Picked up a Lifeline and Sci-Fi at Meijer on 12 and Mound in Warren. Left behind Techno-Viper, 2 Zombie Vipers, Law and Order, Airtight, and Renegades Cobra Trooper, as of about 8:00 tonight. No SS to be found.

Monroe Meijer had no good GI Joe stuff in :/ Marvel Legends were there, including variants. Left them all, I'm even getting out of Marvel Universe now, too hard to find :( Down to Star Wars/GI Joe, phasing out Star Wars soon, phasing out GI Joe when the movie line comes out, just going to pick up the Commander and hopefully Jinx/Shockwave tank on HTS.

They're in backstock and the employee will tell you they don't have anymore. For some reason, ever walgreens will only keep 2 out at a time and claim they have no more. Everyone I've been to has had only 2 figs. I came across one that had a techno viper and a POC Dusty. I asked and they said they don't have anymore which makes no sense. Why would anyone leave only the techno behind?

I know what your saying but for me the hunt is the game. Before I got back into 25th style I was collecting 12" DID and some Hot Toys stuff. The only way to get that stuff is online. Pulling out credit card and ordering exactly what you want is not the same as winnining the mini lotto when you stop in to buy milk and find something.

Besides if you miss in the wild you can always do online.

personally, I wouldn't do it... they're not making moc ARAH night vipers any more, but they are making Renegades Storm Shadows. The problem is distribution and vendors, and I'd always skew on the side that distribution will eventually come through online or in stores. There are examples of "missed waves" (Low-Light), but there are many more examples (IMHO) of waves people feared for months would be missed simply to be late. In 2 months, I wouldn't be surprised if Ren Stormies were seen fairly often. You'll never see more MOC ARAH figures than their are right now.

The Roadblock and Snake Eyes Ninja Commando figures are 10" variety and the ninja figures might have the gimmicky "ninja battle action" features like they tried with the PoC Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow.

Hey Lansing, tankers, did a little social experiment today...

Lake Lansing Meijer has remnants (Ripcord, Scarlett & Sci Fi) of wave 4. I left everything b/c I have a BBTS shipment already OTW, but hoped a fellow tanker would score that Sci Fi. So, I hid him below the pegs, on the shelf behind a line of 12" figures that I'm sure will never move.

I took all wave 4 figures from Lake Lansing Friday morning I found the box sitting there on the pallet so I took the 2 Zombies and 1Techno, then put the rest on the hooks. On Saturday morning I went back and they still there so I took the rest of wave 4 minus Sci-Fi & Rip Cord, I left them. But I checked the rest of the Meijers and found nothing thus far.

OK update at the warehouse. There are no more wave 2 cases and we are getting in wave 4. this week we got several cases the stores that i remember are 1 case went to Dewitt Meijer and 3 cases went to Lake Lansing Meijer. There were several others but i can't remember which ones.

It's so funny, the Ypsi & Canton Meijers never got any new figures in after ROC.
The only POC they ever carried were the vehicles.

This includes older codes such as ROC and POC. All three are currently listed in the computer but hasbro apparently doesn't have anymore Roc OR Poc so we will get whatever they currently have. Several Meijers still have full pegs of ROC figures. Since all are grouped the computer thinks that the store has plenty and won't order anything new until the Balance on hand reaches the order point. It sucks the way they do this.

I haven't seen Jack since wave 2, save for one Meijers with wave 4 remnants. I'm dying for ONE SS Ren and--to a lesser degree--ONE zombie. Do I really have to give in and pay $50 on Feebay? Maybe these figures will drop in demand/price in the secondary market once movie figures start to flood the market? No Ren SS, and I only bought ONE zombie Viper. This left ONE each of the following figures: Zombie Viper, Sci-Fi, Law and Order, Lifeline, Techno Viper, Airtight, Scarlett, Cobra Trooper, Tunnel Rat, Ripcord, and Steel Brigade trooper. I hid the best ones behind two CCs on the bottom peg, and a few others on the top peg.

Well, giving up on Marvel/Star Wars for now since I found Patriot finally, not liking Marvel Legends, GI Joe I have MORE than enough of... passing zombie vipers even from now on. Absolutely, you can always ask! At the Okemos TRU, there is one, and only ONE peg for Joes. I found him underneath the peg to the left of the Joe peg. For the life of me I can't remember what figures he was under, but he was on top of some boxes underneath those said figures. Somebody definetly put him there.....

I am looking for Z vipers- I have seen two in the wild and snatched them up. I have even started looking in Kroger's and Walgreens. (I am having a hard time telling myself it's worth 10.99 or higher at those places for Joes)

Don't know if you want to come this far east, but...Walmart in Commerce Twp., Pontiac Trail/Haggerty, has two Techno Vipers. They had 'em last week, and I saw 'em again today.

Crap...I KNOW I've passed 'em up all over the place, but right now I couldn't pinpoint one location. Probably because I ran around to about 6-7 stores today. Decided to grab myself a 30th Viper from CVS and countered that rip off price of $12 with a $7 Law and Order score at Meijers.

But just remembered this: TRU has a nice built in hiding spot. Above the pegs there are signs for what toys are below. These flip up for extra storage, but are usually empty. If you're looking closely, you can see from underneath (there are holes) if something is up there, but you have to be really looking for something. I've tossed a TF:A Rodimus and Arcee up there before when I didn't have cash to buy them, and days later they were still there.

Maybe this is a good spot for "us" to stash things for one another, at TRU at least ...

Yeah, I would drive far away to get a Joe I wanted really bad as well. Before I was a member of this sight or should I say a "regular poster", I used to hide stuff behind Transformers. I would put them way in the back, usually before the last T-former on a peg. T-formers were somewhat close to Joes and the card is way bigger. I always hid them for myself when I didn't want to buy a bunch of stuff at a time.

Hiding has its good and bad points, its good that I'm finding the shit, but screwing you other guys over. However, now, since I talk to a bunch of you guys on the "Tank", I would rather hide something for you guys to find as opposed to buying it myself. And, because I already have a bunch of stuff. Like I said before in this thread or some other one, I go "hunting" 2 or 3 times a week, in different locations and always find someting.


I don't know about hiding behind Skystrikers, everytime I go I look to see how many are on the shelf, plus I know the hiding game, so I would check...scalpers prob to do the same.
