Saw this add on the website of a local comic store I go to...

So they're finally marrying off Archie? Weird... it'll take all the tension of the reprinted digests won't it?

So what's the world coming to when Marvel retcons away MJs and Spiderman's marriage and the Archie comics company actually has Archie get married.

That first picture still kills me, especially with Jughead in the background.

Veronica was always the hotter of the two.

It's a future "dream" sequance type story if I remember what I first read. Jumps 5 years or something into the future.

Had to happen sooner or later.

But why he chose Veronica over Betty?

I find the choice odd.

I can see doing the series, but you'd think they'd have a parallel series where he married Betty. Kind of a parallel universe thing so we could see both outcomes.

Isn't Veronica the rich one? He chose wisely. Just keep Betty on the side as a mistress

Well, it's a six part arc, so maybe Archie will come to his senses and decide Betty's the right one for him. Heck, Betty and Reggie didn't make much sense, either...

Neither have I. Maybe Archie has this inner need to be enslaved. Either that or he married the rich girl to make sure he could buy Joe figures, vehicles and playsets for the rest of his life. Hehehehehehe. :D
