So the other day I was putting the attachments to one of my BATS into his back pack. I dropped one and it fell into the thick carpet that covers the floor of my Joe Room and bounces under the bow of my FLAGG. I reach down and feel something between my fingers thinking I had grasped the attachment. When I bring it up I discover it is FIREFLY'S PHONE! I'd lost the damn thing nearly a year ago and spent a lot of time looking for that little green thing.

Earlier this week as I was reorganizing the JOE room, I stumbled across another great find! A Skystriker rear landing gear spring! That thing had popped out while I was cleaning it and I'd pretty much written it off. Those are even harder to come by than ol' Firefly's phone.

Anyway, it's been a lucky JOE week.

Anyone else had this kind of luck before?

i looked on the floor the other day, and found this rubbery plastic ring, it's the same material the webgear is made from, but i have no clue what it goes to. i never seen it before, so i used it as a wrist band for a custom lol, but i know eventually i will find out where it came from and will have to exclude it from my custom. i looked on yojoe, and looked up all the newest figures i had bought, but no luck. i really have no clue where it came from or what it is, but it's perfect for a wrist band.

Well for starters, Luck is a SHE, not a He.. She might not like you talking about her like that. LOL

One time somebody hit the wall where all my joe shelves were hanging. Just about every figure fell, and along with it, of course the weapons. So I gathered up all the stuff and matched every weapon to the rightful owner. About a month later I was at the store and noticed the little white handled knife Spirit comes with and couldn't remember seeing that. I had already vacuumed so I thought it was a loss, but I looked anyway. Found it sitting in a crevice of a nylon weight. I was happy, cause well, I found it.

That's awesome, I thought you were going to say you found it in the vacuum. I have to admit, I looked in the vacuum cleaner for Firefly's phone after I first lost it.

I guess it wouldn't have mattered where I found it, just happy that I did. I almost can't stand having an incomplete figure, don't know why but it bugs me.

When we were kids, my one friend lost his missle from a Toybiz Archangel figure inbetween the cracks of the sidewalk. Even though we knew where it was, we STILL couldn't find it. So, I guess what I'm saying is, if you lose something outdoors and find it, you're damn lucky.

When weapons vanish there is a magical place where they go to.
Inside Killer Whales! Have a look next to the white prongs in the hull where the spring loaded action is. There are two large gaps around them. I recently won two incomplete Whales which i took apart to use all the best parts for the one i'd keep.
Inside them were 3 Whale missiles, 1 devilfish torpedo and 2 missiles, Snake Eyes V2 sword, Duke backpack and 3 or 4 other misc weapons. I bet half of peoples Whales have stuff rattling around inside them.

You're not alone. Most figures I don't even consider as part of my collection if they're not complete.

this is why hasbro needs to bring bak the accessory pack. but not just weapons. they need vehicle parts too. I still can't find breaker's bubble gum or the tubes on my trouble bubble.

I've often thought how much collecting vintage Joes would have changed if whoever made the decision to recolour the accessory pack weapons had just thought " Ah sod it we'll just release them in the same colour that they originally came in"

That would have been AWESOME! Then I wouldn't have so damn much trouble finding another 1982/83 ENEMY rifles.

When I was a kid I lost the gun to my Grimlock. I didn't even have a clue where I lost it. About 2 weeks later my older brother came home one day and had found it in the parking lot of the local grocery store (I grew up in a very small town). My guess is that I dropped it when I had gone to the store with my Mom.

Another time I lost the cannon to my speeder bike toy in the grass in my front lawn. I looked the entire afternoon until it got too dark to look. I was really upset and frustrated that I couldn't find it after carefully looking all afternoon. The next morning I got up and went straight outside determined to find it. I went right to the spot where I thought I had lost it, and I immeadiatly found it in the first patch of grass that I looked.

Wow, that IS lucky. The grass has claimed many an accessory.

Then my vintage Crimson Guard wouldn't have a blue backpack.
Bugs me every time I look at him, I should break down and go to ebay.

Yeah, I had completely given up on the Grimlock gun. After that I stopped taking my toys with me in the car.

I was pretty lucky about the speeder bike cannon because my father cut the grass later that afternoon. I was really amazed I found it because I thought I looked very carefully in the spot I lost it the day before.

Maybe the Smurfs raided Gargamel's castle and pushed it to the top of the grass for you.

It was the 80's, this was very possible.
