Amen to that, Flash. It's like...every time I want to pick something up..I have to remember not to pop a blood vessel when I look at the pricing on eBay.

Again, granted, people can charge whatever they want on eBay....but eeesh, 700 for the box set? C'mon now.

yeah, what will be funnier is the people who wait a little bit before trying to sell their exclusives, since botcon exclusives seem to drop in price after like a month of being released. Also, did this Botcon sell the Pepsi Prime as well? One of the auctions was claiming you could only get it at Botcon and it was limited (Made it sound like it was 1 per person) But it looks like it's the same one that Pepsi's been giving away 100 per day for a while now :) (Probably just ebay seller bs but I was curious)

There must be a lot of those then since Pepsi has been giving 100 of them away everyday from 5/14/07 till 8/05/07 That's 8,400 of them!

Yeah, yer right about that. There are alot of greedy people, mainly the people that don't collect, just sell, they take advantage of people like us. Makes me sick!

You know, on a random note, this thread reminds me of an...issue I had on eBay yeaaaaaaaaaaars ago (like, when beast wars first started!).

There was an online store called "hasbrocollector.com". It was a Hasbro owned site, that sold japanese items, etc.

I had bought Beast Wars 2 Galvatron & Longrack from the site...and wanted to add a few more figures to my collection (BW2, that is).

I found a "flaming lio convoy" on eBay, thought it was cool and bid on it, since it was only $30. My high bid was $35. I won the item for $32.90(?) (might have been a slight bit more).

Well, low and behold...I get an invoice from the seller...for $102.90?!?!?!?!?!?!

I e-mailed him and asked wtf, he said "Shipping is $70 since these things for $100 on eBay, you're paying market value".

This was before ebay gave a crap about gouging, and even they said wtf. I won my case against the guy...and to get back on track, it's amazing what greed can make people look like.

LOL. There are bids on them also, even though there is still (last time I checked) ROCC's and Rhino's available from Hasbro with the discount.

Believe it or not...a LOT of people have no idea that HTS sells Joes, or that it even exists!

Could it be from the total lack of promotion on Hasbro's part? Naaaaaaaaaah. The always do such a fine job of promoting Joe product *insert dry sarcasm here*.
