Your favorite vehicle types

Hey guys and girls

During ARAH, we had a ton of vehicles. Which vehicle types were your favorites? Which type should get more limelight in the anniversary line? Which ones do you feel were neglected in the past few years and need to be resurrected?

I went with Ground Transports. I want a new APC. The Rhino was the closest thing to a transport that we got in the modern line but it doesnt have near the troop carrying capacity of the APC

Airplanes would be my 2nd choice but I want a new Jet thats as big as the Skystriker, Condor, or Night Raven

Updated - well done (meaning - working landing gear, no bulky firing mechanisims, cockpits that work well and fit two figures, awesome decals, real type of hardware, and working wings) joe and cobra jets!!!!

Definitely tough. I put boats, because I loved the Moray Hydrofoil so much. Something about flipping depth charges into a sea of living room carpet. Never had the Flagg though.

The Night Raven was awesome too. Loved that thing.

Can't wait to get the newer Rhino and ROCC though also.

Imagine how awesome the Thunderwing would have been had it had the above mentioned things, especially no bulky missle launcher! It would have been sleek and awesome.

and now my two cents.............Ground vehicles were always the best! I challenge anyone to say the Vamp mark II, Havoc, or even the underrated Desert Fox 6wd weren't super-bad-ass?? Helicopters are a close second vote though, and a repainted Tomahawk would rock this world

just occurred to me, why have we never gotten a "good" cobra chopper?? They were always featured prominently in the Marvel comics?

The ground vehicles were great, however my preference was definitely towards planes(being that I watched Top gun and Airwolf when I was 2, favorite anime was Macross and grew up wanting to fly an F-14....yup you can definitely tell which vehicles I liked!)

I am a big fan of the HISS II and Ice Snake.

I too wondered about the cobra choppers. A heavily armed gunship would be nice. I liked the spytroops crimson command chopper, that was exceptional for a retooled/repainted vehicle. My favorite cobra copter was probably the Mamba. It looked deadly and very unique.

Definitely up for seeing a dedicated cobra only gunship. If it looks anything like the Mi-24 HIND it will RULE!

The Tomahawk was sheer awesome. The joes definitely advanced their copter technology with that one. Who could forget the Cobra Mamba as well? Now thats one unique copter we haven't seen in ages!

I voted for the "Personal Use Suits". Mechs are COOL! I guess they never really caught on with earlier JOE toys because it was a "modern"(so they say) army toy line. Maybe giant robot suits seem too Japaneezy for A Real American Hero? Who knows.

The 2.5" Iron Hammer customized to 3.3/4" really made me take notice of that vehicle. I went out and bought one. It was great. As of right now, I have 6, and plan on getting lots more. One day when time and money permit, I will start customizing them all. For right now, my 3.3/4 JOES sit in the empty fuselage. I removed the cockpit/seat entirely. Most fit comfortably in there like that.

Mech suits also better enable our boys to fend off them pesky Decepticons! I don't have any Cobra equivelant to the Iron Hammers except for the 8" Sky Bats. I have a lot of those and plan on getting a lot of the Red Banshees. Those show a lot of potential! I do have plans for customizing mech vehicles from other lines for JOE and The Enemy as well. As soon as my lazy self gets up and gets it all done, I'll make sure to post them.

I registered yesterday, (looked here often and found that the people here eat,sleep, and live G.I.Joe) I voted for personal armor, such as the S.N.A.K.E armor, and J.U.M.P. jet pack, I always felt hasbro could have done more in this dept. (remember action Packs) I loved the helicoptor pack, and Mech suits that came out during Valor vs. Venom just show how cool suits can be (I use my arms on my R.H.I.N.O. the interchangeability factors are as limitless as your imagination, I would love to see an updated J.U.M.P. (and yes the jet pack trooper included in the 5 pack is a nod to that, but I would love to see the design staff look at what made the "Real American Hero" brand work, it was devirsity--if I spelled that wrong you get the point* but All of the 82-86 vehicles were in most parts realistic, the rest was what made our line a fantastic one, sci-fi, ninja, the armed forces, space, aliens, it was, and still is the Greatest toyline of the modern age!

I had to go with airplanes, just because of the sheer coolness of some of them on both sides (Skystriker, Rattler, Conquest, Night Raven, Phantom). But man, it was a tough one with so many great helicopters (Tomahawk, Dragonfly, Mamba) and other vehicles (Whale, Moray, Vamp, HISS, Mauler, HAVOC, AWE Striker, Warthog and so many others).

Airplanes/Jets all the way for me. I loved them as a kid. Too bad I never got the first GI Joe jet. I had the Cobra Raven and the GI Joe one that looks like a Stealth jet....the name escapes me right now.

I'll go with tanks. I figure the category was pretty broad, and would pretty much mean armor in general, with the exception of transport vehicles (the APC is soft skin anyway, and they never had another real APC, except maybe the Warthog...).

Even if you don't include the others, the Mauler, various MOBATs, HISS tanks, Cobra CAT, Armadillo - they take it easily. My favourite new vehicle (new to me anyway) is my super mint Equalizer. I know it's technically an air defence tank, but man, that vehicle alone clinched the category for me on this one.

Ground transport. Anything from the RAM through to the APC is my thing.
I find jets too large in proportion to the amount of Joes they carry, while boats are limited in the context of 'play'.
Having said that, the WHALE is one of my favourites, but I guess it can be classed as 'ground transport'.
I like helicopters too, especially mid-sized examples such as the DRAGONFLY.

Boats make the best toys I think they can do alot when i was a kid id play in the bath with them, in the pool,etc.
Helis look the coolest and are in real lfe but as toys they are good show but as a kid I NEVER ran around making noises acting like it was flying,I just put guys in them and sat it there.
most ground transports are just ok but the old APC, the VAMP are great

Definitely tanks. Boats were my thing as a kid, but after spending 5 years stationed in Ft. Hood, the home of the largest Armored Division in the world, I've developed an appreciation for big loud tracked vehicles. :)

HELICOPTERS for me! I loved the Tomahawk. It was my favorite as a kid. I always wanted the Dragonfly. My neighbor had it. It was super! We need a heli for the 25th line! We have Wild Bill, but maybe they could re-issue the Dragonfly or the Tomahawk in a more modern format.

Sea, air or land as long as it's for transport. I always liked transport vehicles & moreso assault vehicles that doubles as personnel carrier. Wish they'll retool APC, Tomahawk, DTC Hiss, Desert/Night ops Humvee etc..

my favorites were always attack vehicles (jeeps or trucks) that would fit multiple characters. when it comes to action games, movies, or even just my imagination, i always like havin a group of characters load up in one vehicle together and kick ass. thinkin bout this makes me wanna play gta4 free mode, get a good vehicle load up on ammo and do some shootin lol. even when im messin round wit my joes, ill take out a few, give each a weapon and put em in one my cooler vehicles.

Gotta say ground vehicles. The VAMP was about the most fun to roll and slam around like a Tonka truck. I like the simplicity of that and the AWE striker.

Tanks are great. Always loved the HISS design. Just played with a Patriot Grizzly I was given with my daughter and it is actually a ton of fun!

As far as planes, very cool, but I always felt my 'striker, raven and phantom were a bit unmanageable in their huge size.
