD packs. Dusty was always one of my favorite figs and he is way overdue!

The vest and legs are the only differences, IIRC. I could go check if you want. The CP version is much better than the cheaply tossed together assortment of parts for the Extreme version.

The bulk of my customs start from me replacing a figure because the first one I bought had some paint defect when they were hard to find. Flash, Torpedo, and Armored CC just off the top of my head. Hasbro's QC is terrible.

Gas costs too much and there are more important things to focus on in life besides toys from my youth. ;-) Wave 10 should show up with UPS today. I'm going to hate needing Wave 11 because there are multiple army builders in that set. I would not be against the idea of every other month being a new wave with revision sets during the down time months. Spread it out, give everyone's wallet a break here.

ToyWiz worked out. Of 14 Wave 10 figures, only one has a slightly questionable paintjob on the Paratrooper mask.

Now I just need a Clear Wraith (condition of the card doesn't matter), a SHARC, maybe a FANG/CLAW if they become plentiful (or the two figures if someone doesn't want them), Wave 2 DVD sets, and Wave 11 if Hasbro ever decides that they want to ship to stores not called HEB.

I love how the Q&A they say to expect a new wave about every month.. when this began, we didn't see a new wave but once every 2 -3 month apart.. and why the hell didn't anyone ask what the deal was with the wave 10 distribution? I mean everyone under the sun that has a web store has gotten them, but they have not been seen at a single regular retail store? Is this to be expected with wave 11 as well? There has to be some answer on why Wal Mart and Target either get nothing or only revision packs.. Hasbro has to have some control over this and I imagine it has a lot to do with us buying up everything when the new waves hit, so they wanted to release the figures again so that normal people had a chance to pick up the figures that hopped off shelves fast and were never seen again. Oh and those who passed up on the Hard Master/SE pack. It's actually a very nice pack. the weapons rack and bo staff get thumbs up from me. As well as hard masters mask...which I think is cool. Plus Alyosha has a kit that will be going up to change Hard Master into Lifeline. He should have pics up soon.

I support the Lifeline kit. I bought a couple of Lifeline med briefcases awhile back so Doc would have one when he gets opened eventually.

I put it against his face first, then pull the band behind his head. But when I first got it opened and tried it, the things was too tight.. so I dropped it in some hot water then put it on him and let it cool. Now it slides on and off without problems.

I have roughly 30 Red Ninja. I plan to have about 10 Ninja Ku figures and want about as many of the Apprentice SE figures and will probably do about 20 Ninja Vipers.

I just like the round number of 20 I suppose. LOL It's from years and years of playing 40K. Cause you have to have 4 troops choices usually and I have 4 5 man squads counting the squad leaders.. So my Cobra troops follow the same flow...although I got a little carried away with some figures only due to waiting time between waves. ; )

Well the joe run was a flop... although I did find that somehow the scalpers missed all those wv1 DVD packs.. Must be cause they are all hidden under the waves and wave of the rare revision stuff and right next to all those nice SW 3 packs. Not really ahead, you got a jump pn waves 11 and 12 Magick, however I do not share you like of the Python Crimson Guard. May just get one or two if they appear on a shelf to turn into Grey/Black CGs. I was never a fan of Tiger force or Python Patrol, think my days of orignal Joes had ended by the time those started coming out. My little brother ha da few of em but I just ignored it, wasnt the same anymore.

I am not "fully" caught up or ahead, just have wave 10 finished and I am now out fo room till I get my secodn wall cabinet mounted. The damned things are not as wide as the studs in my wall so that has been an uber project to finish. The one I have fully loaded with my Cobras looks hella badass though.

If I can knock out Fang/Claw x2 and one more nice carded revision Flint to hang on my wall I can consider myself set till Wavees 11 and 12 (Eels + Red Divers are a must, Matt Tracker will be cool cause I liked MASK, maybe couple of Cobra Flints, definatley Scarlet Pilot, Airborne and Zartan need them too, Red Sigil Cobra Trooper x4, HELL NO to Ripper, Water Moccasin + Sky Hawk WUWU, Best of DVD case, UBP, ALMOST DONE!)

I can't believe none of the new product is in more stores by now, unless they are waiting on Christmas to drop it all at once.

If that be the case my money won't be able to go towards joe's but gifts for the family. Guess I have to wait for Jan, but then there will be even newer stuff out.

Hasbro said they were bumping up Distribution and we started to see an increase.. then we got wave after wave of revisions.. and nothing new. Wave 10 was supposed to be out already and so far we have had to resort to road trips south to invade grocery stores, or purchase them online. Since the wave 5 Cp's there has been a decrease in new distribution and an increase of old distribution.

Major retail chains either get nothing or revision cases only. The wave 2 vehicles have been hit and miss and mismatched.. sometimes you can find all 4, other times you find 2 and the side of the box says Wave 1 rev. 2. Makes no sense.. I always see Firebats..and A.W.E. Strikers.. but have yet to see a Fang/Claw or Sharc. So my guess is that the Wv 1 Rev 2 cases have the above that I keep seeing.

I had mentioned earlier in a post that I will not expect to see wave 10 pop up till after Wave 11. By then it will be more of a filler wave.

Something is up, but only Hasbro knows what it is. I just hope that there is a means behind their madness.

Bryan Target has the wave 1 Combat Heroes for $6.99, however all of them are in crushed packages. Glad I got mine at ToysRUs!

That leaves, I think, Commander Cody on a whim if I see him. So far he keeps having a bad paint job. Kinda kicking myself that I didn't grab Commander Fox when Target had their exclusive, but he *has* to come out again and not for $12 next time.

Are there instructions on breaking apart SW figures? The old Super Battle Droids had articulated knees and the new ones have just about everything else articulated. So, I'm thinking there should be a way to swap the old SBD legs to the new one to make the perfect figure.

If so I just wanted to let you know that I live about 5 minutes from that Wal Mart and I got a call from Cannon Fodder telling me to go and get it. That doesn't mean we Californians like it anymore than you guys. It's still unclear on why they did this. Why can't the larger states be split up? It's too confusing.

Makes things hard to determine. Also hard if all they have under their location is "Texas" That is why I changed mine to exact location much like you did. Us North Texas guys actually have a pretty good networking system going. Noticed the South Texas guys starting to get theirs going as well... since Wave 10 was only being found down there, I started networking with them as well.. so this really doesn't effect me as long as people are discriptive in their post.

All and all.. it's their sandbox, we just play in it. LOL
