Man, I put like 3 of those into Toys for Tots this Christmas. What a fool I am!

Kidding. Also, not impugning anyone who does choose to sell 'em. Seriously though, what are the chances Hasbro doesn't rerelease some variation of that fig?

no joke, makin green is better than a homeless kid gettin a christmas toy any day, but seriously, unless these get re-issued over and over the price is only going up. Heck some of the more rare VvV figures sell for twenty bucks or more now

It's probably "hot" right now because there are more and more people being drawn back into GI Joe and they're trying to pick up the figures they missed

Well, Hasbro said that version would be released in black sometime this year, so the gray version probably will keep going up in price.

That is about what i payed for my SE/Timber when i bought him last month. I figured the price was so high due to scarcity. the only wave 1 figures i have seen in retail are Hooded Cobra Commander and Cobra Officer just because they have been put in newly released product as fillers...

When i bought mine, smalljoes was listed as sold out for the snake eyes and timber. I looked at every site i could before i ordered. Part of it to was that i also ordered 5 other figures at the same time and wanted to keep my orders together instead of different companies...

He'll be in a future revision case most likely.

What do you mean that he'll be released in black sometime this year? Do you mean Timber will be re-released in black or Snake Eyes himself is getting blacker?

Thanks.

I actually anticipated this. Though that Snake Eyes was one of the first peg warmers, it isn't being released in any of the current waves (and doesn't look like it will be released in any future waves, either). Its like when people starting freaking out about Flint a couple of months ago. . .

Regarding a black version of the ninja (i.e. 80s visor) SE, I haven't heard of this either. However, despite the fact that we've got about 10 different non-ninja Snake Eyes' coming out this year, I wouldn't be surprised if they did a completely black "V2" Snake Eyes to milk that mold some more.

This definitely doesn't hurt his stock either. Looks like black timber is giving Yalker and gold PDD a run for their money as the most sought after members of the 25th so far.

Hasbro said SE v2(with visor) would show up in all black like the v1(wave 5 version). They said it in one the Q&A sessions, that a black v2 would show up sometime in 08(they didnt say anytihng about a black Timber).

That is crazy. I bought one from smalljoes.com for $6.99 because the one I originally had Timber's bubble was slighty crushed. Got the new one and it was only slightly better. Sold off the old one not more than 2 weeks ago for $5.24.

You can get it with a Wave 1 Storm Shadow for $11.00 as a member of the GIJOE Club. They still have Flint's as well. ($30.00 for 5 figs of which Flint is included)

Yeah, there are a few ways to get some of the older figures through GIJCC. I went this route since I was missing most of the earlier waves and needed Flint and SE but didn't want to pay out the ear for them.
