Just checked that Sterling Heights Walmart & they're all gone. Lots of Wave 7 there though. I've never had any luck with that Walmart personally, but I'm glad someone on here got them rather than anybody else.

& if you happen to have extra Wave 9, I have a lot of Python Patrol I'd be willing to trade!

So trend seems to be a re-stock of wave 7 and a few cases of wave 9.

Livonia Walmart:
Seems someone picked the pallets for wave 9 here. Nothing on shelves but the wave 7 re-stocks just after open.

Canton Walmart:
Only new thing to hit were Marvel Transformers. Kinda lame looking.

Belville Walmart:
Wave 7 re-stock, non-25th card Torpedo, Wild Bill and a Storm Shadow (black Ninja-ku). Nothing else.

May hit up some other Walmarts later, but I'm sure they will be picked clean by then.

Transformers are my main hobby and I don't even think twice about dropping $40 on a figure and I typically buy two of each. If you think that is bad I dropped $200 on a Crystal Convoy recently and I have a couple of figures pre-ordered over the $200 range at BBTS and tfsource.

I got the Ninja-Ku Storm Shadow at Belleville Wal-Mart this morning. I see from other earlier posts that someone here got the rest of the Wave 9 case. I'm glad someone from here got them and not some scalper like I saw at TRU this morning in Ann Arbor.

Ann Arbor TRU has nothing new, just some old comic packs and the three packs, and the Canton Target on Michigan and Beck just has a few older comic packs, a Cobra Commander and a Scarlett.

Ann Arbor TRU does have the new Transformers Classics, Prowl, Sunstreaker and Tankor if anyone is interested.

Just got back from the other Sterling Heights Walmart, & all that was left was the Wild Bill & Torpedo, along with the 2 Buzzers that have been haunting the store.

I cleaned out the rest of the wave 9's at the Howell WM this morning. They had 2 cases and I think somebody snagged 1 bat and 1 ninja-ku, since they had only one of those when I got there, but 2 of the others. I left both wave 9 Wild Bill's but got all of the others.

I also checked a bunch of stores around the lansing area and only saw remnants of wave 9 at one of them.

WM - Okemos - they had one hawk, 2 each of the wave 9 Torpedos and Wild Bills and 1 of the Firefly/SS comic pack and 2 of the Shippy comic packs. They had a few wave 8 figs too, I remember seeing a Baroness and maybe v2 Roadblock.

WM - North Lansing - no wave 9's or new CPs.

WM - West Lansing - no wave 9's or new CPs. Some wave 7 figs like HISS driver and Spirit.

Target - Okemos - no wave 9's or new CPs.

Target - West Lansing - no wave 9's or new CPs.

TRU - Okemos - no wave 9's or new CPs.

Just got back from there. Nothing left of Wave 9. They had two Ninja-Ku SS left, but nothing else. Plenty of Wave 7 and a couple Torpedo's though. By the way, the toy isle there is in utter chaos, toys scattered everywhere, on the floor, etc. Oh well, the hunt shall continue I suppose.

Wave 9 also hit my neck of the woods. Although all I saw was Torpedo and Wild Bill in the new packaging. This is in Chesterfield Twp.
I'm going broke, new joes, animated Transformers, Transformer Universe stuff all coming out of the woodwork all at the same time. I mainly collect transformers, but the 25th joes pulled me in when I saw that Flint figure. (Although I still don't have him)

Anyways on a side note, Tformer dudes, take advantage of the rain checks for the Animated line at Target. If they sell out, you can ask for a raincheck for up to a quantity of 9 and is good for 45 days. Even though the sale has ended,(ends on the 5th) you can still get the price point of $8, good for a month and a half. Hope this helps.

I went over to the Troy Walmart & they have nothing but a ton of Wave 7 & wave 8. They have so much on the racks that I don't think they'd even put out a case of wave 9.

I also headed over to TRU in Madison Heights. Lots of command 3 packs(no Crimson guard) several 5 packs & old CP. No vehicles.

I found all Wave 1 vehicles at the TRU @ Lakeside Mall. There was 1 set left when I left. The toy gods blessed me for my failure yesterday in procuring Wave 9!

I've also updated the map. Which looks awesome with a Hisstank bearing down on the stupid mall!

The Midland Target has had the same MASS Device Cobra Commander, two w8 Roadblocks, and Scarlett since uh... well, wave 8 came out basically, so about a month. The same three Scarlett & Hawk comic packs since about the dinosaurs still roamed the earth, too. I am kind of glad about the comic packs, as they might get in the w5 ones right away. Unfortunately though with the single figures being $8, I'll only MAYBE buy a B.A.T. ... Kind of waiting to see if the Wal-Mart gets more w9 in, with how fast they got in their first case and how fast it sold, though.

