This digitally remastered edition is brought to you for the first time in full colour.

Penned by the luminary Gerry Day, the strip boasted artwork from two of the industry's greats; Geoff Campion and Cam Kennedy, with lettering by the stalwart Peter Knight. Modesty presents me from hyping it too much, as this week's BFTB Colouring Project (http://www.bloodforthebaron.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=29) was done by yours truly, Jim Marshall.

Thanks fellas! I'm working to get Bloodhound Part I done in time LOL, Part II has been fully coloured, and we've just started work on Part III. We're planning on releasing it as a complete digest in either volume 2 or 3 of our Best Of Collections.

I actually missed this strip the first time around, I didn't get into Action Force comics until the Jungle Terror era. A friend of mine kindly lent me his collection of back issues, I can still remember poring over them with a torch under the bedclothes as a child, and for my money, this initial run of stories such as Bloodhound and Desert Strike are Battle Action Force at it's best.

My friend's mum eventually threw all of his comics into the bin, which was a fairly common occurrence in the UK at that time, apparently it even happened to the original artwork, which was dumped into a skip outside the publisher! It was this sort of thing that part drove me to create http://www.bloodforthebaron.com.

these OFFICIAL Uk comics ran for about 5 years pre-marvel UK and was a weekly run of about 12 stories at least ( sometimes 18) so theres a lot! we been coloring and chapter and releasing it every week for the last 18 months and were not even half way through the material. so many Great stories!

you should check out School of Snakes, this is when the RED SHADOWS fight Cobras Destro and the Baroness , its one of my favorites!
