Ok so I went on a hunt Sunday. Had to take a test ride to see if my brake repair fixed the problem. (it did not) but since I was in the neighborhood........

I scored a couple of 25th Ann. troop builders at Marshals in Brighton and got all of the case fresh new POC figs at Target. Left crock master but found everything else. I think my favorite are the IG's. Just need to figure out how to make em blend better with the rest of the IG's.

checked out bunch of places, today and didnt find anything. i checked woodhaven walmart,target. southgate meijer. southgate TRU and all was null. Walmart in woodhaven was doing inventory and had only 4 joes on shelf so im thinkign they may have a nice box of new joes in back.

Ok- I am thinking that it was at least two months ago I went on a spree and made my way toward Flint to do a little shopping. I didnt find Dick on the trip except I went into TRU by the mall and they had two figs on a peg. One was Destro w/ the money and the other was pegwarmer dusty.

I bit on Destro and he is totally cool. But I have never seen another in the wild. How is it that in a line where they make 10s of thousands of figures that I have only seen one in a store?

I have never seen lowlight in the wild. I just don't understand how the distribution works. So are we thinking that wave 5 and 6 will be better?

i bought two cases of wave 6 from a target in flint and havnt seen them since.

Well my walmarts Have re-pegged space for joes. They just dont have none. Its frustrating when you have money to spend and The Store never stocks your item. Same with Meijers and Target, they Have plenty of space for new cases but have nothing in stock. That is all

i talked to a manager and he said that as far as he new, know gi joe was coming into tru anytime soon, but who know's really, they seem to stock a case like every two monthes. that tru is a joke, they havn't stocked shit in forever, last i seen was they put out that one destro, shadow tracker and a shock troop, its sad.

Ok so I found a huge stash of ROC figs at a walmart in Heartland. I have no idea if guys need any ROC stuff but they like 30 pegs of stuff. Zartan and Sgt. Stone and some of the commando vipers.

They were no deal at $6.98 but they first rang up at $9.98 and I had to work with the lady to show her that most of the figs were marked at the lower price.

I found a full case of wave 5 last night at Midland Wal-Mart. Picked up Hawk, Steel Brigade, and Jungle B.A.T. All awesome figures. A buddy picked up one of everything but Blowtorch. They still have a pair of him, a Cobra Trooper and Cobra Commander left (plus three Arctic Destros and a Jungle Viper which they've had forever) if anyone is in the area and interested.

Well, I posted a sighting of a transparent MU Vision that sat in Davison for over a month and no one bit. That's one of those "double your money" figs.

Sadly, my job doesn't take me anywhere north so it's too much on gas to get there only to find out someone came in after you and grabbed them up. I think many of us would rather go the BBTS route.

Skipped my southgate and Woodhaven searches and instead went to canton and hit up the Walmart and Target on Michigan Ave and Walmart and target on ford road. only thing i found that might be of interest are ROC vehicle sets the mantis, snake trax, and rockslide at walmart on michigan for $9.00 i passed on them. other than that all was a waste of gas and fail lol, the walmart on ford rd. didnt have any sign of joes even being carried :(

The problem is that they are not re-stocking on a consistent basis and are still clogged with wave 1-3 figures.

1 local target had wave 5 (viper/ig wave) once and then this week re-stocked with the wave 1-4 revision case with X2 trooper builders, Skydive, and Shadow Tracker.

Anyway, happy hunting to all. However, it does seem like Michigan is last on the supply chain from Hasbro.

i hate when that happens, especially if you're supposed to be "working" and a 30 second transaction takes 30 minutes

Haven't seen anything beyond the Shadow Tracker wave in retail in a while. Spotted Rock Viper wave near Ann Arbor at the middle of Spring... but that's it. Also, you can have a Target employee check the Skystriker DCPI and see if stores in the area have it.. at least someone I knew at my Target did for me. I didn't want one bad enough to leave town for it though, going to pass on it, forgot about Zarana, money needs to go toward it since odds are I won't find it on HTS tomorrow.

Targets around me have been restocking Marvel like mad. The Monroe/Toledo area. Nothing past the Cable wave, but still, any stock at ALL was rare for so long! Thor hasn't passed Wave 1 anywhere, Captain America has the Red Skull wave minus Red Skull/Crossbones almost everywhere. Star Wars I've managed to find everything from except the K-Mart exclusive vehicle.

Okay. The Walmart in Hartland is bugging the hell out of me. I'm a customizer and that particular Walmart has a ton of fodder I like using with it's gigantic RoC display.

It's listed as On Clearance for 9.97! I know I've posted this before but I have an idea. I didn't notice if the sign is displayed at this Wal-Mart but most have a sign that clearly says they will match any competitor's price.

Seems logical, all I need to do is find a competitor that still has their RoC in their system and for a very cheap price and provide proof of this.

Does this seem plausible?

ok who hit up the pontiac TRU? the figures have been in the exact same position for the last two months and someone went through and pulled half of them off the pegs. on the plus side they did get in 4 skystrikers recently.

Finally seen some Alley Vipers and Shock Troopers on the pegs in Kalamazoo! Almost can't believe it! Of course, I bought a few online for inflated prices already because I didn't think that I was going to see them (like the Resolute Cobra Troopers which never did turn up.) I've been holding off on buying waves 5 and 6 online, but I'm losing hope of ever seeing them on the pegs since Hasbro decided not to support any part of the existing G.I. Joe mythos and to direct all their attention to the film again already.

Amazingly enough, I did spot some Skystrikers at the West Main Target earlier this week, but I couldn't convince myself to spring the cash for one even though I've lusted after one since the mid-eighties.
