My First Custom Joe. Topside.

Been working on this one for a while, had a heck of a time finding all the parts and making them look good.
Couldnt find any Joes that looked like he was wearing sweat pants...so I updated the look and took some liberties on the outfit.
Just wish I could find a rocket pack like the original had. oh well..maybe some day.

The head and helmet is from Toys R us Joe Troopers pack. Its the blond guy with the beard.
Chest, torso, thighs,and arms from 5 pack Shipwreck.
Shins and feet from ROC Destro
Gun from 5 pack Destro, and life vest from a fellow Joe.

I primed it and painted it with Tamiya brand paints.

Good to know I'm not the only one who thought the blonde trooper from the Firefly vs Greenshirts box looks like Topside. The boots are a little iffy, but otherwise, I think it's a great custom. Nicely done!

The original figure came with this rocket back pack dealy, anyone know of something that looks similar to it?

I've thought about using Scrap Iron's missile launcher...
