In a raid on the research labs of a japanese company, Cobra took a lot of prototypes and research: Among the items was an odd gauntlet-like object that the company has been intensely analysing. But Cobras labs were unable to determine what it was, what it was for, nor why two multimilliondollar multicorps had been fighting each other for it. One day, the Baroness went to inspect the odd object, and when she got close to it, it began to hum and glow... then it attached itself to her, making her the new bearer of the Witchblade, changing her hair to silver in the process. At first she loved the power it gave her. In these pics, she shown attacking an awestriker. It only took a few moments to rip apart the vehicle, drop the engine on mainframe, then dismember scarlett. As her power grew, she progressed from single vehicles to multiple vehicles to bases to entire cities. But as her power grew, so did her paranoia and distrust of everybody around her, especially CC and Destro. Finally she realized that the constant stress from battles and the physical changing was damaging her body more and more, and that, in time, the Witchblade would kill her. Then her despair and hatred of the Witchblade grew as she came to the horrible realization that it was only a matter of time before she would wind up as dead as her numerous victims.