Target on Hall Rd. is wiped clean of all Wave 9, 'cept Torpedo & Wild Bill.

I checked out the Target on 16 Mile in Sterling Heights(nada) & the Target on Van Dyke in Sterling Heights which also had nada. I did see the Hasbro Lady(TM) & all she could tell me was that store did not get a new shipment in, & that there would be a lot more going out to all stores by the end of the month. She also said the blame lies with the stores for not ordering enough. She said that in recent months, TRU has really stepped up on ordering, so we should see more there in the future. She mentioned that TRU Lakeside was her store & that she had been there today. After I drove by, they had less than they had when I scored the vehicles last week...

Target - Carpenter Rd Ann Arbor - I saw wave 9 Wild Bill, Barbeque, Hawk, and Bazooka and left them for others since I already have them. Somebody beat me to this store and got the others.

Walmart - Howell - they still have the two wild bills from wave 9, but nothing else.

Target - Brighton - Hawk, Torpedo, and Barbeque from wv 9, and some of the new comic packs (2 of the Shippy and 1 of the Duke/Red Star).

I guess I should consider myself lucky that the Target near me never has anything new... Since January, I have only bought 2 CPs and 2 exc. vehicles in the three Targets I check out every week or so.

I kind of feel bad posting this because I dont want to seem like im bragging, but Mt. pleasant target got a set of wave 9 in today, an di picked them up minus the Wb and torpedo at like focus said 8.47 each after tax.

YUK!! I have never paid this much, i don't have a lot to spend so I have to get what I can at good prices, ussualy wal-mart is my place. But i tried using the coupon and the guy gave me a look and a guilty as charged voice as he said people were using this as fraud. I just said ok, didn't give them any reaction, and bought my wave 9. It was all they had.

The things is I think target selling joes for 7.99 each is fraud! F'in target. I hate the fact I had to buy from them at 7.99 each.

But when I find them at wal-mart I will try and price match to K-mart for 5.99 each which sounds like is something they do then take these back to Target for someone else to grab.

But they did have wave 4 comic packs that i can pick up for someone in Michigan and send away at cost, if they are there when i check on them tomorrow if needed, just PM me. I have a buy/sell page with my great feedback on there, in case you would like to check it out.

It is nice being about 200 yards away from target and wal-mart, then a mile away from k-mart, and 3 from meijers, which sucks by the way for joes. pegs are always empty, i would have nothing if I had to rely on them. Maybe Im spoiled.

I wish the Targets by me had figures I wanted, even at 8 bucks a pop. I'd have no problem justifying the price if they had the stock to back it up. I have no problem paying for service or availability as long as it's actually there. I waste more in the difference driving around, buying them from scalpers, & just plain time it takes to do this. I feel very lucky that I got 95% of my collection at retail, which out of the other things I've collected is extremely high, so maybe my view is skewed.

I also know that my patience in finding figures at a cheaper location has cost me in the past, among other things,a W1 Flint! That hurt really bad! Now I don't question it if I see it, I just get it. Worst case you can return it.

Anyways, I'm too tall for soap boxes, & for once, I don't have any non sightings to report!

...i tried using the coupon and the guy gave me a look and a guilty as charged voice as he said people were using this as fraud. I just said ok, didn't give them any reaction, and bought my wave 9. It was all they had.

I tried using the coupon at a Target that didn't display the 'Fraudulent' signs. I was casually flirting with the cashier when the system blocked the coupon. I told her why the system blocked it but she replies, "...it's okay, I just need an override!"

She called a supervisor over and asks her to just enter the override code while hiding the coupon. The supervisor hesitated then asked about the $5 discount. After the cashier revealed the coupon the supervisor exclaimed, "THAT'S FRAUDULENT, THAT'S FRUADULENT!!!"

She questions me about how I obtained the coupon but she painted herself into a corner by making accusations of which I undermined with knowledge of the fraudulent coupons and visual proof that the coupon was from Target's website. She was willing to override the system after she goes to her office to reread the 'Fraudulent' email again. I told her that I was in hurry and not to bother. I knew it was a shot in the dark anyway.

So class, what did you learn today? That's right, a supervisor can manipulate the Target system and still validate the coupon however I don't advise this unless you have a good relationship with the store supervisor. They can still discount your purchase without scanning the coupon; I once received 50% off with just a few keystrokes from a store supervisor.

