But it's not back to anything, it's a new direction. PoC is a step ahead, not going back to anything.

But it's awesome no matter what direction.

I dig the new cards. Being introduced to all the new stuff with a nod to the Joe I know...good stuff.

hrmm. not impresed with 90% of the new stuff. i would rather see the remaining ARAH Characters released in the 25th/ME style, not another version of the same characters. just my opinion though.

I am glad they moved on from ROC because ROC sucked.

This is a big step in the right direction, if the filecards didn't suck I would be even happier, but I'll keep making my own for now.

I'm just glad they lost the eagle logo and lame movie "G.I.Joe" lettering for something more like the original

This is the biggest improvement I think. No more G.I. Joe delivering Mail!

I actually throw all packages away unless I can reuse it later on for storage(like a lot of my Japanese collector's item toys). The only TF boxes I kept were for my 2 Binaltech figures.

How awesome is it that the 2 Snake Eyes were probably the worst POC figures at Toy Fare?

Red Alley Viper...awesome.

I think it sux that Hasbro abandoned ROC, the same way they abandoned the 25th. I love the POC stuff, but what is Hasbro gonna do when the next GI Joe movie comes out? Dump POC for the next movie toys?

I'll say it again ... POC is sick ! I have been hoping for updated joes for so long . ARAH is nice and I would love for it to keep getting the 25th treatment , but come on . This is not ROC . This is the first real next gen Joe line . I gave up on ever hoping that an update/ upgrade would ever happen. I am stoked ! I watched in disbelief as so many of you consumed those JvsC, VvsV , and DTC fecal droppings year after year . For those that haven't scoped out the POC vehicle packaging , get ready for a new Terrordrome by 2011 !

They should be putting out one redone Joe with every wave. I'm pumped too an I hope this is the way we go. (I don't much care for the Movie head sculpts.) Plus I love all the new characters we're getting. That is my favorite thing about GIJoe. Kickstart looks awesome. Resolute Flint looks awesome. The New VAMP. Beachhead, Dusty look good too. But how hard would it be to say add Rampart, or say Skidmark instead of Desert Fox? I still want and enjoy every new character, but it's a missed opportunity to bring someone back. And where is LOWLIGHT? I for one love updated looks for all the Joes, but like many I'm running into the problem of too many of the same characters. SE V50? It's like the same figure?

agreed as i see it as an exspanding the roc style figs with the improved look and articulation. i just don't understand the use of the 25th stands, The roc designed stands are much better and not to mention double pegged for both joe and cobra

I'm siked about POC and I love the new packaging! Not as much as I love the 25th stuff, but a HUGE improvement over ROC. With a Fall release, it's right in time for my b-day!!! nice. ;)

It is a step in the right direction, I still thing the 25th stuff is so much better and there was still tons on cool stuff that could have been remade.

There is alot of good stuff and I think with this line, there is certainly room to slip in some classic based characters as well.

Im in love with the New Joes and cards they come on!

The cards look good except for the chrome logo...that was a baaaaaaad move on hasbro's part...it blends into the blue background and gets lost. The red white and blue logo would be perfect

even Gold would have been better then the chrome ~ it would have stood out a lot better on the blue packages...

and yeah, I'm pumped, i think a lot of the PoC (for instance, Beachhead) figs are the best looking Joes ever.

I like alot of the new items. I'll be buying alot more than I did when Roc was out. This line is soo not Roc. Anyone who thinks this is part of Roc is crazy. They have changed the card art to look more classic while still being modern and new at the same time. They have droped the movie based head sculpts.(Thank God) They have swiched the battle stands back to the classic style. They have Classic figures as exclusives coming out. I think the movie toys sold ok for Hasbro. Although I don't think they did as well as they had hoped. That is why we are seeing Msrp back at 5.99.

I hope they keep black ripcord around.

Hell no.
That was pure bull. No reason to make Ripcord black. Why change a character when there was a better one already? He should have been Stalker. That fits better. Stalker was very cool. I hate Hollywood changing stuff for NO reason.

That's good to hear. They can do the same as the past and introduce new or old characters with the release of the toys.
That's how they can get the kids back into it.

I mean...a kid looking through ROC figures at Wal-Mart probably has no idea who Shipwreck is, let alone get all excited to buy it.

If Hasbro could have done this good a line-up in 1991, Joe would have cept going. This is the first original stuff, that is well executed. The JvC thru DTC had a few good ideas and concepts that never quite lived up to potential. DTC had the best vehicles since the original line, but no audience. The 25th line is awesome, but I want new figures and modern updates, as well as original vehicles. So, yes, this line has me pumped. Now the question is how long does the good time last before the next set of movie toys come out?

Let's hope the next set of movie toys does not hit retail till late in 2012 or until 2013. I also hope they don't look like the first movie toys.

Troy hit the nail on the head with that. But yeah man, Im way excited to be a long time Joe fan and be a part of this awesomeness.

Its not ARAH art, but I think any ARAH fan with an open mind will whole heartedly support this..it looks fantastic. I wasnt that crazy about the ROC stuff, but this makes me very happy...a great new chapter in our Joe-Verse.
