depends on who's on the service desk or customer service. if its a regular associate, normally they just let you return and buy it, since they don't have to do all the trouble...well don't really care much...

and also, just talk to them nicely. customers are rude most of the time so they'll just have you go on circles.

I'm not sure about TRU but I know Target won't let you do that.

They have some strange policy about putting back on the shelf before you can buy it again. I don't get it because if you were to re-purchase it they would be saving time by not having to re-stock it.

well, i basically got a rhino for free, 9 roc figures, 4 TRU gift cards, and 1600 microsoft points for about 90 bucks

yesterday i spent $20 on joes so the lady screwed up and gave me a gift card. so today i use the gift card and gab 4 figures again. i used the card and the total is $11. this was a diferent cashier. she gives me a gift card too. II guess i should spend 20 on a narnia castle and buy more joes for another card. life is awesome!

Well went back to TRU it worked I was able to return 4 figure on the receipt and still keep the gift card :D the service desk person was very nice about it. awesome!!! so I got 3 more gift cards
