I am getting pretty annoyed with the waiting. At least show a sneak peek or something. Hopefully they don't put out 2 or 3 at a time. :( because that is the only reason I see why this could be taking this long trying to push out more than 1.

Nah sideshow's fairly comitted to doing as much of a quality product as possible. after they announced the accuisition of the star wars liscence, it was about 6-8 months before the first figure was announced. we will probobly get our first look at Cobra Commander and Snake Eyes at SDCC.
also, they just announced a new base body, so some adapting of the joes to those bodies is probobly taking place ( namely the head and neck joints.)

Another MAJOR question is how fast can we expect to see rleases?
The star wars line sees a minimum of one preorder every two months. the lor of the rings line seems to be a 12 inch figure every 6 months.
Personaly, i'd like to see something once a month, but have it cycle . Figure, Bust, Diorama. figure, bust Dio. etc.
It's kinda funny really. i got Out of 3 and 3/4 figures when i discovered sideshow toys lastyear. And once they announced the Gi Joe liscense, i ended up getting back into joes with the 25th annaversery line out of frustration waiting for sideshow. Go figure :)

I'm still waiting for as Sideshwo Boba. Yeah, I've seen the whatevers its is, lol, but I want to see Sideshow do one. And I can't wait to see what they have instore for uis Joe fans.

YOu mean the medicom Boba? Ja I've got him too, you can never ave too many Boba Fetts IMHO, Sideshow will get to him, probobly next year, they said a while ago that 2008 was ging to be " the year of the armor and arybuilder" They've already got their armor out now ( See general Kenobi) So it'll probobly be stormtroopers, clones and a sith lord this year, with the fett comming next year.

TNI has pics up of the 12" figures packaged. Also a release date of June '08 for wave 1 and July '08 (I believe) for wave 2 is listed.

Yeesh, they're even uglier with the new angles. Blech. . .if I weren't a hardcore Flint fan, I would pass on all of these.

Actia;y I't salmon colored. I had a spare Luke Body, and Kit fisto's clothes, Lukes accessories, and Mace windu-s boots. So I put them together to make Luke from the New Jedi Order novels. I need to re-paint his hair.
Looks less pink in person, more... i donno... raw- fish colored?