FYI: For those that have established a good relationship with their Target(s) just tell them of your dilemma, KINDLY remind them of how much business you do there and then lean on your relationship that you have established. NOW ask them to trade your once valid $5 off coupon for a Target complimentary $3 off coupon. If your good, you can get two complimentary $3 off coupons. YES, you can use multiple complimentary Target $3 coupons in one transaction...LOL!

Yeah, I figured that would come sooner than later. I didn't think it was just Target random price changes and was dictated by Hasbro. Chances are we'll finally see K Mart changes prices now as well. Having a difference in MSRP and shelf price of $2 doesn't seem likely.

for those who live in southwest michigan, I went to Mishiwaka (just over the border into indiana) and the Toys R Us there had one of all the vehicles. I left the HISS Tank and driver.

Also the Wal Mart there had nothing new, but had about fifty figures or so (four or five pegs FULL) and enough Vipers on hand to make an army (at least ten). Some of the Joes there were in the regular action figure aisle (about two pegs) but when I kept walking, there was another aisle with four full pegs of figures also.

Flint TRU is now out of vehicles. I picked up an armadillo/chariot pack and hiss tank that they had there. I already have a target hiss tank why oh why did I buy this one. Well this one is black and the target one is blue. If this one had been blue I would have passed. no really.

Anyways TRU has 1 Nightwatch 5 pack 1 Crimson 3 pack and several cobra blue and joe 3 packs. they also have several wave 7 figures.

Decent amount of Joes, even a few old school ARAH. I picked up my Ninja Ku, BAT, Snow Serpent, & Arctic Snake Eyes, so I'm quite happy today. Even found an old POTF AT-AT Driver I needed. Plus a few loose figs, I scored a complete Beachhead for 4 bucks.

Much cheaper admission than Motor City Comic Con(3.00), with a better selection. If you want to finish up any loose ends of your collection, you can probably do so today. Of course you're going to pay a few bucks more a fig, but in my case it was worth it. DIdn't notice any W1 Flint's, though...

I posted about this on another forum, because the story is mainly about me not being able to buy TF Animated wave 3, but... Friday night after seeing Hellboy 2, I went to the Midland Wal-Mart. I saw a pallet with four or five cases of TF Animated figures, a case of the TF Universe Robot Heroes, two cases of TF Marvel Crossovers, IJ Mighty Muggs and Titanium figures, some SW stuff for the 26th (Galactic Heroes), and a case of 12" GI Joes. Well, I wanted Oil Slick from the TF: Animated stuff, and wanted to look at the 12" figures to see if they were any better in person. Well, I asked an employee if they could help me with the boxes (worked for wave 9) and they said they'd have to get a manager.

So this guy comes up to help me and immediately says that he can't open them, they have a street date. The ONLY time I've ever been upset at an employee for not helping me, is now... I told him, clearly that the SW stuff was the only stuff that had a street date! All of this was already available through other venues, and that they even had some of it on the shelves already! (They had a case of the TF Universe Robot Heroes up, and they had already put up a case of the TF Crossovers a week prior!) He told me he couldn't do anything, then, because it was "new mod". I pointed at the Robot Heroes and explained to him that they were on the shelf, and the Animated stuff was basically on the shelf also. He said he couldn't do anything. I think this is basically the last time I try to be nice and ask an employee before opening anything... =/

Back in the day I used to go into the backroom at Flint TRU, stuff I wanted was just inside the door. I have a knife on my keychain so opening is never an issue. I was big in Star Wars when they came back out and some stuff was super hard to find. That and some of the Spawn figures.

Speaking of which... no new Joe stuff, but my awful employee story turned out well, as today when I went to Wal-Mart they had all the wave 3 TF Animated toys I wanted, plus wave 1 Universe! They also had Leader Class Animated figures, and the Supreme Optimus Prime. No 12" Joes out, yet, though, but the employee I ran into today was really nice, the exact opposite of the other guy. Plus, at self-checkout the cashier let me use as many of the $5 coupons as I had (3) for 7 figures, two of which weren't even Animated! I was pretty pleased with getting a set of wave 3, plus another Oil Slick, and a Sunstreaker and Tankor for $59.

Not sure about Walmart's or Targets though by that stretch... There's a Target on Southfield in Southfield, that's about 5 miles from where you will be. There's a lot more east of that when you get into the Royal Oak/Troy/Madison Heights/Sterling Heights area....

