I know the 1/6 figures don't get alot of attention around here, but I've recently switched to the 12" figures. I will be picking up a Sideshow here and there, but I've found that many of the Hasbro 12" offerings make great bases for customs.
So today I was at Walmart and stumbled down a back aisle and happened onto a whole row of great clearance deals on different brands. In there I spotted 4 of the SS with Cycles for 15 bucks. I don't know how much they originally started at, but I remember at Xmas they went on sale for 30, half price of that is one heck of a deal. Not sure if it's just local as the tag listed SS specifically, and the store had NO SE versions. So maybe that store is just trying to get them off the shelves. For 15 bucks I couldn't say no, and the working convertable crossbow has me itching to do my first female 12" figure. Can't wait to see what I make out of this guy, though I may use him as my SS and sae myself the cash of eventually getting a Sideshow SS. He's not very high on my list, and this SS looks alot more ARAH then RoC. As I've been doing my customs in a more IDW style anyhow. He could easily pass for an IDW SS.
