Please tell me someone else has one of these? (Grey Pants SS)

Yesterday I went to TRU and got lucky and found a Stone wave and this morning I was looking at them and noticed that the SS has grey pants instead of red. Does any one know about this?? Has anyone ever seen it? Please tell me this is not the only one in existance.

This came from a sealed case, so I know 100% it was not tampered with.

I've had one since January/early February . i did not know it was a variant until you posted this. My friend has the red pants. Weird that i never noticed.

I also found one this afternoon at TRU. It is indeed a variation. Although with this wave resurfacing I don't think it's going to be as rare as it once was.

Does this mean that Sigma is still being made?? Those of us who collect know that there were no mentions of a Storm Shadow with gray pants...now to see people reporting in 2008..damn, I hope that's a glimmer of hope that us S6 fans hold of something released in 2008.

I just picked up gray pants SS today at TRU in Culver City, CA. I'd never heard of this variant till I saw it on the shelf, which is a neat experience.

They also had a red pants red pants SS and three gray Timber SE's if anyone wants those.

variant, my butt!!!! the stone wave was purchased or repurchased by toys r us. the boxes have date stamps from 2008 on them plus the other evidence is: look at the red blinky light. it is going real strong. if these figures were in storage for 2-3yrs the red blinky lights would have died out a long time ago. the gray pants cannot be explained other than thats probably how toys r us ordered them, or hasbro didnt have anymore red pants in stock. in addition to the gray pants ss ninja, gray capped cc is showing up around the u.s. as well. hope nobody paid more than $40 plus s/h off of ebay for that one...also in the assortment is stone, and artic se with gray timber.

i bought the stone and gray pants ss at toys r us in time square manhatten over the weekend.

y'know, i am almost positive i got a lt stone two weeks ago at tru that came in a green case. not tampered with. i will check tomorrow and post again.

For the longest time I thought this Storm Shadow(in red or grey pants) would be a waste of money, but the grey pants appealed to me, and I found myself staring at the figure, debating whether to buy it or not(Storm Shadow is my favorite character). I finally caved in, and the grey pants help a LOT. It matches better than the red. Not to mention, there is a way to attach his scabbard without having to use parts from other figures(like the bandolier on the v1 Sigma 6 SS). I have him looking like an unarmored samurai, and nearly all of his gear on him.

Very cool figure, the black on the lower arms, feet, and mouthguard are excellent. He looks like a Cobra saboteur, exactly as his profile describes him, sinister and dangerous.

I found some of these here at TRU this weekend also. Got a Lt. Stone and Cobra Commander. I was surprised to see them. Saw multiple Snake Eyes with grey Timber and a SS like this. Dunno if he had red or grey pants.

Unfortunately the recent Grocery Outlet releases don't have the Storm Shadow with gray pants but they do have the CC with silver cape. I need to make it to a TRU one of these days but the three near me are about 45 to an hour away...
