I think the Seller was trying to do two things at once:

Stop further stupid questions about his shipping

And stop that buyer from bidding because they already seem like trouble..

I agree, i mean what if the buyer was new and didn't know. What if the buyer was mentally handicapped. If you are going to sell, whatever, you have to learn to deal with customer questions, no matter what the question is...If i was the buyer and the seller said that to me, i would take my business elsewhere, and i will tell you what, that comment doesn't look good when other buyers are thinking of buying his products...

That's not a stupid question at all. The shipping is double what it should be, and for a vehicle to be in great condition, it shouldn't be that dusty.

I agree the seller should have been more tactful. It almost sounds like a seven year old answered the question. That kind of mentality is not going to get you anywhere with a potential buyer.

As a long time seller online (ebay and thru my own site) I get some pretty retarded questions, but I reply to the dumb sounding ones just as profesionally as I do any other question.
For me, the only *truly* stupid question is the one that goes unasked.
