Yeah man. That's where I found my Hulkbuster when I couldn't find him anywhere. Kohl's sometimes gets things first for some reason. But their prices are a couple dollars more.

btw,any of you guys who found the new wave at walmart,what did the pegs look like prior to finding the new wave?did your pegs have alot of the older wave still on them or were they close to empty?i ask this because all the wm's near me are FULL of the old waves,thanks

Mine was definatly needed stocked, but much more in the comic side than the movie side, which is why it kind of surrpized me that they stocked the movie side but nothing for the comic side of things.

Movie War Machine and all the drones are cool, but my fav IM2 stuff are the Comic Series IM2 stuff. It is awesome that for the Marvel movies like IM2 and XMO Wolverine they offer a "comic" line concurrently with the "movie" line and some of the "comic" figures don't even appear in the movie at all either. So in conclusion... Marvel needs to make more movies ASAP! LOL.

Yea makes me wonder what Thor and Cap lines will bring. I really like how we got 3 sub-lines within the IM2 line (Movie, Concept, Comic).

I have high hopes for those lines. I really hope to see a Crossbones, US Agent, and lots of others. The Thor line will be cool for medieval style customs. Hope to see a Beta Ray Bill outta that line too.

They are tricky. I can get them on and they will stay fairly decent if I don't move the arms too much. Looks great to display.

Lucky find today. Stopped at the way out of my way mall because I wanted a Gyro for lunch. After I finished eating I remembered that mall has a TRU Express now. Figured it was worth a look in case they had the 4 pack exclusive with Fury and the two drones. No luck on that, but right on the front of the single figure pegs was a Movie Series Iron Monger so I didn't have to leave empty handed.

I was at Kohls when I spotted a bunch of pegs with IM2 stuff. It was the new waves, but they were like $9 (and still on sale). I thought about just giving in, but I resisted. I went past the pegs again and all the Drones were gone. Whatever, I guess I'll check Wal*Mart.

I get to Wal*Mart and see the pegs have new figures. I check every last one but unfortunately no Drones. I start walking away sadly, until the Star Wars endcap catches my eye. "Why are there IM2 figures in the upper corner?" Sure enough drones. I remembered my $5 coupon and picked up a Ultimate Armor and Whiplash. I figured I would price scan it, and to my surprise they cam up $5! I was so happy I almost skipped out the door. In the end I got 1x Weapons Drone, 1x Air Assualt, 1x Whiplash, 1x Ultimate Armor and 1x movie acurate Mk.6 all for $23.

Words cannot describe how awesome this day has been.

Didn't know their was new vehicle for IM2. The hummer like, same size as the Vortex race car. Repainted could be a VAMP MK2 or take the removeable missle launcher and add to a repainted Stinger or 25th VAMP.

Yea, I know that feeling. Had the same luck trying to find War Machine back in July-August. I must have checked 30 different store for that guy, and now I can see 5 any time I go to the store.

I fiddled around with the figures a bit, and the Drones do not dissapoint. The Weapons Drone is just awesome, great bulk and color on it. I like the second head it came with (battle mask down), and the arms are supposed to fold into a shield, but the articulation doesn't allow so.

Air Assualt is sweet, mine is really loose but it looks great. I didn't notice in pictures, but his jet-pack has two 50 cals on them.

Movie Accurate Mk.6 just blows the old one away. The silved really helps differentiate between the Mk. 4 and 6

Whiplash kinda sucks. The brown pants are distracting to me and the tattoos are just blobs of ink on mine.

Ultimate Iron Man in ok, the legs got horribly warped and the red paint still shines through the silver, making some parts actually look pink.

I might go get the 90's armor and some of the other comic figures tommorrow, it's hard to resist these guys at $5.

i agree on the ultimate armor,it looked cool on card but those legs are awful,he is bowlegged

It looks like I am going back on the road and hunt them down again.

Scored two IM2 Hammer Drones, Green and Silver, today however the price went up from 6.99 to 7.88 per figure. WTF? These figures are going up in price just in time for Christmas???

Yup. I went and hit up 3 more Kohls, 3 CVS and 2 Wal marts,2 Targets and 1 TRU along the way. Sadly nothing to report and definitely no drones.

I am glad the new wave is out and hopefully MU wave 11 with it. Finally with inclusion of more "bad guys" coming out will make for some interesting battle displays.

I noticed that the stores I have been to recently have had either the comic monger wave or the drone wave, but not both. Kinda wierd.

It is weird some how some stores do their ordering. Sometimes they order from a particular wave and that is all the receive.

For instance, I remember when I was hunting for wave 10 Joes, I found them all Paraviper, Mutt,Wraith at Kohls and only at Kohl's. Now most from that wave eventually turned at Marshalls and TJ Maxx later on.

I went to Khols tonight bought 4 drones and they let me use the 5 off 20 and my 1 of each figure coupon. BUT they said they dont take coupons, cashier called up the manager and he said it would be ok so I got them at the right price. I stashed an air drone and 1 more weapons drone I'm going back tomorrow morning with more coupons and hopefully I'll get away with it one more time.

I would play the ignorant card then the pissed off card when they say they dont accept coupons because "Khols runs so many deals of their own" then ask them why they overprice shit so much that when it goes on sale they still make more than retail ..wouldnt say that, just venting, and yes its worth it.

