**The A-10 is the same as the one Marauder was going to offer, only the PTE release is said to be in grey, like the current USAF ones are**

I wonder if the command center will be the same as the last one they did...that'd be awesome! The bridge sounds like part of an aircraft carrier...but that may just be wishful thinking :)

Hey welcome back from vacation CIAD! I bet this was good news to return to.

No problem guys, I'm all about PTE, and I'm glad holensock posted the news over at GPXD

Funny thing, a couple days ago I was wondering if the PTE A-10 was cancelled.

I'm so glad it isn't! I will definitely look forward to the command center too. This is one of those "sleeper" lines and they do a great job for supplying "joe scale" vehicles, accessories and figures. Its like a modern ARAH line!

They do a way better job than chap mei as well.
Pics should be up soon over at the PTE yahoo group. I might join up, it seems to be the best place for PTE info but it also seems you have to join to view the message board.

That A-10 is going to RULE! I remember when I saw it more than a year ago online. Blows the Chap mei one out of the water and is one heck of a joe scale airplane. Speaking of which, I will probably buy some different colored PTE F/A-18 Hornets@TRU.

Gordin Chin(Power Team toy designer), uploaded a in box pic of the A-10 last night!~ IT IS PHENOMENAL! It blows the Chap mei and BBI versions out of the water. Unlike the chap mei, it does not look small, and unlike the BBI version, it does not look bloated. It is in grey with some smoke airbrushing on it. Comes with 2 figures and their accessories as well as ECM pods, bomb racks, bombs, and missles.

This will apparently hit big lots soon, I hope we can find it easily@TRU/KB.

Go to that link and the click on the sign up link. The process is a bit lengthy, you have to register with yahoo(free), then reply to a couple emails from the power team group(I think these are automated), then wait for the team to confirm your membership(this took less then a day in my case). Once your membership is confirmed, click on the files link, then go to "PT2007", thats the link where Gordon posts the new images of the upcoming product, scroll down and you will see the links for the A-10, Bridge, and headquarters. The bridge is a land bridge. The A-10 is the best A-10 in "joe scale ever". Rather than use it for Wild Weasel as a new Rattler, I might give it to the VSV Ace as his new ride, as his uniform color matches with it! I have a feeling this toy will retail for $20 like the F-18 before it and be similar in size.

Its rumored that there will be an F-35 in this line. I hope thats true. I would be shocked if there was an F-14! An F-22 would be great too, as well as a harrier. I love the PTE vehicles and figures! Best line to interchange with joes hands down!

The best thing about these is that not only are they high quality, but they evoke feelings of the ARAH 80s era; good price, good proportions/scale(no bloatedness or squashed look), and no missle firing or electronics to make bloated or bulging compartments. The headquarters is a must have, I hope I find one this time. From what I hear it was very affordable too.

I need to stock up on the TRU versions. They have 3 figure sets+vehicles/accessories for $10! They also have the F-18s for $20. They are the black one and the camo green/grey(looks like the spytroops sound attack X-30 Conquest camo only darker). If you guys haven't bought the F-18 yet, BUY IT! I highly recommend it! It looks and feels more like an ARAH vehicle than the Thunderwing and Skysweeper do. The size is great, and its well done, again the price is great too.

For non-joe vehicles and figures to mingle with your joes, look no further, PTE does it best!(Seriously, if you've seen the BBI combat command A-10 and the Chap mei A-10, this PTE A-10 makes me not regret not even seeing the chap mei version and the PTE A-10 easily outclasses the BBI combat command A-10).

I don't know if this is appropriate for this section, but it is pretty general, so...

I was perusing through TRU yesterday and saw that the new Power Team Elite A- 10 has indeed been released through TRU's Elite Operations line. This thing looks AWESOME! It's huge and authentic. I didn't pick it up (it's just too big for my space right now) and I couldn't check the price (all of the price checkers were off line), but I just wanted to inform everyone that it was there. There were also some smaller vehicle packs from the same line that were taken from Chap Mei's soldier force that were new, but they didn't look so cool to me.
Anyway, those of you without a Big Lots in your area (like me) don't have to beg out of town realatives and friends to pick this baby up 'cause you can get it at your local TRU.

I finally got ahold of the a-10 and the combat tank.

Yes...the second figure with the a-10 is a ground crewman.

The A-10 is awesome, a lot better than the BBI combat command version exclusive to target some years back. PTE makes great vehicles, I can only imagine how cool an F-14, F-22, F-15, and F-16 as well as F-35 would be in their hands.

In any case, I may have to get a couple and paint them up in blue to use as Neo-Rattlers.

I keep looking at that A10 and seeing it in Cobra blue with red Cobra sigils on it. That plane just rocks. The command centre set is just awesome. There are a couple of shops around here that stock PTE. I will have to keep my eyes open.
