WIP: WWIII Storm Shadow

Or solo mini series Storm Shadow. This is separate from my customs thread because it is a work in progress. I still have yet to find a way to put the Arashikage hexagram on his chest, and make his boots look more accurate and add a utility belt with the ninja stars and such. What do you think?

I like it, very clean. For mine I used a ton of green stuff. This was my first custom that I attempted and I learned a lot about sculpting with green stuff. Are you trying to make a removable utility belt? Mine is sculpted right on, but you can attach his nunchucks too it.

Good lookin out...back. Thanks to all of you who checked this out. As I said this is a WIP and I will continue to go forward with it.
daremo, your custom SS gives me some ideas. Great job for a first custom (mine was a Toy Biz Superman that I mangled to try to turn it into Carnage of all things) I like the attention to detail that you showed with the nunchucks, shoulder harness and belt. How did you do the Arashikage hexagram? Looks good.

The claw was from Vega of the street fighter figures from the mid 90's, and I think the sword was from VvV, one of the ninja characters. I'm not completely sure 'cause I got it in a loose lot.

How did you do the Arashikage hexagram?

I used green stuff and just sculpted in the hexagram. Make a box outline with 1 to 3 proportions (width by length) and divide it horizontally into 3 parts. Divide the three parts in half horizontally. Then divide the box in half vertically. Smooth over every other division to get the hexagram. Finally, clean up the edges so everything looks even. It might take a few tries to get it right. I painted it black and went over the raised areas with red. Hope this helps.

Instead of trying to be 100 percent accurate with the DD comic Storm Shadow, I've decided to take some creative license and take a little bit from all the comic versions of SS to make my own version of "Ultimate Storm Shadow" Call it what you will, but I like the old school ninja gear with the more modern gun belt (hey he was in 'Nam, and was known to pull a strap or two in the books) Now I won't have to shave down his sleeves or swap out his upper arms. Dig it!

Obviously Tommy Arashikage is a Yankees fan. He did live in Manhattan in that water tower for some time.
