Whats the battery pack you get with Grand Slam ??

I've got a blinking battery pack with grand slam which arrived this morning and cant find what its for on any of the instructions or packaging.

Its 2 AA batteries in a holder with wires trailing from it to a blinking LED in a silver square???

anyone got any ideas

Could you see it without opening the box? If so, it is just fir decoration. I got mine with all my newer figs and I just take them out. They are actually pretty cool. I hooked one up to a building I made so if a Cobra walks near it, the led will blink and the alarm will sound. They are actually really neat, keep it.

It was a ploy in marketing to grab the attention of consumers walking down the aisle. Moreso for kids. I guess when a person walks down an aisle, they will naturally be curious about a flashing light and be drawn to it.

I guess Hasbro thought it'd make the figures look "spy"ish and gadget technologicized or something.

I'm just surprised Hasbro was willing to spend the extra money for all of the AA batteries. Especially for just a blinking light.
