I like the add on armour pieces(Especially the little thruster engines on the Juggernaut upgrade version). I think the little pieces will come in handy for details in other builds.

I am sorry to report that i clean it back to that level every time i leave there...
Occasionally, i leave my current project on the right, between the dremel and the scrollsaw station. But otherwise, the scraps get swept on to the floor, and the floor gets swept to clean up.
I like to keep my workspace clean and tidy(Other than the organised chaos that is the shelves).
And the tools are all held to the wall with magnets(And each time a tool gets used, i put it back where it came from...).

I saw IM figures at a WM today for $3.50 each. They had two figures left. They still had an IM section on the regular aisle, but no figures on the pegs.

Actually Riot_Control found several cases of them in Anchorage, Alaska. I think BBTS got their shipment of them as well. I don't think wave 4 saw a wide release because so many stores had so much stock of waves 1 & 2.

They have had the figs in stock several times, I know a guy who got the New war machine from BBTS, I was hopeing me and him could go haves on a set cause I wanted mandrain but he got his and then they sold out, now back to pre-orders.

I never saw till just now that he is Spartan coloured... How did i miss that? I already have a 1/18 Spartan helmet. Might try that out and see how it works.
About the ammo drum, a friend of mine who used to work maintaining A-10s said a drum of that size would hold about 1000 rounds. I'd imagine you'd want at least 1000 rounds in a gatling gun.
I know this is a custom of a toy, but a bit of realism never hurts...
And i wanted to try and give a Megatron vibe to the arm mount for the gun(Plus, the plate still swivels, so the gun can rotate so it's under the forearm).
Also, the head is from a Wave model kit(Search for "Wave Raptor MKIII Ma.K" and you'll find it). Although it's still available, it has been discontinued, and might be a little hard to find one. I made a little mold for myself to i can make copies for my own useage(I have ten of the kit, but i don't want to "waste" the heads on customs).
I will take a couple of pics later on of the custom next to the IM2 War Machine figure for sizing.

Hey guys.
I am working on a custom of one of the Drones.
I dremelled off the head mount. And gave it a cool gun...
It will have "realistic ammo drum"(Where did War Machine keep his ammo exactly????). And it will be a different colour...
I also removed the hip armour to allow for poseability.
Just to give us something to talk about while we are waiting for all the MKII, MKIII and MKV figures to sell...

If you assume he used traditional ammunition, then yeah the War Machine suit is a bit ludicrous. However, if he was using a magnetic accelerator or hybrid magnetic accelerator/chemical propellant system then he could easily "stack" the bullets in a similar fashion to stacking plastic cups.

And another iffy detail is that Hammer makes all the new parts for the War MAchine suit, and they TOTALLY change the look of the suit, but rather than the fact they could have MADE IT A NEW SUIT(Based on the MKII), it's meant to be the MKII with add on panels.
Those panels would totally ruin the shutlines and weapons systems of the MKII...
It would have made more sense if you saw them analysing the MKII, but building the War Machine from scratch in the background...

That's not what happened. He was supposed to have piggybacked the panels and weapons onto the MKII.
Even Rhodey says at the end: "Listen, my car got totalled in the explosion, so i'm going to have to hang onto your suit for a minute..."
It's the MKII Rhodey is using.

I have the BluRay, and that scene is incredible.
Of course the flaws with the War Machine storyline are TOTALLY made up for by the scene when Tony puts on the suitcase armour...

Maybe, maybe not, Indy TOD figures didn't follow that pattern even though they did end up being cheap in the end (although there were reports they were showing up at krogers, I never knew anyone who actually found them there). TJ maxx seems to be the pattern for cancelled lately, but then you have the last Star Wars legacy wave of figures that still get pretty high price tags on the secondary market and also never showed up at TJ Maxx. They ended up being store exclusives just like the Twin Battle gun/range Viper and the rest of that Target wave.

Just because they can show up at TJ Maxx or Big Lots or other stores doesn't mean they WILL. They might but it is not unpresedented for something like this to stay hard to find too. No one can predict for 100% certainty what will happen with this line and this wave.

That is at least why I ordered, been doing this too long not to see something like mandrain end up being the grail of some peoples collections.

At this point, I've lost so much interest in IM2 that I could care less if they did make the movie whiplash armor. I would only look to pick up black widow if it ever came.

I would have been more excited about finding the drone if I hadn't given up and bought it on ebay back in October.

Only IM2 figures I'd still buy are the Hammer Drone, Black Widow, and if they made it a final battle armored whiplash. Comic whiplash and mandiran I'd consider if I liked how they looked in person, but since they'll never hit stores they're off the list.

Well I have like 18 or so drones even though some of them are haunted. It is about the only I even army built.
I had the Hammer drone but traded that on the account the packaged was all banged up. I am might pick up more Hammer drones if they pop up again on HTS.
