The polls have closed so it is time to announce all the various winners of Gyre and I's slaughterhouse custom contest. First thanks to everyone for entering and bringing so much joy and merriment to the tank.

Our grand prize winner was a very unique entry. Gyres description of it sums it all up.

"I think it puts GI JOE as a whole into perspective as far as all the different incarnations the line has had. The winner of the secret Gyre-Viper 'Most in the spirit of a slaughterhouse custom award' City Strike Snake-eyes is Ocab and his Tigerforce Tripwire and Fruit Stripe. Pure Slaughterhouse win through and through.

Two rather 'special' tankers entries were so outstanding we decided to award them a couple loose figure prizes as well.

the city strike was for whomever we could look at entry-wise and say
definitively that it was genuine slaughterhouse material. basically something
we didn't have to judge because it was less like an entry and more like
something we thought slaughterhouse was all about.

we did NOT anticipate so many entries. we were unprepared prize-wise
for all of you. i thought to myself... i'll give everyone a prize... and then realized there would be no sport to it if I did that.

so next time around... there will be stricter rules and more focused prizes.
more news in a few weeks. Weasel is preparing to be a father and I am preparing to move out of my abode. What I CAN tell you about the next
prizes is that they are NOT as... random as the prizes from this first contest.