Yea, my Air Drone has warped legs too and the feet are so loose it won't stand up on it's own.

I think it might be the blister thats messing these guys up, it might be too tight, coupled with getting heated up and or chilled in transit it probably wrecks havok on the rubber parts. I honestly thought my air drones calves were on the wrong legs they bent in so far. The weapons drone is cool but I wish he was more movie accurate the fold down plates on his arms are...useless but the whips are cool.(needs an f****** gun though)

I have visited a couple WM's since Friday and have found both the Air Assault Drone and the Weapons Assault Drone. I purchased the Weapons Assault Drone, not at the $5.oo price tag however, but at the $6.96 price!! Still better than the $7.88 price tag!! Then we went to another WM for Halloween costumes for the kids, I checked IM2 figures and found a Whiplash!! The card was alittle bent up, but I bought it anyway!! Yippee!!

While I love the one-of-each-drone 4-pack idea, this probably makes more sense from a retail standpoint. It's also very similar to the route they took with the TRU exclusive GIJoe 5-packs: Snake-Eyes with four red ninjas, Firefly with Greenshirts, even the CG and Night Watch sets.

What would probably make even more sense for Hasbro and retailers (or retailer if it's exclusive): One 5-pack with Mark VI and 2 each of two kinds of drone, and another 5-pack with War Machine and 2 each of the other two drones. With all four in one with an extra Iron Man, parents and casual collectors might just buy one 5-pack and call it a day. This way, several of those types of buyers are more likely to buy one of each. Hardcore army-builders would buy the shit out of them regardless of whether they wind up with a pile of extra Mark VIs or a pile of extra mark VIs and WMs.

I'm one Air Assault Drone away from having two of each, which I'll be pretty happy with. But if they did the above, I guarantee I'd buy one of each to get to four of each drone, and would seriously consider buying two more of each 5-pack so that I could have the full eight of each.

On the contrary, the figure prices have indeed went up to $7.88 and nothing else got cheaper.

I picked up the Proving Ground set at Kmart today, I've been very reluctent to get this set because The Hulkbuster looked so jacked up. But it was on sale for $19.99 and with the 5 dollar coupon only 15, so I bought it for the other two figs. I gotta say, once you get the HB IM out of the package and that awful looking pose, it's not as bad as I thought. In fact I almost kinda like it.

I have seen a buttload of ultimate armor ironman. At least 12-15. And I can't find one that doesn't look like it was a gorilla forced into a pepsi bottle at the factory. Seriously they are warped, bent, shoved, and crammed in so many unforgivable ways, I just won't buy one.

I know and don't want to come across aggressive its just even if you think about it in the movie why would stark use a bulked up version of the mark 1 and not create his own it makes no sense from that standing but also I want to see a true movie version of the buster the potential is just too great.

Oh, I agree with you. From an accuracy stand point, it is lacking. But as a background piece for a hall of armor dio, it's not too bad. I justified buying the set cause for the holo and WM camo, at 15 it was only 7.50 each which is about retail. I had every intention of "losing" the HB till I started playing with it. Now it's like I got it for "free", and the fact that it grew on my quickly made my night. I almost didn't get this set at all just because of this figure originally.

Well you couldn't be more right there. I'm pretending the Proving Ground one is more of concept suit he Stark designed after seeing that the bulk of the Iron Monger suit from the first movie was obviously a threat.

And to finalize my thoughts of the figure, I'm not saying it's a great figure and it's being looked over. It's still not a great figure, just better than I anticipated. I was expecting the worst and got something better, so in that respect, I'm happy.

Perhaps, perhaps indeed. Or maybe Kmart realized they jumped on their exclusive multipack too early. While TRU and Target were getting into their's, Kmart may have realized the need to keep a current exclusive on the shelves so that the regular merch could continue to move. So the end result was this, WM, which they already had an exclusive right to (At least the "green" style. IM, which everyone has rights to in many colors as he's the main character (I am pleased with the holo version), and a "new" exclusive character, which all the good ones were taken. So they took a stab at a popular character at the moment and missed. Oh well, should have went with Pepper Potts. I'd like that more.

I've seen plenty of those Ultimate IM. I think I passed on so many of them all weekend. They kinda remind on the fugly Wave 6 Wolvie. It's always around and it won't go away.

Well I will continue my ISOD quest until I find one. Those drones can't remain out of my grasp for like forever. You know?

I would but the only price tag on them was the $7.88 sticker and then the $6.80 Rollback sign. I didn't know they were $5 until I scanned it at the Price checker.

Just came back from Wal-mart myself after picking up a couple of IM2 figures for $5 each.

its just the early wave figures the rest are normal like basics 6.75 and whatnot. I'm guessing their clearing out the old waves to make room for new ones.

Got 5 IM figures at WM for $21.81 tax and all after a coupon. They are $5 each now. Also cleaned out Kohl's of all their Drones. 3 each of the Weapon and Air drones. $9.34 each on sale. I left all the Whiplash figures. Kohl's also had the new Clone Wars figures. (Ki Adi Mundi, etc.)

Ugs=ugly. I might buy War Machine just becuase I own a lot of WM stuff, and the Ultimate armor is ok. I might turn that into a Arctic or Underwater armor. I don't care for Whiplash and that Mandarin is terrible. I'm sure they are great figures, I just prefer the movie designs over the old comic looks.
