Rescue Mission 4 Pack Review

Checking in with some new GI Joe goodness. I picked this up around the holiday for $20 and I feel it's a pretty great value at that price. However after Christmas a lot of these are getting marked down and you can find them even cheaper. Definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of Snake Eyes. Full review of all the figures ahead.

That is the best Snake Eyes in my opinion too. I got 2 of these sets when they were marked down to $9.98. They were also marked down 75% from what I hear.

Yep, broke down and bought a second set when I saw them for 5 bucks. Didn't really need another one, but I love that Snake Eyes, and it doesn't hurt to have two more army builders. I'll burn the Duke.

I like the Snake Eyes, but both sets I bought had a seriously bent sword scabbard. Anyone else get a perfectly straight one? Also, while I appreciate he is all black, couldn't they at least have factory painted his sword blade silver?

The Neo Vipers are ok, I like the blue tint to their uniforms, it adds a little color and a little more classic "Cobra-ness" to them.

Duke, well what do you want? It's movie Duke. Again. I put a Ripcord head on my extra one and painted the hands brown, so now I have GI Joe trainee versions of them both, for what it's worth!

I got one last week for $5 and some change...I actually like Duke as well...SE is fantastic as you all know. I'm not collecting the neo vipers so I have them up for trade if anybody is intersted.

Found one just sitting around at Target earlier yesterday. Kind of odd as I thought all of these were gone by this time. Scanned and it came up to that $5 price point I'd be willing to pay. Not bad at all for four figures despite the fact that I didn't want Duke. Oh well...for $5 it was a bargain.

I passed on this set even when i saw it marked down and was tempted. I dont like the metallic blue pants of the Vipers or the blue camo of Duke. I wouldve only gotten it for the SE but it didnt seem worth it either.

On Snake-Eyes' shoulders the material of the fabric looks like the body glove of the Clonetroopers.

Nice didn't know anyone was still finding them that late in the game. Just revisted this set this week. Still a fun set.

They're still like $34.99 up here in Canada. They've got like 20 sets at almost every Zellers I've checked out. I'd only ever be willing to get this set if it were like $5.
