Trying to bring the positive vibe back. If you have no interest in PoC/Resolute or will just bring negativity, please don't post.

So, we're now getting new and updated versions of different characters. Are the PoC/Resolute ones going to replace other versions and become your definitive version of the character?

Will you rename them and add new members to the ever increasing Joe force?

How many cases of Resolute are you going to buy?

Simply put, what are your plans?

Just because of the cost associated I'm only going to get 2 of each of the Resolute packs, one to keep MOC and one to open and "play" with.

Flint, because I like the Resolute version so much, even though the figure isn't perfect, is going to become the definitive version for me. This is how Flint should have always looked.

I'm not a fan of Scarlett, so she'll get packed away. Arctic Duke will become Coldsnap. Stalker will become Quickstrike. Roadblock, I'm not sure what to do with him. RoC Roadblock is my definitive version. Urban Roadblock is Double Blast, Vintage style Roadblock is now called Freight. I'm not sure what to do with Beachhead, among all the different versions there's enough for me to make Beachhead, Wreckage and Sabretooth with a couple left over. Snake-Eyes gets packed away because CS is my definitive version (although depending on mood V2 can be as well).

Most of the Cobras will get put away. Resolute CC (the 5-pack one, cause I like the colors) is my definitive Cobra Commander. The Baroness is different enough that she can be a new character, not sure what to name her yet. Destro is cool, but I like him. I don't like Resolute Firefly, but he'll become another named Cobra (Cobra needs more of them). I wonder if he'll work as a member of the Plague. Because there's no way I'll be able to afford to army build the Res Alley-Viper, he's getting a new name and will be a singular character. This will become my definitive Zartan. I love the PoC one, but it's too environmental to work as an everyday Zartan. Storm Shadow, I'll have to get in hand and see how he stacks up against the other Storm Shadows and see which gets the honor of being the definitive one (Ninja-Ku is currently leading the race).

Dusty, because his vintage is so iconic, will remain and the PoC one will get a new name, not sure what yet. Jungle Duke will get a new name. I'll have to get this Clutch in hand to see which is the best one to have the honor of being "Displayed Clutch". I'm pysched we're getting new Joes: Night Fox, Tomahawk and Kickstart.

I'm not a fan of the Mechs, but I like the drivers. $25 bucks for a driver? Maybe I'll see if can work a trade with someone that wants just the mech. Cyber-Viper will become a singular Cobra.

I love this Beachhead, he's the definitive Beachhead. Or he may become Sabretooth, just because Beach's original look is so awesome.

Arabian Storm Shadow will become an Arab assassin, the figure just reminds me of Altair from Assassin's Creed. Name undecided at this time.

PoC Firely will become a new Cobra.

I'm pysched for the PoC stuff. The level of detailing on the tactical vests and all the accessories is awesome.

I would love to see other characters get the PoC treatment: Alpine (a must IMO), Hit & Run, Tunnel Rat, Stalker, Airborne, Footloose, Dialtone and so many more.

So what are your plans? Never to early to "play", as far as I'm concerned.

Since i have no real attachment to the versions coming out, i can tear into them for new customs... I didn't see anything that didn't look good as is for a renamed character, or with parts that were awesome for new projects...

It's going to be a fun year!

some will go in to my collection some will be coe fodder for the poc line. res will be in my collection and ill buy extras and use them for fodder .

While there is much I don't like, there is alot I absolutely love.

I've been building a Joe arctic squad, but then I thought, well the Cobra's are extremely lacking on that end. Who will they really take on, an Ice Viper armed with a mug of Swiss Miss? No more, I love the Ice Cutter, I think it rocks. Those Joes are in trouble.

I'm a huge fan of the New H.I.S.S.. While I will always love the original, this is the best reimagining. Very cool, very modern.

Beachhead usually had good figures, but the new PoC one looks killer. Snowjob is great, and as far as RoC/PoC designs go the new CC is an improvement.

As far as Resolute goes, I think I'm gonna pass on the Joe case, as much as I'd like the Stalker and Scarlet. I loved the movie, but many of the figures leave me cold. I'll get the Cobra as I have no 25th CC, and the Resolute design is cooler and can double. The Destro is my favorite figure. He just looks cool as hell.

the others are going straight into my pocket joeverse, where cobra-la won and a small team of joes and cobras fight to survive in a hostile world full of mutants!!!

jungle duke will become sgt colbert the leader of a marine recon unit

firefly and beachhead are gonna be the teams professional hellraisers blowing sh*t up BIG STYLE!!!!

I have been rebuilding a collection so I can do stop motion annimation with them. My Joeverse can some what come alive. I started my first one and am about 12min into a 30 min episode.(will def show once done) This is my way to custom. The new poc/ resolute stuff is a must for this project. I love the cartoonish looks of the Resolute and the wild/but yet sensible color schemes. So each Character in the 7 packs will replace my exhisting one. Scarlet will just have two outfits, as well as Duke and Roadblock, & of coarse SE. For what I am doing the New Zartans are perfect to show different stages of a story. Stormy can be used like this too. The Alley Vipers will be the first true army builder for me. I have 10 cgs & 20 neo vipers like in movie, but the red Alley Vipers will be the one that I can't get enough of. They will become my definative cobra trooper. So for someone like me who just restarted to collect, the 25ths are the nuts and bolts of my collection for characters, but these pocs & Resolutes really make the story or Joeverse pop.

Not sure if I'd buy any right now. Maybe some vehicles. Probably the new hiss tank if the price is right.

If there's a nice version of covergirl, I'll definitely buy it. :)

ToyFair pics have me more excited about Joe than probably any time in recent memory. Absolutely great combination of updating the classic characters and giving a fresh take on what GIJoe is... Sci-Fi / Military Fantasy. I love everything I've seen.

The packaging looks great.

Some of the best sculpted figures I've ever seen in the entire run of GIJoe.

I'll get one of each of the reso packs, and probably headswap Scarlett and trade off Arctic Duke, since the single-pack version is my reso Duke.

I don't like to mix and match my Joe-verses, so Reso will go on it's own shelf. My small RoC sill get sold off, and I'll pick and choose which PoC figures to buy and display, also on their own shelf.

No plans to purchase any of the vehicles or drivers, just cause I don't have any room, but I may try to trade for a driver or two, depending on my mood.

I think the PoC stuff looks like some of the best Joe stuff ever made, at least in terms of the figures.

The Resolute packs look much better than they did at first glance (the press photos) as well.

I can't wait for the Resolute 7 packs as well as the new POC stuff! When all the toy fair pics started popping up, I was getting all excited the way I would for each wave from the 25th/ME line. 2010 will be a good year for Joes!

I'm not sure yet. I think the new Snow Job will be the definitive one, and the others can be different characters. Jungle Duke will become Muskrat. Arctic Duke=Blizzard. I will likely pass on most of the Snake Eyes figures, as I think City Strike is now the definitive one for me. All the vehicles except possibly the mech suits are must haves for me. I think these are some of the best vehicles in a long time. My top faves are the VAMP, HISS, and Ice Cutter.

Resolute get's it's own shelf. I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do with PoC. I might mix it in with RoC, but I'm not sure. I don't think it will get mixed in with ME though. To me the ME universe is set in 1985 or so. The PoC stuff doesn't really fit in with that, so I'll probably give them their own display.
