I haven't seen a Target with the first Cobra set in months. you may as well save your gas, you are wasting your time. Target got in the original Joe and Cobra 5 packs, and then started receiving the Legion shipment, which also included the Joe pack with the shinier box.

in fact, I don't recall ever seeing the rearranged original 5 packs ever at Target, only at Wal Mart and TRU, which only further supports the likelihood of your not finding the original Cobra set at Target because they simply stopped receiving them long ago and never made it close to the clearance.

simply put, the Joe 5 packs you are seeing more than likely came with the Legions set, and the original Cobra set has been long gone from Target.

if you are looking for the original Cobra set, go to TRU and Kay Bee, they have them. if you just want them for Target's clearance price, it probably won't happen.

I believe that once they started selling the legions pack the case assortment was:2X legions 1Xjoe
I never saw a cobra set at target after legions started coming in.I don't think you will find one at a target or wal-mart.TRU usually has them,because they are $30 and they were available all over for $25.That is going to be your best bet besides ebay.I'm sure they will get marked down at TRU some time soon.Mine has probably 30 5 packs.mostly joe and cobra.

thanx 4 the heads up, no wander i keep coming up short at target...

i wander if i can convince toys r us to price match targets clearence price lol. i just dont feel its worth 30 dollars for an uncarded baroness ( i do despise box sets in general )
