Bio: A former civilian engineer and reservist, TANK brought his special technical know-how to the U.S. military to assist in developing the next-gen full body armor suit for the modern soldier. Codenamed IRON MAN, the project hoped to reduce the cost and weight of a full body armor suit based on the Series 6 Accelerator while adding flight, improved weapons, and physical strength not unlike the comic character of the same name. Fearing the new weapon, OVERKILL was dispatched to destroy the weapons lab at FT. HOOD. While TANK survived by using the new suit, the lab and TANK's wife & daughter were killed in the attack. For his rational decisions and attempts to save as many lives as possible during & after the attack, G.I. JOE offered TANK the chance to join as a full member with the rank of Sergeant to help take the fight to COBRA.
Other Information: "TANK and the suit are inseparable. It's the last project his wife, a civilian engineer at FT. HOOD, was working on with him so it holds sentimental value and gives him the drive to keep fighting. I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that suit, if I were a COBRA soldier."
