25th Crosshair

This was my submission for Alyosha's Custom Contest and I knew as soon as I get the heads and saw this one that it was going to be one of mine(ended up being the only one b/c the ghillie took a while and went through a few different incarnations). I'd been planning to do a Crosshair custom for quite sometime but never got it started.

Parts list:

Head: Broken Arrow Toys cast
Body: Firefly/Beachhead
Hands: RoC Desert Ambush Duke
Neck wrap: Comic Pack Beachhead
Boonie, webgear: Spytroops Crosshair
.50 cal sniper rifle: Marauder's Gun Runners
Assualt rifle: Resolute Duke
Ghillie: completely custom sewn

No, not 550 guts. didn't even think of that and I have a whole roll of it in my closet...somewhere.

It's this stuff:

DMC Color Card Art. 117 - Mouliné Stranded Cotton (http://www.dmc.com/majic/pageServer/0s0101001b/en/Colour-card---Mouline-Special-117.html)

I got it at Michaels. The ones I used are: 610, 934, 935, 936, and 938 on the color charts. Once it was stitched in, I took a comb and frayed the hell out of it!

The fabric used,also from Michaels, was this:

I have seen that stuff...thought about using it once, but I have this other stuff that is from blue box toys for the 12-inch figs. I used it to make my sniper a while back. I have only ever found two packages of it, and was told by the local hobby shop guy that they dont make it anymore.
