Convention Set Question

I'm one of those who has never been lucky enough to attend one, not even the one that happened here in my home state of Texas. But I do plan on attending one in the future (most likely next year) and I am wondering about the sets. I wouldn't mind adding one to my collection, however right now the after-market costs are kinda prohibitive to that desire.

Are these things that high up on the price ladder initially?
Are they factored in to the admission costs?
What's the deal?

Any help would be appreciated, so I can save up accordingly :)

Well.Last year i was post to go and couldnt after paying for 3 tickets.Well they mailed my exclusives and everything that was in my package.It was cheaper than buying form someone but also the same as if i would have just bought the set from the JoeClub at my Officers price.
