Anyone know if Joes are popular in Brazil?

Has anyone visited Brazil and found a crapload of joe merchandise at old toy stores because they didn't sell.

wow, i always htought that vehicle was crap in it's original deco, but the Python Patrol scheme makes it look GREAT!!!

Joes were made in Brazil through 1995, but it's unlikely that you would find any at retail. In the late '90's, Joe collectors contacted Estrela and asked about any overstock that they might have had lying around (like Hasbro Canada) but they were told that Estrela had no Joes left and their best bet was to find a secondary market dealer.

Thats why they need to be released in these cool colors.

I feel your pain man...I could have got one for $25.00 bucks a while ago...but I was too involved with my other collections.

If you think that's cool you should head over to joecustoms.com and check out the pythonized phantom stealth, to me anything pythonized is totally awesome, but im not brave enough to try to do it myself yet, although at joecustoms there is a tutorial on how to do it.

I have a question for some of you guys who are really follow why Hasbro does things the way they do.

Hasbro does tons of repaints re-use and re-decos with the figures because it's cost effective.

Why not do this more often with vehicles?

Besides Hiss Tank's and Sharc's vehicles don't get the re-deco that often.

I'm shocked we don't have python everything by know, sub teams are popular and this is something cheap and easy they can throw on the market to stop collectors from bitchin if for no other reason.

They wanted to get $40 for the ROC night raven and didn't seem to do well with it. I bet if you spray that same jet down with chrome paint and stores won't be able to keep'em in stock.

Also if they plan on re-using the same figure parts over and over again, why not sell us sub teams?

Doesn't Hasbro realize just by looking on sites like this that people are customizing this line like no other action figure line ever. Why not beat us to the punch and sell us more figures and make more profit?

Lastly isn't Hasbro ashamed that there are people producing better figures at their kitchen table then in the factory?

Sorry for the rant but I really would like answers to these questions if anyone knows, if it's in the wrong place...sorry

But really hasbro how about some new python stuff and would it really be so hard to get the Twins a decent suit?