I went to the Target on M-59 & Schoenherr looking for the DVD packs. They have redone their Joe area, it's a lot bigger with the same amount of nothing in it. SO I went to guest services & had them look into the DVD's, they didn't have anything there, & the lady at least seemed surprised that there was nothing in the area. I'm going to swing by a few more Targets later to see if I can dig up anything else...

Stopped by the Target on 16 & Dequindre & 15 & Van DYke, neither have done any resets in the toy department. I had the guy look up the DPCI # there & he said there's nothing anywhere near here.

Hey guys I'm in the Royal Oak area. I go huntin all the time. Yesterday I saw All of the vehicles except for the Trouble Bubble pack, @ the Toys R us on Telegraph and 12 mile.A couple of Wild Bills, Rippers, and Serpentor.

Toys Rus on John R and 14 mile had 2 single carded Cobra soldiers, but both had creases in them. All of the rest were two packs.

K-mart on Greenfield and 11 mile had a fresh restock of wave 7 or 8 I believe I get confused which wave is which.....the wave with spirit, and Wild bill, Duke, Cobra Commander.
Which one is that?

The Target on John R had a shit load of Toon Cobra Commanders and Flag Dukes.

I've noticed that the new two packs have also popped up everywhere around here. The new one with Duke and the Oktober Guard guy, and Copperhead/Shipwreck.

There were a lot of those at different stores.

I know Hasbro said they were increasing production, and I had no touble finding any of the wave 7 stuff (including tons of Vipers), but I've seen very little of the wave 8 figures (and less of wave 9 since it's so new).

On the 11th, two and a half weeks ago, when the Midland Target got in wave 9, they didn't have the two Ninja-Ku Storm Shadows that were supposed with the rest of the figures, when I found two, what I thought, were unspoiled cases on the shelves. I figured someone really wanted to make an army, so I thought nothing of it. Well, today when I was looking in the toys for Deep Space Starscream (STOP! Clearance time! Not yet... :{) I found... the two Ninja-Ku Storm Shadows! Zuh? I left them because $8 is ridiculous for any 3.75" figure, (especially when Transformers Deluxe figures are $10 and do a ton more, and are a LOT more plastic) so they're still there...

so i walk into the Joe section and there is a guy there already...i see that the w5 c.p.'s are there as is w9...he's standing back a bit so i start to thumb thru without actually picking anything up (but excited as to what i see) because he was there first...and i ask

me - "have you found Bolo yet?"

him - "who?"

me - "i guess not...have you gotten what you wanted yet?"

him - "yep, i'm all set...i only pick up the ones i really like" (HAH!, that won't last)

at that point i pick up another B.A.T., a Snow Serpant (my first time ever seeing these two in a store) and a set of the w5 c.p.s...not only that but i almost overlooked a black head Destro!...woo-hoo!...what a good day...this guy that was there musta been new...how could he leave all that gold?!...

They are. On a hunch I went over to Corunna Rd Wal-mart today on my lunch and went passed the bike display and they had Three cases of Wave 9 down their new aisle. No Wave 5 Comic Packs.

Went to Target tonight after work.. not exactly sure why, but this store still hasn't received any Transformers Universe/Classics besides Deluxes. =/ Ah well. They had what looked like two more full cases of wave 9, come in, because they had two Barbeques, if I remember right. Still had a Bazooka, Hawk, three Ninja-Ku Storm Shadows and maybe one or two more guys... no more DVD packs, but they still have 3/4 of a set of vehicles. found wave 9 figs at walmart in grand blanc last night i grebbed the 2 bats and snow serpent but there was 2 ninja ku's and about 4-5 general hawks.

Found wave 9 at both Midland Target and Wal-Mart this afternoon. No bats, 1 Snow Serpent at Wal-Mart. A few Wave 8 at Target, I grabbed the python officer. I picked up two Wave 4 CPs at Target as well as the Vamp and Hiss. Left the Armadillo/Chariot. No other new CPs at either store. Nothing at the Meijer nearby.

I just got back from Walmart on Telegraph in Taylor. They Had Wave 9 stuffed on two pegs. I got 5 B.A.T.S, 4 Snow Serpents, 1 Ninja Ku, 2 Bazooka's, 2 Barbecue's, and 1 General Hawk. There's still more there too! except the B.A.T.S and Snow Serpent's. Sorry LOL! They also had the Recarded figs too, like Wild Bill, and Torpedo. Also had some Infantry vipers, and a wave 7 snake eyes. Alot of the wave 9 cards were like warped or something but looked like they were shipped that way!? Good luck hope you can find some figs too! It's hell finding joes all the time now!
