Qwe here is always impressed with the time and dedication that the tankers put into their customs! I love each and everyone of them and I can honestly say I have used some of your ideas myself but,

Where is the love for the things that go horribly wrong?
Or the things that are wrong from their start?

Helmet: Got it for 50 cents out of a prize machine (most expensive part)

Clothing: Bubble wrap from Marrs Industry

My worst custom ever is long gone. I think I left him in the swampy stream near my cousin's house and he sank into the mire.

I had Spirit when I was 11. I pulled off his hair, colored the top and sides of his head black with a permanent marker, chucked his loincloth thing in the trash and called him "Swampdog" or something like that. If I remember correctly, I used the same permanent marker to create a camouflage pattern on his pants and color his boots black. I wish I had a picture. He looked like a dog turd when I was done with him.

to be honest, i dont understand the great excitment over their toys lol. i remember seeing em on ebay, next thing you know gyre has em in his sig manhandling a guina pig lol.. after that bam, ppl love em. i don't see the appeal, much like how i feel what's on the radio nowadays. but to answer your q, your custom is very close, but it lacks some vibrant colored paste.. well it looks like they paint theirs in some kind of colorful paste.. not much of a paint finish..

BTW - Slaughterhouse Style does not = pour paint apps, or pour craftsmanship. I think it's a bit rude to say something like that.

So an example of Slaughterhouse-style is a bunch of Joe animals, painted from head to toe, in black and yellow looking completely unrealistic? I honestly thought a 5 year-old did that. Croc-master looks NICE, but the senseless destruction of the animals makes me want to call the ASPCPA (American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Plastic Animals).

Worst custom, Slaughterhouse is no better or worse that some other custom pieces I have seen here and there. So cut them a break please, no one is perfect.

This is my custom figure of Ohshitno, from the Joe episode after "Into Your Tent I Will Silently Creep" and his brief cameo appearance in the Marvel run, #157. His best appearances to me were not in the main title but rather Special Missions 29, Action Force #51, and European Missions #16 -where Ohshitno attacks Action Man! These are some of the best stories of G.I.Joe from the 80s and I can't help but feel that it's mainly in part of Ohshitno's amazingly deep and rich character.

Ahh great to see those that get it defend slaughterhouse, and a shame to see that some people just wont get the joy slaughterhouse can bring.

No worries qwe, our contests have the same ultimate goal, but decidely differnt paths to it. Some great entries so far, maybe I'll be able to come up with something for this.
