IDW and the comicbook? toy/fair/?

Has anyone heard if IDW did get the rights to tell continuing Joe stories? Is it a direct continuation of devil's Due's World War Three plot? I hope so.

I have heard IDW got the book i hope we get a confirmation at toy fair, I have also heard the book may get a total reboot.

Sad that IDW gets the book or about the reboot? I personally don't love the idea of a reboot unless the full continuity is kept in tact.

More the reboot then the actual IDW getting it. I mean the TF reboot is ok, and honestly the marvel continuty got screwed up with G2 imo. SO I guess its not too bad they rebooted that. But the Marvel - DD universe should be preserved whoever gets the liscense.

Or maybe even just skip DD portion and restart from the end of the original run.. that way they can erase Lady Jaye's death.

I'm not happy with the idea of a complete reboot but I'd be fine if they just started from the same point DDP did with the Reinstation. Although, I'd still love to see them keep a lot of the DDP-created characters like Kamakura, Firewall, Zanya, Armada, Alexander, and the Plague.

I was reading on another forum that it would be a reboot that would fall in line with live action movie in an effort to bring the comic, movie, and toys all together to bring the brand continuity.

But I guess it's all just rumors and speculation at this point.

My money is on a total reboot. Which is fine by me, now that Im back into collecting Joes its a perfect time to start getting Joe comics too.
